After I finished my breakfast,I headed out of the house to meet Jake leaning on the car staring into a space

"What's wrong? Let's go" I said.

"Good morning ma'am" He smiled and opened the door for me

"Morning" I sat down in the car and continued reading my book.

You're right! We're starting our first semester test

"Uhm ma'am please I'm going to be a little bit late today cause my daughter is sick and I have to take her to the hospital right after I go back to your house" He said.

"Okay Jake,do you need money?" I asked.

"No ma'am I'll manage thank you"

"Are you sure?" I got down from the car as soon as we arrived.

"Yes ma'am, good luck" He said and drove off.

"Lay!!! We've been waiting for you" Cara sighed.

"Sorry guys, let's go"

We arrived at the test hall and sat down in the back.

"I've been reading" Cara said.

"This girl has been reading since 6am" Carina chuckled.

"Woww" I said.

The 13 invigilators came in with alot of papers both question and answer sheets and shared it to each of us.

I prayed and started writing.

1 hour later,

"Phew!! That was a hard one" I said.

"True" Carina said.

"Guys lets go and eat I'm hungry!!" Cara shouted

We ordered a box of pizza with three bottles of fresh orange juice.

"I feel like a new born" I laid my head on Cara laps.

"Get your off my laps I'm really full" She sighed almost crying

"Who said you should eat much?" Carina and I laughed.

"So guys their is something that I want to share with you" I sat down properly.

"What is it?" They chorused.

"I think I love my husband" I said and they stared at me for a while before bursting into fits laughter

What's funny? *Rolls my eyes*

"You mean you didn't love your husband before or what?" Carina asked.

"Exactly" Cara added.

"Okay okay chill actually it was an arranged marriage we had alot of problems I mean alot and we'll,he has a girlfriend that he loves so much" I explained.

"Oh sorry babe we didn't know" Cara said.

"Even if you didn't doesn't mean you can just laugh like that" I feigned with a pout.

"Aww sorry" Carina apologized.

"Guysss it's okay" I said and they smiled.

"Okay so you said he has a girlfriend"

"Yeah" I replied.

"Are you and him atleast friends?" Cara asked.

"Yes"

"Why don't you try and make him fall for you?" Cara added.

"Cause I know that he will never do so he loves another woman and they have already ..." I broke into tears.

"Layyyy it's okay please stop crying it's going to be alright" Carina wiped my tears.

"But Layla you should speak to him and confess your feelings for him you don't know maybe he's gonna accept you"

"I know he won't"

"Gosh! Quit being a pessimist Layla" Cara said.

"I have an idea Lay! You should get close to him and get to know him well you have to be his pillar of strength your shoulder should be the one he should always cry on you know!" Carina explained and I smiled.

"Okay thank you so much guys I'll try"

"Yes and remember in a one sided love,you have to be always optimistic till you make your lover start to have feelings for you as well"

"Guys the next paper is about to start" Our coursemate said and we quickly left.

Some hours later,we finally finished our test for the day by 4 and I was on my way to the parking lot.

"Oops! I remember Jake said that he would be late today"

I called Jake and told him not to come and that I will take a cab home

I walked out of the school gate and kept walking looking for a cab.

I brought out my phone to call Aaban when I realized that my battery is low and the phone is hot.

"Hey miss!" I heard a husky voice shout from behind me.

I  ran as fast as I could but unfortunately it's wasn't just that guy,they were three more

"You thought that you can escape from us? What a pity! Come let's go and party" One of the men said.

"Disgusting" I muttered under my breath.

They started coming closer to me till my back hit the wall of a house.

"Aww she's so pretty even though she's black don't worry were not going to treat you like the slave you are!" One of the men said and they all laughed

When is Racism going to stop!? Your skin color doesn't define you!

He raised his hand and started caressing my face.

"Stop!!" I pushed him away from my body and slapped him very hard.

"Who do you think you are!? How dare you touch my face do you have any shame at all?! I'm a married woman who even cares? In this world people forget that they are married and do both disgusting and shameful things!" I spat.

"You b*tch! Stop acting like a saint cause it doesn't fit you" The guy that I slapped said rubbing his face.

I kept looking at my right and left side deciding on where to go when I felt someone grip my hands

They tied my hands on a tree and played a British song before they kept dancing around the tree

They started tearing my Abaya and I cried out for help but no one was on the streets except the Cab drivers that kept passing and I didn't think they even noticed me

"Oh Allah please help me!" I cried as they yanked off my veil and cap revealing my hair.

"Wow guys it looks like today we are going to have two in one" One of them smirked and they nodded in agreement.

He raised his hand and was about to touch my hair and I closed my eyes tightly waiting for the worst but nothing came instead,I heard sounds of punches

I opened my eyes only to see Aaban

Oh God thank you

The guys ran away and he rushed to my side and untied my hands and I wrapped my arms around his neck and cried

"What if you didn't come? What if they really did what they intended to do? What if ..." He placed his hand on my lips shutting me up.

"Nothing bad is ever going to happen to you as long as I'm alive" He said.

"Let's go" He took off his blazer and put it around my shoulders and took off my Abaya leaving my jeans and short sleeve top.

"Where is Jake?" He asked.

"He said that he was going to be late" I shrugged.

"The audacity! How dare he!? And you allowed him" He said

"He said that his daughter is sick and ...." He cut me off.

"What if something has happened to you? What would I tell everyone? That I hired a lazy driver who keeps getting excuses to rest" He hissed.

"Why do you care?" I asked getting pissed.

"Layla please! Why am I even wasting my time caring for someone who doesn't care for herself?" He stomped out of the car as soon as we arrived.

"Okayyy I shouldn't have asked that question but...  Gosh!" I strolled into the house to my room.

2 hours later,

"Should I apologize? He didn't even eat anything since he came back from the office" I said to myself

I strolled downstairs to the kitchen and decided to cook for him and I prepared Pancakes with strawberry and blueberry toppings and jam with a cup of homemade Grape juice.

I knocked on his door but he didn't answer so I entered without permission and met him reading an Islamic book which has prayers and other things you need to be a better believer

"Assalamualaikum" I said and he turned his head to see the intruder and his face changed to an angry expression immediately.

"Look Aaban,I'm sorry I shouldn't have ...." He cut me off.

"Keep quiet please can't you see that I'm busy here?" He hissed.

"Aaban I'm sorry please forgive me I said what I said earlier out of anger cause those guys pissed me off" I said.

"Hmmm okay" He kept the book aside and faced me.

"What is this?" He asked pointing at the tray.

"Your food,I brought your dinner for you cause you haven't eaten ever since you came back from the office" I sighed.

"Really? How did you know?" He raised his brow and uncovered the plate keeping the tray aside.

"Wow this smells amazing!" He smiled.

"Thank you now open up" I said as I brought the fork to his mouth.

"You think I'm going to let you feed me?" He asked.

"Pleaseeeee for mama" I said quickly and he sighed cause he didn't have any other option

"Ahhh" I fed him the first bite and honestly,the aroma only made my tummy growl loudly.

"Wow this food is amazing and you're also hungry so I'll feed you too" He said and I chuckled.

"Who told you?" I asked.

"Your tummy did"

"Okay but you're not going to feed me if you are full and you remain I'll eat and if you eat all of it I'll make noodles for myself" I shrugged

"Nooo ahhh" He brought the spoon to my mouth.

"Please ..." He shoved the spoon into my mouth

I moaned loudly as the sweet taste spread in my mouth.

"I told you" He said and we finished the pancakes almost immediately

We ended up fighting for the grape juice he took half and I took the other half

I'm glad we're back to normal!

Al-Basheer's Pov

*Smirks*

I hissed loudly before landing two slaps on his face

"Who told you to try and have fun with her!?" I dragged his ear.

"Sir we're really sorry we just wanted to have some fun with her before bringing her to you sir please forgive me" He begged.

"You don't deserve my forgiveness boy!" I held his jaw and pointed the gun at this neck.

"I don't want to kill you cause you've been so hardworking and this is the first time you messed up something but next time I promise if you don't succeed then I'm going to kill you I promise! And you" I turned to Jake who was shaking.

"S-si-sir I did what you asked me to do now please bring back my daughter" He begged.

"The mission wasn't accomplished but as soon as it is,I promise you that I'll bring back your daughter" I said and he nodded.

"Go!" I yelled and he ran out quickly.

"Layla,your husband may have saved you today but the next time,I'll make sure that no one will ever find you cause you're going to marry me and be my wife omg! I can't wait for our first night,it's going to be amazing I promise" I kissed her picture which was framed in a very big frame and is hung in my room.

Sup! Sup! Sup! Sup! Suppppp! How was the chapter? I really give you long chapters this days

I'm spoiling you guys too much this days but you guys are not!
