Shoyo was still sleeping peaceful until someone had to ruin it!

Inuoka pours water on Shoyo making Shoyo jump up from surprise. He then looks at Inuoka with a tired angry look.

"Good morning Shoyo!!! It's time to go to school now!" Inuoka grins.

".......Sou-chan....Can you like....Not do that...." Shoyo said as he wipes his face.

"Sorry about that Shoyo!! But I can't help it! Its really funny to see your reaction when you wake up like that" Inuoka chuckles.

"And now your just bullying me." Shoyo frowns.

"Can't you just like.....Pinch me or something...?"

"That's a great idea! Then I'll pinch you next time!"

Inuoka then gets Shoyo ready. After that they went downstairs and Shoyo ate his breakfast as Inuoka waits for him to finish. Mama Fuyumi already packed Shoyo's stuff so Inuoka wouldn't have to do it.

Then they went to school after they waved goodbye to Natsu and Mama Fuyumi.

"Let's hurry up Shoyo because we have morning practice!"

"And also! I heard that we will be having another practice game! But I'm still not sure...."

"I don't know what team we will be playing with, I only just heard this from Coach when he was talking with someone on the phone."

"I wonder if they are strong...I wanna try and block their Ace's spike....."

"Shoyo????...."

"Shoyo! Are you listening???"

Inuoka looks at his side and realizes Shoyo wasn't walking beside him, Inuoka starts to panic and starts looking around him.

He then spots Shoyo in the distance walking so slowly than usual. He then ran towards Shoyo.

"Shoyo! Are you alright?? Is your ankle still not healed??" Inuoka asked worriedly.

Shoyo shakes his head no.

"Then what's wrong??? Could it be that....." Inuoka slows his pace and looks at Shoyo.

"Are you in your lazy cycle today??"

"...What the hell is that....." Shoyo side glances Inuoka.

"You are! Oh gosh........This is gonna be troublesome..." Inuoka sighs helplessly.

Shoyo: ".......?"

"Sorry we are late for morning practice!!" Inuoka shouted as he opens the gym doors.

"It's alright! We still have an hour." Kai said with a reassuring smile.

"What happened tho?? Inuoka would never make themselves late, so this is the first." Yaku looks at them with a raised eyebrow.

"Well.....Actually...." Inuoka looks at Shoyo who was dozing off.

"Did something happen to Shoyo?" Kenma suddenly asked.

"No no! He's alright! Its just......"

"He's what?" Teshiro tilts his head.

Everyone in Nekoma was waiting for Inuoka to answer their question.

"Soo.....Shoyo always have this...This days or months where he is more lazy than usual......And I call it, Shoyo's Lazy Cycle."

"Oya? So does that mean, he will be even more lazy than his usual lazy attitude, and he will be more troublesome to take care?" Kuuro points out.

"Yes....Thats why we were late for todays morning practice.....Shoyo was just walking too slow.....TOO slow.....So sorry about that." Inuoka scratches his head as he apologizes.

"It's alright! We understand!" Kuuro did his chesire cat smile.

"So Hinata can also be like this huh, and here I thought he couldn't get more lazy." Yaku weatdrops.

"Well your wrong." Kenma said as he looks at Shoyo.

"Right now he's just super duper ultra super mega lazy today. And maybe tomorrow as well." Fukunaga said.

"So you DO talk.....You should talk more bro!" Yamamoto said.

"I'll try my best." Fukunaga nods. (Manju: THAT IS MAH BOI RIGHT THERE! 😭)

Shoyo then suddenly falls forward, but luckily Inuoka was able to catch Shoyo safely and prevented him from falling to the floor.

"Woah!" Yamamoto exclaimed in surprise.

"Th..That was close...." Shibayama sighs in relief.

Inuoka looks at the sleeping Shoyo and sighs.

"That scared me.." Yaku touches his chest as he sighs.

Kenma also sighs in relief. And Kai almost stopped breathing for a second there.

"You should just let chibi-chan sleep for today" Kuuro said as he points at a nearby bench.

"Alright...Thanks Kuuro-senpai!"

Inuoka bows his head and carries Shoyo to the bench and places him down gently. And of course! He didn't forget to put a soft pillow underneath his head! Where did he get the pillow???? Well.....He always carries it around so if Shoyo happens to sleep and all that, he could use that pillow.

"Then let's all continue the practice since we still have a few minutes left!" Kai shouted and everyone replied with "Osu!!"

"I'm the one who's supposed to say that tho, since I'm the Captain...." Kuuro mumbles as he sighs helplessly.

After the morning practice Inuoka carries Shoyo to their classroom while talking to Shibayama and Teshiro.

When Teshiro arrived at his class he said goodbye to his friends and went inside.

Now its Inuoka, Shoyo, and Shibayama left walking to their classroom.

"I heard theres a transfer student!" Shibayama suddenly said to Inuoka.

"A transfer student??? At this time?" Inuoka tilts his head.

"Yep! He's really tall! I saw."

"I wonder what club he'll join." Inuoka thought.

After all the chatting they finally arrived at their classroom and sat on their seats.

Shoyo was still asleep, and the Teacher still hasn't arrived yet so Inuoka let Shoyo sleep until the Teacher arrives.

"I wonder how Hinata can sleep so easily on a hard bench to being carried uncomfortably....." Shibayama sweatdropped.

"He's used to it!" Inuoka smiles.

"Must be hard for him." He chuckles nervously.

The Teacher then finally arrived and started class.

Lunch Time

"Finally!!~ I'm so hungry!!" Shibayama said while patting his tummy.

"Same to me as well....That lesson felt soooo long! Even tho its not!" Inuoka stretches his whole body as he said that.

"Shoyooo~ let's go to the cafeteria!" Inuoka shakes Shoyo who was trying to sleep but can't.

"....Alright.."

Shoyo sighs as he stood up and walked ahead of them. Inuoka and Shibayama looked at each other and just followed Shoyo.

"Your walking by yourself Shoyo! I'm so proud!" Inuoka exclaimed while crying fake tears.

"..Shut up Sou-chan....."

"This is a surprise, I've never seen Hinata walk by himself without the help of Inuoka" Shibayama said.

"....Shut up too Shibayama.......I can walk.."

"Yes yes~" Shibayama smiles cheekily.

"But isn't Shoyo in his lazy cycle today???"

"He'll get lazy again later." Inuoka said.

*Bumping into someone sound effects*

"Uwah!! Sorry! I didn't see you there!" A guy shouted and apologized.

Shoyo who was on the floor then suddenly lays down on the ground with a long sigh.

"U-uhmmm....."

"Don't worry! He's alright! He's just too lazy to stand now, haha!" Inuoka laughs as he carries Shoyo so easily.

"Oh! Alright then!" The guy sighs in relief.

"Lev! Geez there you are......Hn? Oh, Hi guys" Teshiro waves at his friends.

"Yooo Teshiro!" Shibayama smiles.

"You know them Teshiro???" Lev asks.

"Yeah, their my friends and are in the same club as me." Teshiro explained.

"Ohhhhhhhh" Lev nods in understanding and suddenly looks back at Shoyo who was dozing off.

"Could you be the transfer student??" Inuoka asks curiously.

"Yep!! Nice to meet you guys! I'm Lev Haiba! I'm half russian!" Lev enthusiastically introduced himself.

"Nice to meet you Haiba-kun! I'm Sou Inuoka! This guy that I'm carrying is Shoyo Hinata" Inuoka bows his head.

"I'm Yuki Shibayama! Nice to meet you Haiba!" Shibayama smiles.

"Nice to meet you guys as well! And also please call me Lev"

"Okay then Lev! So....I have a question, Do you speak russian??" Inuoka asks as he tilts his head.

"No actually! I may be half russian but I've lived in Japan for all my life!" Lev said with a laugh.

"Ahhhh I see."

"Sou-chan I'm hungry." Shoyo said with a small pout.

"Ah! Sorry Shoyo! Well then, we will be going to the cafeteria, do you guys wanna join us??" Inuoka smiles.

"Sure!!" Lev enthusiastically agreed.

"I plan on doing that from the start." Teshiro laughs.

The guys then went inside the cafeteria and started picking out their lunch and sat on an empty table.

"So, Lev. What club are you joining??" Asked Inuoka while feeding Shoyo.

Lev was looking at the two in confusion as he answers "I'm not really sure....."

"Oh! How about you join the Volleyball Club like us!" Shibayama exclaimed with a smile.

"Volleyball?"

"Yep! It's really fun! And!!! You also get to hang out with us more!" Teshiro points out with a grin.

"Ohhh!!! Okay! I'll join then!" Lev nods his head and started eating his lunch.

"Now that I took a closer look at you.....When you stand, your pretty tall" Inuoka said as he observes Lev.

"Haha yep! I just grew a centimeter today by the way!" Lev proudly brags.

"Ohh! Cool!"

"Heyyy! Stop talking about height! We short guys have feelings you know?!" Shibayama said as he points at the two of them with a frown.

"Huh?? Why? You haven't grown taller yet??" Lev asks.

"This is a slow process!!" Shibayama shouted.

"You'll probably won't grow taller than any of that haha" Lev laughs.

"You make me mad!!" Shibayama grits his teeth while Teshiro pats his shoulder to calm him down.

"You guys are so noisy its annoying. The cafeteria is already so noisy and you guys made it worst......" Shoyo said as he covers his ears.

"Ah! Sorry Shoyo!" Inuoka apolagizes.

"Yeah, Sorry about that Hinata.."

"Mhmm, We're sorry"

Lev intensely looks at Shoyo which made him feel uncomfortable.

"What....?"

"Oh, It's nothing its just......." Lev pauses as he looks at Shoyo up and down.

"Your really tiny" Lev said as he brings his index finger and thumb together but is not touching.

Shoyo: "....................."

He inhale and exhales.

"As much as I hate it when people call me tiny, short, or small...........I am just too lazy to throw a fit today, so consider yourself lucky."

"Ah, okay then?.." Lev said in a confused tone.

"...Wow......Hinata just said such a long sentence.....This is the first...." Shibayama sweatdrops.

"Yeah.." Teshiro agrees.

"Alright alright! Thats enough! Lets all just hurry up and eat because lunch is almost over!" Inuoka claps his hands with a smile as he said that.

"Yes sir!" Shibayama and Teshiro salutes.

"Don't do that, I'm not a sergeant."

"HELLO SENPAI'S!!! A NEW MEMBER IS GONNA BE JOINING TODAY!" Inuoka shouted as he opens the gym doors.

"Oya? Oya?? We have another member!" Kuuro smiles.

"ANOTHER KOUHAII!!!" Yamamoto exclaimed happily.

"SHUT UP!!! YOUR SO LOUD!" Yaku kicks him on the back.

"OWWIE!"

"Lev! Come on! Introduce yourself" Shibayama pushes Lev inside.

"Hello!!! My name is Lev Haiba!! I'm half russian! And my height is 194cm!!" Lev shouted excitedly.

"Wow, your so tall" Fukunaga said.

"Haha yup! I grew a centimeter today by the way!" Lev proudly brags.

"Not that again!" Shibayama grits his teeth.

"Shoyo." Kenma called.

"Hi...Kenma..." Shoyo tiredly replied from Inuoka's back.

"Are you okay?"

"...Tired." Shoyo yawns as he rests his head on Inuoka's shoulder.

"GRRR!! INUOKA IS SO LUCKY HE GET TO BE SO CLOSE TO HINATA!!" Yamamoto whisper yelled while biting a handkerchief.

"Yeah." Fukunaga nods.

"What's your position by the way Lev?" Kai asks.

"Position??? Whats that??" Lev looks at him in confusion.

"Do you even know how to play volleyball??" Kuuro sweatdropped.

"I used to when I was a kid!" Lev raises his hand up as he said that.

"Let's just let him do all the positions and we'll see what fits him best." Yaku said woth crossed arms.

"Great Idea Yaku-gun!!" Kuuro thumbs up.

"Your just too stupid to think of any ideas." Yaku coldy said to him.

"YAKU-GUNNNN!!!" Kuuro cries.

"Alright then! Firstly you'll do recieving!" Kai said to Lev.

"Recieving?? Okay then!" Lev nods his head.

Lev, Yaku, Kenma and Yamamoto went to the court after their warm up.

"I'll demonstrate it first so you'll have a rough idea on how to do it." Yaku said as he positions himself.

"Okay!!"

"BRING IT YAMAMOTO!!"

"YES SIRRR!!!!"

Yamamoto runs towards the net and Kenma sets it with a groan. And Yamamoto spiked it towards Yaku who recieves it perfectly.

"WOOOWWW!!! AMAZING!" Lev claps his hands.

"Hmph! Of course!" Yaku smugly smiles.

"Even tho your so short and all that! Your pretty strong!!" It seems Lev wants to die in early age.

"What did you say?.." Yaku looks at Lev with an intense glare making Lev's legs tremble a bit.

"U-u-u-u-uhhhmmmm......"

"Now he's dead." Fukunaga said.

"Rest in piece kouhai!" Yamamoto brings his hands together as well as Fukunaga.

"Dumb."

"Dumb as hell." Kenma shakes his head.

Inuoka covers his mouth. "I can't help you Lev.....I'm sorry!"

"Now face the wrath of our scary Momma!" Kuuro suddenly said with a smile towards Lev.

"I'M NOT YOUR MOM!" Yaku screamed.

Teshiro and Shibayama prays for Kuuro.

"*sigh*.....How chaotic" Kai chuckles.

"...It's annoying." Shoyo said who is just laying down, his head on Kai's lap.

"Then I shall cover your ears then" Kai uses his big hands and covers Shoyo's small ears.

"......I can still hear them..."

"Oh...Hahaha"

Just as Kai was about to take his hands back, Shoyo grabs it.

"..But don't remove your hands......It feels nice.." Shoyo said with a small smile as he closes his eyes.

Kai: "........................."

'WAIT!! WHAT?? HUH??? OH! OKAY! UHHM.....UHHH.....MY HEART....MY HEART IS BEATING SO FAST!!'

Kai cries inside, but secretly enjoys their short moment. This is a very rare moment, so he'll treasure it very much.
