[HINDI, ayoko!]

Matigas na sagot ng mama niya sa kanya. Nasapo ni Avis ang noo at malalim na bumuntong hininga. Her mother was a really pain in the ass! She was looking for her father but he's nowhere to be found. Kung kailan naman na kailangan na kailangan niya ito.

Avis was convincing her mother to give Caleb's a chance. One last chance. Pero matigas ang ulo ng mama niya!

"Ma naman!" Naiiyak na tawag niya rito.

Her emotions were unstable due to her pregnancy. Na siya at ang Papa niya lang muna ang nakakaalam. Ang plano niya ay sa mismong pamamanhikan niya sasabihin kay Caleb na magkakaanak na silang dalawa.

"Fine, you don't want to come here? Pakakasalan ko si Caleb kahit wala kayong dalawa ni Papa!" She hissed and dropped the call.

"What's that? Ayos ka lang ba?" Caleb asked. Kakapasok lang nito sa loob ng Clinic niya, he looks freshed. Mukhang tapos na din itong dumaan sa pediatric ward.

She massaged the bridge of her nose and shake her head. Lumapit agad siya rito at marahan na hinalikan ang lalaki sa labi. But Caleb being Caleb. He held her nape and deepened their kisses not minding if her secretary, Julian, saw them.

"Nakausap mo na ba si Tita?" Masuyong tanong nito sa kanya. Caleb sat down on the sofa and pulled her with him, settling her down on his lap.

Avis sighed and leaned against his chest. "Yes, ayaw niya daw umuwi. I'll try to talk to Papa, sigurado na papayag si Mama."

"Hmm, I'll talk to her once they're here. Don't be sad, hindi naman tayo nagmamadali na magpakasal." He reminded her.

They already talked about their wedding. Aayusin muna nilang dalawa ang gusot sa pagitan ng pamilya nila bago sila magpakasal. They both want a peaceful family. Ayaw din ni Caleb na mangyari sa kanilang dalawa ang palaging nangyayari sa pamilya ng mga ito, hindi kasundo ng mama nito ang side ng Papa ni Caleb kaya madalas na magka-iringan.

"Or kung gusto mo tayo nalang ang pumunta doon?" He suggested.

Umiling si Avis. She can't take a leave of absence again, may mga pasyente siyang manganganak this month, ayaw naman niya na ipasa na naman ang mga ito sa ibang doctor.

"Let's just wait for them. I'm sure Papa is enough to convince my mother, or maybe force her to go here. Pabebe lang naman ang mama ko pero hindi din ako matitiis non. I'm her only daughter, I'm sure hindi 'yon papayag na maikasal ako na wala siya." Avis sighed and turned to him. "Tapos ka na ba sa trabaho?"

Caleb shake his head. "I'm done with my work but I still need to do something very important..."

Tumaas ang kilay niya rito. "What is it?"

"I'm studying. Papa will cover me up for a week or so. So, I can study better and do well on my practice." He explained, pero hindi 'yon sapat kay Avis lalo na at hindi nito nabanggit kung ano ang inaaral nito.

"You're studying what?" Pangungulit niya na ikinatawa ni Caleb.

"Hindi mo talaga ako titigilan ano? It's  a secret. Sasabihin ko sayo kapag natapos ko na." He said with finality. Avis rolled her eyes.

Tsaka nalang din niya sasabihin na buntis siya rito. Fair enough.

They waited for another week pero nagmamatigas pa rin ang mama niya. Caleb on the other hand was busy for practicing God knows what was it! And she, was craving for something she couldn't name!

"Honeydew milktea?" Isabella offered.

"Here, apple with special bagoong. Luto pa ni Krizzia 'yan." Angelyn softly said and offered her the apple she's holding.

"Baked sushi?" Shawn asked.

Sakki on the other hand brought a lots of Onigiri and a carton of Banana milk. "Ako ang gumawa sa Onigiri, you should try it!"

"I only brought my self since you wanted to see me." Maliit ang boses na sabi ni Frances.

"Edi ikaw na gustong makita!" Shawn snorted and playfully locked Frances head.

Eze shrugged at her. "Well, I'm super stressed when I'm pregnant. So, no food from me. Good God! Just remembering what happened makes my head ache!" She exclaimed.

"Strawberry chocolate mint cake?" Angel asked unsure.

Isabella and the other ladies inside her clinic made a vomiting sound. Kahit siya ay napangiwi, naiisip palang niya kung ano ang itsura ng Strawberry chocolate mint cake na sinasabi ni Angel gusto na niyang tumakbo papuntang banyo.

"Sino pala ang magpapa-anak sa akin? I'm sure kapag kabuwanan ko na, hindi mo na ako maaasikaso!" Reklamo ni Krizzia.

Avis chuckled softly. They ended up inside her clinic because she texted them one by one that she wants tp eat but she can't think of specific food. Kanya kanya tuloy ng dala ang mga ito ng makakain niya. Krizzia was eating the Onigiri with chocolate, mukhang kinulit din si Sakki na gawan ito.

"Don't worry, I know a trusted Ob too and it's a she. Siya rin ang magpapaanak sa akin." She explained to Krizzia.

Wala na siyang pasyente sa hapon kaya tumambay nalang silang lahat sa loob ng clinic niya. She ate all the foods they brought para hindi masayang ang efforts ng mga ito. Good thing, Angel didn't brought the cake she was talking about. Mapipilitan siyang kainin 'yon.

ANOTHER week passed. Her father finally convinced her mother to visit her and to have dinner with Caleb's family. Pumayag siya sa gusto ni Rayleigh na sa dating bahay nalang ng mga ito sila mag d-dinner. Kahit anong suyo ng Papa ni Caleb, hindi bumibigay si Rayleigh.

Her parents arrived yesterday. Nag offer pa ang mama ni Caleb na sa bahay nalang sila nito tumuloy, her father firmly says no and that they will stay in Walter's Hotel.

"Tita, hindi ka po ba naaawa kay Tito?" She asked. They're now cooking for their dinner.

Dito na siya umuuwi sa lumang bahay nina Caleb para may kasama ito.

Caleb's mother snorted. "Why would I? Naawa ba siya sa akin noong pinagsasabihan ako ng masama nung mga bruhilda niyang pinsan at mga pamangkin? Pati anak ko idinadamay?" She asked her and Avis was hesitant to nod or shake her head. "Hindi diba? Bahala siyang magdusa. Even his son doesn't listen to him anymore."

It was true. Caliber and Caleb left their house and live with their mother.

Nang tinanong niya si Caliber kung bakit nila iniwan ang Papa nila doon, ang sagot lang nito sa kanya deserve daw ng papa nila. Ganoon din kay Caleb. They're both rebelling against their father.

"Kailan mo po ba mapapatawad si Tito?" Avis asked again while preparing the dining table.

She smiled at her, "maybe if he'll admit that he's wrong? I didn't spend too much of his money, besides I have shares in our hospital's. Ang hirap talaga kapag hindi nakahiwalay ang pera mo sa pera ng asawa mo. Pero dahil anak ko naman ang magiging asawa mo, I'm 101 percent sure na hindi ka magkakaproblema."

"Good evening Ma! Papa's outside." Caleb announced and walk towards her to give her a kiss. He looks worned out as usual. Pero napaka gwapo pa rin nito.

"Take a shower first, hnm?" She whispered and pushed him lightly. Amoy hospital ito.

Wala naman nagawa si Caleb kung hindi ang sumunod sa kanya. Avis watched him walking upstairs. Good thing, kahit palagi itong puyat nakukuha pa rin nitong kumain ng tama. Thanks to Yves, his friend.

"Rayleigh..." Napangiti si Avis nang masuyong hinalikan ng papa ni Caleb ang mama nito. Avis was like watching a dram up close because of the middle aged couple in front of her.

"What a scene!" Sabay silang napalingon sa pintuan nang marinig ang boses ng mama niya. "Bruha! Akala ko ba wala ang asawa mo rito? Ano 'yan?" Avis pursed her lips when her mother looked at Caleb's father, her eyes were sporting disgust.

"Ma, that's enough." Suway niya at nilapitan ang mga ito. "I'm glad you're here." She smiled and kissed her mother cheeks, ganoon ang ginawa niya sa papa niya.

"No! Sino ang may sabi na rurupok ako sa isang 'to ngayon? Pagkatapos ako sigawan at ang mga anak ko?" She turned to Rayleigh who pushed her husband.

Caleb's father groaned. "Rayleigh, I'm sorry. I really am! And it was our son's fault that why I yelled at them!"

"It was what?! Our son's fault?! E 'yung mga pamangkin mo? Kailan magkakasala sa paningin mo ha?!" Gigil na sigaw nito. Avis didn't know what to do, good thing Caleb arrived and greeted her parents first, bago nito awatin ang mga magulang.

"Pinaalis ko na sila sa bahay." Avis saw Caleb's mother stop glaring at her husband when she heard those words. "Tanungin mo pa ang anak natin." He pouted his lips like he's pointing his son, Caleb.

"That's enough. Nakakahiya na, we're in front of my future in-laws!" Caleb hissed.

"Sanay na 'yan sa amin. 'Diba Veronica?" Nakangising tanong ng Papa ni Caleb na ikinataas ng kilay ng mama niya.

"Sino ka? Kilala ba kita?" Sarkastiko na balik tanong ng mama niya.

Tumabi sa kanya si Caleb. His arm wrapped around her waist, they're both watching their parent's argued like they were some kids. Ang papa naman niya ay tahimik lang sa tabi at minsan naman ay kinakalma ang mama niya.

Mas lalo pa silang gumulo sa hapag kainan nang dumating ang kapatid ni Caleb na si Caliber, her mother started to pair them again that made her blood boils. Kung hindi lang hawak ni Caleb ang kamay niya at marahan na pinipisil 'yon, hindi siya kakalma.

NATAPOS din ang magulo at maingay nilang hapunan. They didn't talk about the wedding while they're eating, because Avis mother and his father was arguing again, plus she's insisting that she wanted Caliber for Avis.

"Tita, don't be too harsh on my brother. He's good. I promise, kapag nagloko 'yan ako mismo ang magtatali sa kanya." Natatawang sabi ng kapatid niya.

He rolled his eyes. Hinayaan nalang niya ang kapatid at nanay na i-endorso siya sa magulang ni Avis.

His father and Avis father surprisingly clicked. They're both talking about their future wedding, kung saang church gaganapin at kung ilang apo ang gusto ng mga ito. From time to time, Avis father kept on glancing at him.

"I'm just going to talk to your father," he whispered to Avis and kissed her temple.

Lumipat siya ng upuan at tumabi sa tatay ni Caleb.

"Sir." He greeted, smiling a little.

"If you're going to promise me that you will take care and love my daughter for the rest of your life, prove it to me, young man. I don't need promises." He smiled at him and tapped his shoulder. "It's better if you start calling me 'Papa' from now on."

Nakahinga siya ng maluwag. Now he only have one problem. Avis mother.

"Oo na, Caleb! Okay na! Tanggap ko na!" Nagulat siya dahil sa sinabi ng mama ni Avis. He raised his brow and looked at Avis, questioning her.

"I told Tita that you will be a pediatric surgeon soon. Works like a charm!" Caliber playfully said. Napailing siya sa kapatid.

"Looks like we're settled here!" Avis cheerfully beamed. "I have some announcement!"

Umangat ang kilay niya. They all looked at him like he knew something to her so called announcement. Caleb raised both of his hands and shrugged his shoulders. Wala siyang alam.

"What is it love?" He asked her. Getting curious to her announcement too.

"Mahal?" Avis called and he hummed. Looking at her with curiosity. "Buntis ako." Avis happily said.

Two words. Two words was enough to lose his shits and made his mind blank.

"Oh shit..." He hissed. He was loosing his head.

Caleb saw Avis smiling sweetly at him. His brother congratulating him for being a sharp shooter, dahil nabuntis daw agad nito si Avis. His mother was crying and her mother was scolding him.

"I'm going to be a father..." He whispered.

Caleb felt a liquid coming out from his eyes. He's going to be a father soon! Tumayo siya at nilapitan si Avis, he burried his face on her neck and cried in so much happiness.

"A baby... Love, we're going to be a parents!"
