Suddenly, just before they could move, a quick figure whipped infront of Leaf. Leaf recognized it as Flower. She looked anxiously at him. "Leaf, you have to come quick! Moon is kitting!" Leaf felt his heart leap. "Alright, les go!" He quickly sprinted back to camp, flanked by Flower and Juniper. Leaf saw "What's going on? Is Moon alright?" Leaf asked anxiously, unsheathing his paws and digging them in the dirt and grass below. Sparrow put his tail calmly on Leaf's shoulder. "You might have heard, Moon is kitting. She's having a hard time, but she'll make it." Sparrow meowed. When Sparrow saw Leaf looking at him nervously, Sparrow added; "Nothing serious. You'll be able to come in and see her and your new kits soon." Leaf could here wails and groans from the nursery. Though Leaf managed to put himself together. He nodded. "Okay." Sparrow went back in the nursery. A minute later he popped his head out. "You can come in now! She's all done!" Leaf ammediatly scrambled in. He scented milk and warmth. The nursery was pretty big, with moss nests and was in a bramble. In the middle he could see Moon laying on her side looking exhausted. A small bundle was suckling besides her. Moon curled her tail protectively around it. Dove was besides her. Once Moon saw Leaf, she purred. Leaf quickly padded over to her. Dove was besides her. "You have one son, Leaf. Congratulations." Dove meowed to Leaf, nodding. Leaf purred. "Thank you for helping her, Dove." Dove nodded. She then padded out. Sparrow smiled at Leaf, nodding his head. Leaf then curled up besides his mate. Leaf gave her a lick on the ear. He could feel Moon's warm breath. "He's beautiful." Leaf commented. Moon nodded. "Would you like to name him?" She asked, purring at the sight of the kit and licking him. "Alright." Leaf meowed. Moon leaned on Leaf. Leaf looked at the his small kit. The kit had a black and grey pelt. His eyes were closed though. "What about Storm?" Leaf asked. The small kits pelt looked like a storm. Moon nodded. "That's a perfect name." Storm pushed closer to Moon. Moon purred. Leaf stayed with her a little bit, before remembering the gathering. "I have to go and choose cats for the gathering. Stay safe." Leaf meowed, licking his mate between the ears. Moon purred. Berry nodded toward Leaf. "Your kit will make a good change of the nursery! I hope Moon and my unborn kits will make good friends!" Berry purred. Leaf also purred. "I hope." He then turned back toward Moon, and they touched noses, and then Leaf padded out of the nursery. He hopped on the high-rock for his first meeting. "Cats gathering!" Ammediatly Cats started padding out of their dens and gathering around. "I have chosen the cats, and also the deputy." Leaf had been thinking all about who the deputy should be, and found his chose. "The new deputy of SunClan is Thorn!" Thorn looked at Leaf thankfully, before padding up to Leaf. Leaf and Thorn touched noses, Thorn giving Leaf a comfortable lick. "Thanks, Leaf. I know you'll make a good and brave new leader. Also congratulations on the kit." Leaf purred. "Thanks, Thorn! I know you'll also serve SunClan loyally." Thorn then sat by the small rock. "The cats that will come to the gathering are Thorn, Dove, Sparrow, Log, and Gold. The rest of you will stay on guard of camp. I hope everyone gets a good sleep before the gathering. Dismissed." Leaf hopped off the high-rock. Once they had gotten to the gathering, he could see Night and Rose waiting. Leaf hopped on the large boulder besides him. "Where's Hay?" Rose asked. "He .. died." Leaf muttered. "Oh. Well congratulations on becoming the new leader of SunClan." Night meowed, dipping his head respectfully. "Thank you, Night." Leaf replied. Once everyone was silenced, Leaf began looking down at the many faces of cats. "Greeting. I am Leaf, the new leader of SunClan. Hay was on his last life, and passed away just a few days ago." Leaf meowed. "Leaf! Leaf! Leaf!" Cheered all the cats p, including ShadeClan and TreeClan. Leaf then continued. "SunClan is doing well on prey, and my mate Moon has just kitted today and had one healthy kit." Leaf added. Then it was Nights turn. "ShadeClan has regained all our prey, and we are happy to say three new, healthy kits have joined the clan!" Then Rose went. "TreeClan has gained all our territory back. We are mostly doing well, and no cat has caught a sickness." And the clans were happy. The rogues were gone, and all clans were well.
