TAHIMIK LANG si Vyrlle habang kumakain sila ng dinner. Her heart was racing and she can't explain how her heart flutters every time na nahuhuli niyang nakatingin sa kanya si Light.

Light chuckled, causing her to lift her head.

"What?" Kabado niyang tanong dito.

"Don't think too much, Sunshine. We'll take it slow,hm?" Light smiled and reach for her head, napasimangot siya nang ginulo nito ang buhok niya.

Si Light ang nag asikaso sa anak niya, habang siya naman ang nagligpit at naglinis ng pinagkainan nila. Ever since, he was good at taking care of kids. Siguro dahil ito lagi ang nagbabantay kay Grex noon. Mas marami itong experience kumpara sa kanya.

Matiim niyang tiningnan ang anak nang makita kung gaano kahigpit ang yakap nito sa leeg ni Light habang hinehele siya nito. Like mother, like daughter.

His father likes to tell her story back when she's still learning how to play his favorite game.

"Hey," Light called her attention. "Dito na lang kayo matulog, I already prepare a sleepwear for you. Tulog na rin si Luca sa taas."

"Iniwan mo?" Natataranta na tanong niya. Agad siyang nagpunas ng mga kamay.

"No worries, may crib siya sa taas." Tumaas ang sulok ng labi nito at nagtaas baba ang kilay.

"Kinuha mo yung crib sa bahay? How?" Sunod sunod na tanong niya rito.

Light shook his head, "no, I bought a new one."

Napatanga si Vyrlle sa sagot nito.

"Go, freshen up and rest after." Utos nito sa kanya.

Vyrlle's cheeks turned red when Light held her shoulders and guided her to walk.

"What about you?" Tanong ni Vyrlle.

Tinuro ni Light ang sala at nakita niya ang mga nakakalat na gamit nito doon. Papers, pencils, and everything that he needs. Ngayon lang din niya napansin na may naka set na drafting table at chair.

"May tatapusin lang ako," he answered.

Napansin din niya na may isang unan at comforter na nakapatong sa mahabang sofa. He'll probably sleep late.

"Hindi ka sa kwarto mo matutulog?" She asked, to made sure.

Bahagya na umiling si Light. He even scratch his temple.

"No," he simply answered.

Vyrlle hardly gulped and showed him a sweet smile to hide the disappointment she's feeling. She dreamt of sleeping beside him after work. But it seems to her that he's preventing it from happening.

"Alright! Thanks," she said and turned her back on him.

Nagmamadali siya na umakyat papunta sa kwarto nito. Marahas siyang bumuntong hininga ng may maalala siya. Light with Vyel. Sleeping on the same bed. They probably done it a lot of times before Vyel even started working.

Fuck! I'm jealous.

Her lips parted a little when she saw his room. Nagmukha itong nursery room dahil sa dami ng mga teddy bears at iba pang laruan na nakakalat sa paligid ng crib ni Vystrelle.

"The hell, hindi pala dapat ako sa ex niya nagseselos." Vyrlle uttered and gently massaged the bridge of her nose.

Her little Luca… Ilang araw pa lang niya itong iniiwan kay Light, mukhang spoiled na spoiled na ito.

The bed smells like him. It was addicting. Nangingiti na niyakap niya ang unan nito at doon ibinaon ang mukha niya, hanggang sa hindi na niya namalayan na nakatulog na pala siya.

NAKATUON ang buong atensyon ni Light sa trabaho niya. Knowing that his two little sunshine were both sleeping in his room, his heart can't take it. Para na itong sasabog sa sobrang saya.

"I need to work hard…" he uttered to himself.

He wanted to spoil them. Give them everything that he can offer.

Binitawan niya ang lapis na hawak niya nang marinig na tumunog ang cellphone nito. A conference call from his friends. Mukhang hindi lang siya ang absent sa inuman.

"Yow!" Light greeted and playfully wink.

They all looked sober, but it was all fake. They're just starting to get crazy. Napailing na lang siya nang makita na nakahiga na sa counter ng mini bar si Mikael.

"Saan ka?" Tanong niya kay Laur, silang dalawa lang ang wala sa Lust community.

[Honeymoon. 'Wag ka mag alala, uuwi rin ako sayo,] he answered, gusto niyang masuka sa landi ng boses nito.

Ngumisi siya kay Laur at ipinakita ang gitnang daliri nito.

"Maayos naman kami, salamat!" Light playfully answered. Jyrelle rolled his eyes and the next thing he knew, nawala na ang mga ito sa conference call. It was just him and Laur. "What happened?" He asked.

Laur shrugged his shoulders and smirked at him. [You pissed him off. That's what happened.]

Natatawa na lang siya at pinatay ang tawag. He won't disturb Laur, lalo na at nasa honeymoon stage pa ang mag-asawa.

A few minutes later. Yves messaged him. Sinisisi siya nito sa kahibangan ni Jyrelle.

Yves: Binato niya ang bote sa TV. Don't forget to change it.

Light: Kunin niyo na lang yung TV sa bahay ko.

Hindi rin naman 'yon nagagamit. He was planning to change his house interior design, especially his sala…

Kinagat niya ang pang ibaba na labi at naiiling na pinatay ang cellphone niya at basta na lang 'yon ibinato sa sofa. He doesn't need any distraction.

Inabot siya ng madaling araw sa ginagawa niya. One bottle of beer was enough to energize him, so he can finish his work. He sighed and looked at his mess. It was a lot messier now than before, when he was still a student.

His head was aching, but when his gazed caught the time from his wall clock. Hindi siya nagdalawang isip na ipaghanda ng almusal ang dalawang tao na importante sa kanya.

Light cooked a simple meal for Vyrlle and prepared mashed sweet potatoes for their little sunshine.

After that, inayos niya ang mga nakakalat na gamit niya sa sala. He rolled his finished works and put inside the storage tube.

The amount of money he spent to do his job. Napailing na lang siya. His father will smack him for sure, lalo na at kumpleto ang mga gamit nila sa trabaho, sa opisina at maski sa bahay nila.

Light stretched his body, bago siya kumportable na humiga sa sofa. Wala pa na isang minuto na naipikit niya ang mga mata, he heard someone footsteps, umayos siya ng higa. His breathing wasn't stable.

"So handsome," he heard Vyrlle uttered. And felt the tip of her finger tracing his nose. "I know you're still awake, Luca. Have some rest, gigisingin kita mamayang lunch." Vyrlle said.

He almost opens his eyes but a soft kiss on his forehead stops him. How can a simple gesture make his heartbeat stop for a few seconds? How can a simple gesture from Vyrlle make him lose his mind?

And more importantly, how can a soft voice that wasn't her mother's voice put him to sleep?

"Sleep tight, Luca…" Light heard Vyrlle whispered as she softly combed his hair using her fingers.

VYRLLE placed a soft kiss on his forehead again when Light finally slept. Nakaayos na ang mga gamit nito, however, sleeping on the sofa looks uncomfortable for him.

"I'll ask him next time to sleep beside me," she uttered.

Habang hindi pa gising ang anak niya, kumain na siya at nagluto para sa lunch nilang tatlo. Vyrlle already learned how to manage her time while Vystrelle was still fast asleep.

She also cleaned his house, particularly his room. Inayos niya ang mga nakakalat na laruan at tinabi ang mga 'yon sa sulok. After that, nang magising ang anak niya, ito naman ang inasikaso niya.

"Good morning, did my baby slept well?" Nakangiti na tanong niya sa anak at kinarga ito. "Dada made a mashed potatoes for you, want to eat?"

Her baby sunshine clapped her hands and giggled.

Vyrlle tied her daughter not so thick hair first before going down. Tumaas ang kilay niya nang makita sa kusina si Light at nagkakape na.

"Ilang oras pa lang ang tulog mo," sita niya rito.

Binaba ni Light ang tasa na hawak nito at kinuha si Vystrelle sa bisig niya, he even kissed her daughter's cheek.

"Morning," he greeted and reach for her chin. "My body clock is fucked up." Dahilan nito sa kanya.

Si Light na ang nagpakain kay Vystrelle habang siya naman ay ipinaghahanda na ito ng makakain. He looks tired but his smile never leave his lips.

"I'm sorry, late ka na sa trabaho…" Light trailed off.

Bumaba ang tingin niya sa suot na damit. Nasanay na siya na kahit nasa bahay lang ay pang alis ang suot niya, thanks to Dania's fashion sense. Akala ba nito ay papasok siya sa trabaho?

"Day off ko," she answered.

Light face lit up. "Really? Then… Date tayo?" He asked.

"Kanino natin iiwan si Luca?" She asked.

Light looked at her, confused. "Sunshine, hindi tayo aalis na hindi kasama ang bata." He answered her. Vyrlle lips parted.

"So, it's like a family date?" Vyrlle asked.

Hindi nakatakas sa paningin niya ang pasimple na pag ngiti ni Light. "Family date it is,"

Instead of going out, they spend their whole day inside his house, eating, playing with Vystrelle, talking randomly, and watching movies. A kind of date that they both enjoyed.

"Jillian was still bragging about my cousin," pagrereklamo niya kay Light nang mabasa ang message ni Jillian sa kanya.

Hindi pa kasal ang mga ito pero nauna na ang honeymoon.

"Jealous?" Light asked, chuckling.

Vyrlle grimaced and shook her head. There's now way she'll be jealous of her friend, and her twin. She's already happy and contented with what she has.

"Kuntento na ako sa kung ano ang meron ako ngayon," she answered. Light raised his brows, as if he's asking her what are those…

Umiwas siya ng tingin at binigay ang buong atensyon niya sa natutulog na anak. After playing nonstop with them, sa wakas ay napagod din ito. They're watching an animated movie that was good for Vystrelle.

Nahigit ni Vyrlle ang hininga ng abutin ni Light ang kamay niya. Her eyes were intently watching his every move, how he intertwined their hands together. She gulped hardly when Light raised her hand, tsaka 'yon dahan dahan na dinala papunta sa mga labi nito, kissing the back of her hand repeatedly.

"Thank you…" Light uttered, looking straight to her eyes.

"For what?" she breathlessly asked.

He smiled and his thumb caressed her hand, "for making me feel this way. I thought I would never have the chance to feel what love is. For making me happy with just a simple smile from you." Light lovingly said.

Umawang ang mga labi niya. Vyrlle wanted to answer but she couldn't find her own voice, she was just staring and admiring Light's features.

"May sasabihin ako,"

"A-ano?" Vyrlle stammered.

Light kissed the back of her hand again, pagkatapos ay bahagya itong umusog para maabot ang natutulog niyang anak.

"I'll do everything for you and our little sunshine here,"

Her eyes widened when Light dipped his head and pressed his lips against hers.

"I love you," he whispered in between their parted lips.
