Layla's Pov

I found out that Ya Kamee is 1 month pregnant and I'm so happy for her

I've been feeling nauseous for the past two weeks and it got worse with all my weird cravings

Could I be pregnant?

No No No not possible!

I have to call the girls over

"Guys uhm I think I'm pregnant"

"Really!? Oh my goodness I'm so happy babe" Fadeela squealed.

"Dumbo! She said that she thinks" Maryam chuckled.

"Okay so do you have the pregnancy test stuff?" Maryam asked.

"Yeah I bought three of them yesterday I wanted to test yesterday but I was too scared" I said.

"Okay you should go on and do it! You need to find out if you're carrying a babyyyyy" Fadeela said.

I nodded and picked up a pack from my closet and sauntered into the toilet

I peed on the stuff and freshened up before walking out of the toilet and kept the test to show the results.

"We should leave it for some minutes" Maryam suggested and we picked up our phones to check out our social media accounts

"It's been 1 minute now let's check it" Fadeela said.

I sighed loudly and motioned for Fadeela and Maryam to check the results

As soon as they set their eyes on the stick,the smile on their faces made my heart swell up

"You're pregnant babe!! Congratulations" Maryam squealed and gave me a bone crushing hug.

"You're expecting a little babyyyy" Fadeela smiled widely and hugged tightly.

"Sooooo how are you gonna tell Aaban?" Maryam asked.

"I don't even know" I shrugged.

"Nah you have to think of a way! I mean he is the father" Fadeela said.

Fadeela called Aeesha and Falisha to tell them about the good news cause Qamrah has been distant lately and she's been acting cold with everyone even her husband

"Congratulations Lay!! I love you so freaking much but I love that baby more" Falisha said.

"Congrats Lay" Aeesha grinned.

"Okay so does Aaban know about this?" Aeesha asked and Falisha and I shared a look.

"No" I answered simply.

Aeesha,Fadeela and Maryam went to the kitchen to prepare something for us while Falisha and I are still in my room

"Falisha do you think that he is going to accept our baby?" I asked.

"Of course since it's his child" Falisha said.

"But since we're not on good terms I don't think that he will ...." She cut me off.

"Laylaaa please quit being a pessimist he will accept it and this baby will bring the both of you closer together for sure!" Falisha grinned.

"Okay I'll tell him tonight" I sighed.

"Okay good!"

"Food for both baby and mama is readyyyy" Aeesha,Maryam and Fadeela said in unison as they walked into my room with a tray.

"Guys you didn't have to do all this you know" I smiled.

"Aw it's nothing" Aeesha said.

I opened the plates and the dishes made my tummy growl loudly

Chicken soup, Chocolate cake,Fried eggs, seasoned boiled potatoes and broccoli

I immediately started eating the boiled potatoes and broccoli

It was soooooo delicious

I took some of the chicken soup and ate the Chocolate cake

"Woah! Did I really eat all of these?" I chuckled.

"That's why you're supposed to be eating for two from now on!" Falisha said.

"Okay your cake" Aeesha said.

I cut out of the Cake and ate a little bit due how sweet it was,I ate half of the cake

We took the dishes downstairs and placed them in the dishwasher before going to the theater room

"Guys lets watch an Indian movie please" I said.

"Okay does it have subtitles?" Fadeela asked checking out the Indian movies CDs'

"Yeah obviously"

"Okay so which one?" Maryam asked.

"I think we should watch EK VILLIAN" Falisha suggested.

"I watched that movie! It's about a guy named Guru and the girl's name is Aisha" Maryam said.

"Yeah we watched it together the movie is really amazing! But at the end Aisha was killed" Fadeela said.

They played the movie and started watching immediately soon,Layla, Aeesha and Maryam started shedding some tears

After the girls left,I decided that it was time to inform Aaban about our child cause he came back from the office and for the last two years he hasn't been himself I mean who buries their head always in files and papers?

I prayed hijab and with my hijab on,I walked to his room with slime legs

I knocked on the door and turned the knob

"Hey" I said.

I noticed that he was on a very serious call and he was wearing an airpod

"Hey" I repeated.

"Hello what's wrong?" He asked.

He seemed to be more interested in his call so I turned to leave.

"No! I'll do it" He yelled and I turned to stare at him.

Is he mad?

"Sorry I wasn't speaking to you" He apologized.

"I want to speak to you about something really important but you're on a call so I'll let you finish" I said.

"No no I'm done" He said.

"Okay" I shrugged thinking that the caller may have disconnected it.

I sighed deeply and practiced what I will say to him before my lips started moving

"I don't know how you're going to take this or how you're gonna react but I'm pregnant" I said and he turned to face me in complete shock which was already written all over his face.

"You mean you are pregnant but how? H-how?"

"What do you mean how? I told you about our child and this is how you're reacting?" I glared.

"And how do you want me to react?" He hissed.

"Look just leave please" He pointed at the door and I looked at him with shock.

"What are you saying?"

"I said that you should leave that child you're carrying is not mine you should go and look for the father!" He spat and I raised my hand and slapped him very hard.

"Are you mad?! Are you crazy! After all that you did to me I was willing to give us a chance for the sake of our baby but you! You ruined everything you're so disgusting and so I'll make the decision to end all of this stupidity" I sniffed.

"Divorce me!" I shouted.

He raised his head sharply and for once in two years,I saw hurt and regret in his eyes

I saw alot of emotions!

"Yes! Divorce me and I'll take care of my child alone and by myself"

"Okay" He said after a very long silence.

The words were coming out forced but he didn't look forced

"Divorce me once,twice and three times I don't care I just want to be out of this so called marriage!" I yelled.

"Na sake ki Na sake ki Nasa ke ki" He uttered.

I felt like ripping my hair off my skin because of his words but why do I even care? I asked for it!

"Thank you and from today onwards you won't have any right over me or my child" I smiled painfully and walked out of his room.

I brought out my biggest suitcase and packed my clothes not all, only the ones that are close to my heart.

I'm going to start a new journey of life and no reason will make me ever go back to Aaban! I promise to never ever go back to this heartless and cruel man

Sup guys! How was the chapter? I really didn't enjoy this chapter at all I mean who would even do so?

Im crying right now I mean they are officially divorced and Layla promised to never go back to him!
