It's been a week.

A week since that day.
The day I fucked up.

Yknow, I've realized a lot in my short life. It sucks being gorgeous. Like it really sucks. Sometimes I wish I was just, I don't know, looking like Charles Lee or something. [Damn throwing shade at Lee I'm sorry.] Again, Angelica and I have been off and on with each other. Usually we hang out, get drunk, and fuck. Almost like a washing machine. Insert, wash, dry. That's a bit disgusting. I no doubt miss James, but I refuse to apologize. He told me we were done and I had every right to have depressing sex. He's been hanging around with Burr, as I thought he would, and I've just decided to lay low for the time. I haven't been paying attention in my classes, but who can blame me? James was a little piece of heaven, and when he left, I was left with hell. James was staying with Burr for the time being, so I was surprised when I heard a knock on my door around 8 pm.

"Thomas you have to open up, mon ami! We are here for you do not worry." Lafayette screamed through the unfortunately too hollow of a door.

"Uh yea Thomas, you'd better open up or I think Laf might take out the door." Hercules said in a slightly lower voice.

"Nooooo.." I lay on my couch with ice cream in my underwear. I'm allowed to do this because I'm sad ok? Finally, after about 10 minutes of constant banging on the door I reluctantly let them in. Lafayette fell over as Herc stood in the frame.

"What." I stated blandly.

"You sir, need to get over Mr.Madison." Hercules said, crossing his arms.

"But- I cant, maybe he misses me..." I tried to say.

Lafayette looked down sadly, "Uhm Thom, I hate to zay thiz, but, James has, how you say, equipped a new boyfriend." My heart sunk.

"Wha- but- I- how..." I sunk to the couch, hugging my knees.

Hercules day next to me and patted my back, "Burr. They've been together for a day or so now. Very close with each other. I'm sorry man."

Laf sat down next to Hercules and he put on a movie. Just to 'take my mind off James' as Laf said. As we watched, I sat there, my mind going blank. I noticed how Laf and Herc would slightly touch hands and look at each other when they laughed. And how towards the end of the movie Lafayette rested just head on Herc's shoulder. Even when I pretended to be asleep so they left, they held each other, and kissed, and talked. Their voices so full of love and happiness. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, beauty doesn't come to everybody. Some of us are destined to be alone. And sometimes, it's because we deserve it.
