"Yes it's me nice to meet you again brother in law Fahad "I said with a smile" You son of a b*tch! How dare you come back to Nigeria again?! You are going to face my wrath you will regret ever coming back to Nigeria Kameela call the police! "Fahad yelled"

"K "Kameela answered and was about to ring the Inspector General and unfortunately,I snatched the phone"

"Why is it that you people won't understand that I have changed?! I am a better person now and I came back just because of Layla "I said"

"Gross! You stink! You just finished saying you have changed but you smell like beer and as for Layla,you will never get her back we would not let you be with her "He said covering his nose"

"Since you won't agree then it's okay,I will make sure I get Layla by hook or crook she must be mine! And I have already sent a letter to her that I AM BACK! "I dropped the bombshell and the next thing I heard and saw was a fair hand landing on my cheek"

"How dare you?! Layla can't even remember you for Allah's sake she is suffering from memory loss! And we told her that we don't even know you because she has been saying you name in her nightmares! And now how can we get her to trust us again?! "Fahad roared forgetting that we are at the middle of the road and I just realized it now"

Layla's Pov

"Here Miss Layla "A nurse handed me an iPhone 7 and I gave her a questioning look and she continued"

"He said that I should give it to you he just left now that he sent that letter I brought to you and that if you want to know who he is then you can contact him through this phone their is a SIM card inserted"

"Uhm "I said contemplating on whether to collect it or not but this will be my only chance to know who this so called Al-basheer is and what them Fahad are hiding from me so I collected it cause If I can remember,my phone is home or maybe I dropped it during the accident only god knows"

"After she left,I started dialing the number and my body was shivering as I mistakenly touch the call button and it started ringing and the person answered"

Al-Basheer: Alhamdulillah! Layla I never thought that you will call me

Me:Uhm what are you talking about?

Al-Basheer:Layla please am sorry I now that I don't deserve your sympathy but all I can do is apologize for what I did to you

Me:If I may ask please who are you and what are you talking about and please how did you know my name?

Al-Basheer:Layla it's me your Al-Basheer the love of your life not anymore though,after all I have done to you

Me:Al-Basheer what are you talking about? Please if you may excuse me I need to think

Al-Basheer:Okay Layla safe

Me:Thanks cause right now am suffering from memory loss so I guess you may be in my past

"I hung up and sighed thinking about what he said but what could he have done to me and my family? I have to find out

Aaban's's Pov

"Tasha, I will be back soon okay? "I said as she was weeping"

"Baby do you have to go? Can't we go together?"

"Bye Tasha bye "I said and hopped into my G-wagon then I connected my iPhone 11 pro max to the Bluetooth and Beamer by Rema was blasting from the speakers as I headed to Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport Abuja for my business trip to London"

Al-Basheer's Pov

"I sat down thinking of a plan to emotionally blackmail Layla to come back to me"

"Yes! I have a plan "I smiled and carried my Samsung Galaxy S10+ to call her"

Fahad's Pov

"After my encounter with Al-Basheer I have been feeling so restless and insecure"

"What can we do now since Daddy doesn't care about his own daughter? As her siblings,let's try and help her "Ya Faree said in tears"

"Wallahi when daddy said the "I don't care" part I felt like punching him on his face and that our so called grandmother I will never forgive her "I said"

"You guys enough about them what can we do to save Layla from Al-Basheer? Cause I guess he may trick her into forgiving him and giving him a chance even without remembering him I know Layla like the back of my hand she can easily get emotionally blackmailed "Kameela said"

"Since Layla doesn't remember or even trust us and that fool Aaban I don't even know where he is it's only him she can remember and he is no where to be found since she accepted his dad's proposal for him "Ya Faree said"

"I heard that he travelled for a business trip "I said but my phone beeped and it was a call from the hospital"

Good day sir,we are sorry to inform you but miss Layla just left her room and she is no where to be found

Aloha strawberries! How are you all? How was the chap? So I just decided to update cause I already have the draft anddddd I just wanted to suprise you guys...Who can guess where Layla went to or what Al-Basheer's plans are or even why them Fahad despise him so much
