Emberwillow was enjoying the greenleaf sun beat down on his back. He was stretched out on one of the smooth, flat rocks lining the camp. Usually, they were reserved for elders, but he didn't think old Mistlight would mind much, however her daughter Tidespirit would probably mind a lot. 

In Mintclan, they had very strict traditions; there must be three deputies and they fight it out once the leader was dead; apprentices must spend three moons alone, out of camp to become warriors, one warrior would watch them, but not interfere even if the apprentice died. Mintclan therefore, was way smaller than the other clans, but due to its brutality they were the best fighters.

His peaceful sunbathing was interrupted as Tidespirit entered the camp, she was one of the deputies, along with Emberwillow and Foxshadow. She didn't seem happy. As soon as she caught sight of him lazing about on the rocks, she let out a loud growl.
"Don't you have better things to do than steal Mistlight's spot!" She glared at him, Emberwillow shrugged which seemed to annoy her more.
"Why am I the only deputy that actually does any work! Foxshadow's always in the nursery with his kits and your practically becoming an elder!" She exclaimed.

She seems like she was about to lecture him some more, when Ripplestar emerged from her den and glanced over the clearing.
"Just be glad that I have better things to do than put you on apprentice duty."

How do you respond

1) Tell her your a more senior deputy and if anyone is on apprentice duty it's her.

2) Tell her that the apprentices barely have enough to do as it is and swarm Mistlight when she has ticks, if your on apprentice duty, Mistlight will be grumpier than ever.

3) Tell her that if she's such a good deputy then she should go organise patrols.

4) Tell that you have been helping all day and if she should be yelling at anyone, it's Foxshadow.
