Cole x Scales
So this will be only fluff
Scales pulled the hood over his body, feeling the heat on his face. He really was drawn to this now…. Asking the very people he fought against for help. Hopefully they'll be kind, unlikely but worth a try. He sighed softly walking to the last location of their whereabouts. An old, destroyed apartment complex. The building was practically on the verge of falling but it must have been builded before his kind was locked away. It was a good shelter though, better than living on the streets of caves even. He shook his head, stay focused, he yelled at himself. Entering the building quietly, surprisingly this place had weaker security than that fancy penthouse. Scales looked at the numbers of the doors, looking for the exact number he saw on the wrist of Cole. The earth ninja, the strongest of the group. He smiled as the snake found the door. Scales felt a smile on his face as he raised a hand to knock on the door. Watching the door open before he even laid a hand on it, shocked by the timing.
The raven hair make looked at the guest confused. ‘How is there someone up this late? Maybe a fan, a crazy one….’ Cole thought. Looking at the guy in front of him, he scanned over the body. Checking for anything that would hurt someone or for a letter of some sort. But he didn't notice anything.
“can I help you?” He asked, offering a small smile.
“yes… it's about Garmadon…” Scales spoke softly. The earth ninja taking a step back, a little scare that a snake found their location so easily like last time.
“Scales? Why are you here??” He growled only to lower his voice to let his friends sleep.
“Garmadon ran off after we were… ambushed…” Scales spoke, his voice shaking a bit, “I need your help…”
Cole sighed softly, grabbing Scales arm as he dragged the serpentine to the roof. Quickly as quietly he did. As The reached the roof, Cole released the arm turning to face him.
“Ok, spill.” Cole crossed his arms, “this better not be another trap!”
Scales shook his head, tugging down the hood that covered his face. Revealing a human face. The skin was tinted blue in the moonlight. Eyes red and had little circles, soft darker blue hair brushed back. The face almost was a humanoid doll face, looking around 18 or maybe even younger.
In other words, Cole thought this person was cute now.
“Garmadon, after I pushed him into the ocean. He managed to summon a spell against myself and our people, some are still themselves and not in this… form” Scales explained, his lips looked glossy in the light. “I think he is on the Dark island…”
Cole nodded in a understanding way. He was too busy admiring Scales’ new form, he almost dozed off. Before he knew it, he was hugging Scales. Softly comforting the other male who was burning up. Scales didn't objected instead he return the hug, resting his head on Cole's shoulder. In a brief moment of peace, Cole moved his head into Scales. Pressing his lips against Scales’ head.
Cole immediately let go, blushed heavily. “I'm so sorry!! I didn't mean-” Cole apologizes only to see Scales blushed hard.
“It's.. fine, ninja…” he muttered.
“It's Cole,” he smiled nervously, “just call me Cole, Scales”
Scales nodded blushing, grabbing a hold of Cole's hand. Cole smiled, laughing a bit.
“What's funny?” the serpent asked.
“oh nothing” Cole stuttered, “it's just how cute you're acting.”
This comment made Scales’ heart skip a beat, making his face feel more heated and red. Why was the night so cold? Scales softly pouted, hugging Cole. Who was taller than he last remembered. But he didn't mind, resting his humanoid face on Cole's chest.
