Acceptance: Stage 2
"What the hell happened?" Captain Magdalene asks angrily from behind her desk.
"I'm sorry, I took my eye off him. I thought he had accepted his situation." Luke says, apologetically.
"And what would've given you that impression? When was the last time Russ accepted anything?" the captain pushes back.
"I know. Like I said, I'm sorry." Luke continues to apologize.
"Any idea where he's going?" questions the captain.
"He was all about his sister's disappearance. I'm guessing we'll find him looking for her." Luke suggests.
The captain turns to the other person in the room, "What's the word on that?"
"We found her car outside the hospital, and it's being looked over for any sign of who might have done this to her. The hospital has agreed to give us any surveillance footage they have although their cameras aren't the best. We're canvasing the local stores to see if we can get anything from them but it's slow going." Elias explains.
"So we have nothing." declares the captain, angrily.
"It's like I said, we're working on it."
Luke chimes in, "His phone."
"What?" questions the captain.
"Martha was given his phone to hold onto while he's in the hospital. As soon as he found out she was missing, he asked for a computer to find his phone." Luke adds, trying to help.
"You think he's going there without any back up?" Elias asks.
The captain interrupts, "It's Russ. You actually think that's even a question?"
"So we'll get a judge to sign off on tracking it and get there first." Elias insists.
"You really think he hasn't thought of that already? He's probably got a work around in place already." The captain pushes back.
"It's all right." Elias reassures his captain, adding, "I know who his supplier is for this type of thing."
"Then what the hell are you still doing here?" The captain pushes.
"On my way." Elias says, heading out of the captain's office.

Lazarus limps his way down the street, watching his phone. Every so often, he looks up to see what's around him, as most of the people in the area ignore him as they continue to watch their phone as they go about their lives. Eventually, he stops in front of a rundown church. He looks down at his phone, then back at the rundown church, and back to his phone. He puts the phone away, looking around to see if anyone else is watching him.
Lazarus starts looking for a way in.
