"One two three four five six seven eight, eight seven six five four three two one."

The Nekoma boys Volleyball club were currently stretching. Just look how flexible they are! They really live up to their names as Nekos!

"One two three four five six seven eight"

"Eight seven six five four three two one!"

Everyone stopped as they finally stood up from the floor. While Shoyo, of course stayed. He looked up at the ceiling in daze as he was distracted from his thoughts.

Everyone in the team noticed Shoyo's dazed look.

"Hey...Whats wrong with Hinata??" Yamamoto asked Inuoka.

Inuoka shrugged helplessly. He also doesn't seem to know. But he told Yamamoto that Shoyo has been like this when he watched anime for the first time.

"Wait what?? Shoyo never watches anime???" Lev was shocked! How come?! Anime is very popular in Japan! Anime is EVERYWHERE! Wherever you go, you see a character from some anime!

Inuoka explained. "Well, his sister made him watch Sailor Moon. And since then he was distracted from his thoughts."

"I wonder what he's thinking with that pretty brain of his.." Kuroo can't help but say. "How I wish I can read minds"

"Don't wish for something like that. You wouldn't like hearing our thoughts." Yaku said with a scary grin.

Kuroo sweatdrops while laughing awkwardly. "Hahaha....Y..Yeah..."

"Shoyo." Kenma called out as he sat on the floor near Shoyo.

Shoyo finally came back to earth and moved his head towards Kenma. "...Kenma?"

"What are you thinking?" Wow! Straight to the point!

Shoyo opened his mouth, but closed it again....He pursed it and finally refused to answer. Making Kenma confused.

Shoyo never hesitates to say anything....Why now? Just what is he thinking about???

"You can tell us anything Hinata!" Shibayama said loudly!

"Yeah kouhai! Don't be shy!" Yamamoto supported.

Fukunaga also sat near Shoyo. "Whats in your mind?"

Shoyo lowered his eyelids as he felt hesitant to tell. And when he finally made up his mind to speak, he was quickly reminded of something and then Shoyo turned red.

All of his teammates were even more curious because of Shoyo's reaction!

"Wait....Could it be—" Kai was interrupted by Yamamoto.

"—Dont tell me Hinata likes someone?!" Yamamoto exclaimed in shock! "Hinata! My kouhai! Your still far too young!"

"...What" Yaku looked at Yamamoto weirdly. If Shoyo wanted to date, then he can!.....Only if its himself though.

Shoyo pulled himself up and sat. Then he quickly shook his head as he looks down at his lap.

"Tell us Shoyo, whats wrong..?" Inuoka helplessly asked.

"........." Shoyo lowered his eyelid...Then he raised his head up to look at his teammates. Then he looked at Kuroo.

Kuroo tilted his head and smiled with a question mark ontop of his head. Shoyo remembered something, then he silently went red as smoke appeared.

"WAHH!! HINATA IS BURNING!" Teshiro exclaimed!

"HINATA!!"

Yaku stared at Kuroo and then at Shoyo. "Suspicious...."

"Did something happen between you and Hinata? Kuroo?" Yaku side glanced at the rooster head.

Kuroo flinched at the intense stares from his teammates..."W..Well..."

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO OUR PRECIOUS HINATA?!" Yamamoto yelled as he points at the handsome bed haired male.

"YEAH! WHAT DID YOU DO!" Lev puffed out his chest.

"I really didn't do anything..." Kuroo helplessly scratches his cheek.

"Then whats wrong with Hinata?" Shibayama hummed as he tries to uncover the truth behind Shoyo's behavior!

Whilst all of them tried to figure things out. Shoyo was thinking about the time where he and Kuroo had an indirect kiss, and thats not all! He remembers the time where he got k..kissed on the cheek by Yamamoto and more intimate stuff that has happened to him and his team!

He never realised that they were being so intimate until he watched a romance anime....

Shoyo can't seem to see his teammates the same way! Because all of them basically has hugged and kissed him (on the cheek) before. (Ahem...The KenHina gym scene. Ahem...)

Best friends never do that to each other! Only lovers or family are able to do that!....Shoyo has only known them for more than a month, and he considers them as not close! So, Shoyo only sees them as 'friends'  and not 'close friends'.

Friendship takes a while to form! He and Inuoka was finally considered close friends after 4 years of hanging out with each other. Yeah, it was a long time.

So yeah. Shoyo feels a bit embarrassed and shy towards his teammates now, except for Inuoka of course!

He needs to change some things. Thats because Shoyo takes friendships and relationships very seriously. He doesn't want his friends to get hurt, and he himself as well.

He doesn't want his friends to misunderstand anything till their heart was broken into pieces

So, starting today. He won't get too intimate with his friends.

Shoyo looked at his discussing teammates. He shook his head helplessly and finally gave out a reply. "Its nothing. Just remembered something embarrassing"

"You sure?" Kai asked for confirmation. Shoyo nodded as a reply.

"Well....If you say so..." Yaku said while rubbing his nape.

Kenma stared at Shoyo silently with his cat like eyes. He felt that his Shoyo will get harder to pursue....But thats just his thoughts..

Nekoma went out of their school to do laps around their neighborhood. Kenma and Shoyo wasn't a fan of that....But the only thing they could do was helplessly jog behind their team.

"....Huff...Why do...We huff...Have to jog outside??" Kenma complained.. "Its hot..."

"En.." Shoyo agrees with a deep frown on his face.

"Cause why not??" Says the rooster head Captain with his chesire grin. "You should sometimes experience challenges in life."

"I don't like challenges..." Shoyo muttered.

Kenma panted as he said "I like challenges....But not this..."

"Dont worry! Kuroo-san said that he'll treat us some ice cream after our jog!" Yamamoto declared without asking for Kuroo's opinion.

"What...! I did not..!"

"Yayy!! Ice cream!~" Lev shouted happily.

Inuoka hopped as he jogged. "Ooh!~ I do like some free ice cream!"

"...Guys.." Kuroo sweatdrops...But then he helplessly sighs... "Oh well....Sure...Whatever..."

Shoyo panted as sweat trickled from his forehead. Then suddenly, he saw something from the corner of his eye. He stopped running to stare at it. Shoyo decided to walk towards it because of curiosity.

His team continued to jog, not even realizing that Shoyo disappeared...When Kenma was about to ask Shoyo if he wanted to take a break. Shoyo was already gone.

Kenma widened his eyes. "Shoyo?!"

Nekoma stopped and looked at Kenma.

"Kenma? Whats the matter?" Kai asked worriedly.

"Shoyo..." Kenma started.

Inuoka didn't let Kenma finish and srtarted shouting. "SHOYO?! SHOYO! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

"What?! Hinata is gone again?" Yaku sighed heavily.

Kuroo rubbed his nape as he started to instruct his team. "Lets all split up to find chibi-chan. He should still be close."

"Aye aye!" Yamamoto and Lev saluted. The rest nodded and split up.

"...Where have you gone Shoyo.." Kenma muttered worriedly.

(With Shoyo)

Shoyo peeked through the tight alleyway and saw a shiny thing laying on the ground. He tries to reach for it, but his hand wasn't long enough.

Shoyo was determined to get whatever that is. So he squeezed himself in the tight alleyway.

He reached for the shiny thing once again, and was able to get it! Shoyo was happy from his accomplishment. He looked at it and saw it was just a coin.

Shoyo was disappointed....All that hardwork was for nothing....

Shoyo sighed. He tries to get out of the tight space, but, he was stuck.

"........."

Shoyo wiggled his body, until he stopped because there was just no use...He groaned in annoyance....

'Why am I even here....I shouldn't have stopped jogging...' Shoyo regretted big time..

Shoyo couldn't call for help because his phone is back at the School. He tries to shout, but there was no response.

Shoyo can only wait for someone to pass by to ask for help....

'This is so embarrassing....'

After five minutes. Shoyo heard some faint footsteps coming his way. Shoyo quickly called for them and asked for help.

The footsteps hurriedly went towards him and stopped.

"Hinata?" A familliar voice was heard.

Shoyo can't see the person because his back was facing the guy. "....Can you help me..."

"En." The guy grabbed on Shoyo's shirt, and started to pull. Shoyo also used his leg to push himself out.

The two groaned for awhile until finally! Shoyo popped out of the tight space. The both of them fell on the ground from the impact.

Shoyo raised his head to look at his saviour.

"Sakusa-san?"

Sakusa looked at Shoyo who was sitting on his stomach. "..How did you even get in there?"

"...Well...." Shoyo brought out a coin to let Sakusa see.

Sakusa's eye twitches. "Are you stupid?"

Shoyo frowned. "I'm not"

Sakusa sighed heavily as he sat up and made Shoyo sit on his lap. "Its a good thing I was the one who found you.."

"Or else some random stranger might take advantage of you"

Shoyo tilted his head slightly. "You seem different."

"How so?" Sakusa glanced at Shoyo's face.

"The first time I met you. You were distant and cold. Now, you're very close"

Sakusa widened his eyes as he just realized what position they were in. He quickly stood up and backed away from Shoyo. "......."

"Oh." Shoyo uttered out.

"SHOYOOOO!"

"HINATAAA!!!"

Sakusa and Shoyo turned their heads and saw Inuoka and Lev running towards them. The two jumped on Shoyo and hugged him tightly.

"SHOYOOO!! YOU DISAPPEARED ONCE AGAIN! WHY CAN'T YOU TELL US BEFOREHAND? YOU MADE US WORRY!!" Inuoka cried out.

"Sorry." Shoyo apolagized. He felt bad for making his team worry....

"Hinataaa!!" Lev hiccuped as he sniffled.

"Sorry."

Sakusa coughed on his hand. The three boys looked at Sakusa in confusion.

"Oh, Sakusa-san! Sorry for not noticing you!" Inuoka smiled awkwardly.

Sakusa placed his hand inside his jacked. "Whatever. I'm leaving now." He said and walked away.

"Thanks for helping me Sakusa-san" Shoyo bowed his head slightly.

Sakusa stopped to glance at Shoyo. He simply nodded his head and continued to walk away.

"Help you?? Did something happened Hinata?" Lev asked curiously.

"Well.." Shoyo told them about how he got stuck in a tight alleyway and Sakusa came to help him get out from it.

Inuoka and Lev couldn't help but laugh out loud. They can already imagine it!

"We should get back now....The team is worried sick! Also, prepare for Yaku-san's scolding" Inuoka warned.

Shoyo groaned at that....Well....It is his fault for making his team worry....So Shoyo has no choice but to accept it...
