A day can start happy right? But it doesn't always stay that way.

Lizzie's POV

I (LDShadowLady) sat in a beanie chair looking at my phone, I text my boyfriend Joel "hey Joel, how are you doing? I haven't seen you in a long time". I waited about ten minutes for Joel to respond until my phone made a ding, I picked it up and saw he replied, "I'm fine, is it ok if I come over then?" Joel texted. I replied sure and walk into my living room so I could watch TV and I turned on the new. My big wreck was on screen and I squinted at the TV, I inspected the wreck and no one was in the car.

The reporter was talk on and on until the camera man turned the camera, I kept watch till they found the person who was in the wreck, it looked like the car wreck person flew out of the car. Of course I was concerned until I got a closer look at who it was, I looked hard at the TV and saw it was Joel! I fell off my chair and the channel ended. I started to breath hard and ran to go get my car keys, I found them and ran out the door, starting the car as fast as I could panicking, I kept thinking to myself "Joel! No! How did this happen!? I need to get him to a hospital!". The car went speeding fast down the highway, I got near to where Joel was and started to cry. All of a sudden bullets went through the window making me lose control, I got to where Joel was and picked him up to try to drag him into the car, as I was at the car I put Joel in the seat. I looked up to see what was going on, suddenly I felt a sharp pain to my stomach as I dropped to the ground, "I'm sorry Joel" I whispered as I dropped and blacked out.

I was still asleep or was I? "Am I dead? Am I dying? What's going on in the real world right now? Where's Joel!? Is he ok!?" I thought to myself unconscious "I'm scared Joel! Please help!". As a dream appeared in front of me I was alone, in a dark alley. I looked around to find some answer to this mystery, "JOEL!?" I cried out, I walked out of the dark alley, almost it feeling real, a unknown person stood by the alley and grabbed my arm as I walked out catching me by surprise. They pulled me to the ground and started to drag me somewhere, I tugged on my arm to get free but it didn't work. This unknown person dragged me till there was a boat in front of me, I looked at the person then the boat, "I'm guessing you want me to board the boat?" I asked the unknown person not looking at them, I looked at them for a response, the unknown person nodded. I looked worried at the boat about to cry until all of a sudden a hand touches my shoulder.

I turn around to see Joel stopping me, "don't go Lizzie" he said calm, "why" I ask. Joel barely starts to cry, "live your life, you have so much to live for Lizzie" Joel replied, I was confused but had a sad face. "I don't understand" I cried, "this boat, only one of us can go on it" Joel said, "what?" I asked. Joel pushed passed me and walked onto the boat, unknown person followed him. Before Joel entered the boat he turned around and smiled at me then went into the boat. The dream crumbled then I woke up, I was in a hospital with a breathing machine on my face. As I tried to get up my stomach felt a pain from the bullet, my stomach was bandaged, I looked around the room all my friends were there.

Oli, Sasha, Lauren, Scott, Seapeekay, Yammy, Joey, all of them. Lauren looked at me, "GUYS! LIZZIE'S OK!!" Lauren shouted, "thank god" Scott commented. I saw doctors rushing down the hall, I took the breathing machine off, "WHERES JOEL!?" I shouted, Yammy looked at me shocked. I got up, my friends pleaded for me to sit down but I walked out of the room holding my stomach of the bullet hole, I looked in the rooms to find Joel's room. I found Joel's room and rushed in, a doctor started to preform a shock, I walked up to Joel and stood by the doctor. She preformed a shock but it did nothing, I started to cry, they did it again and the same result, they kept doing that procedure but no new results. I burst into tears screaming while hugging Joel's dead body. I begged for the doctors to try to help him more hoping that if they did a different result would happen, they said they couldn't do anything. My world shattered.

Oli's POV

"Lizzie where are you going" I say chasing after her. I crash into the room seeing Lizzie hugging Joel but Joel isn't moving, I start to cry a bit too, "I'm sorry Lizzie" I comfort Lizzie. The doctor came in to tell us to leave, I touch Lizzie's shoulder, she has a bland stare that kinda scares me. I pull Lizzie a bit and she walks with me still looking at Joel with a creepy bland stare. "How about we take a little walk outside to clear your mind?" I offer, Lizzie snapped out of her bland stare and looked at me, she nods. We walk outside of the hospital, I know she's still thinking about Joel, I frown. She looked up at me, "where's your panda hat, I thought you always had it" Lizzie asked, "I didn't grab it, I wanted to get to the hospital as fast as a could" I replied.

"Oh" she said looking away, "I really so-" I said cut off as Lizzie hugged me and cried, I was shocked for a second and then I hugged her back, I smiled but cried. "Why did I ask Joel to come to my house" Lizzie whispers, "I'm sorry" I whispered back. I rest my head on hers and blush, I love her but she doesn't love me, it wouldn't be fair to Lizzie or Joel. As I stand there with Lizzie I never want to let go of her, so I can keep her safe, we walk back inside the hospital, I let Lizzie sit on the hospital bed and I stand outside the room.

Joey's POV

I'm worried about Lizzie and Joel passed away, Lizzie is taking a lot and I want to help, I walk up to Lizzie and sit on the bed by her. "So, this must be hard for you" I say looking at Lizzie, Lizzie nods without making eye contact. Everyone gathers around Lizzie and gives her a hug expect Oli, Oli looks in the room and smiles.
