They buckled their seatbelts as the plane landed in Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport Abuja

"When was the last time I was in Nigeria? Wowww!" Falisha said

"Finnaly I'm home! Home sweet Home" Layla smiled as she saw her fellow Nigerians

They settled down in the Uber cars thay they called and they all headed to Layla's house

"I think I should only inform Ya Fahad" Layla said and picked up her phone

Layla:Heyyy

Him:Hello! Wait! You're in Nigeria

Layla:Yeesss! Please I need you to call Ya Faree and tell her to come over don't tell her I'm here fa

Him:Okay see ya!

2 hours later

The two drivers honked on Layla's house gate and parked in the compound and left.

As they sauntered into the living room,all the peoplemouths were agape

"Yaya Layla!!!" Zee yelled and jumped on her sister

"Zee! Can't breathhh" She broke the hug

"Layla!!!!" Ya Kameela hugged her tight.

"Favorite!!" Both Ya Fareeha and Fahad hugged their sister.

"So we're now invisible" Falisha feigned

"Falisha!" They hugged her.

They exchanged pleasantries with them Fadoul and walked into the house all together

"Kash! I missed you all so much wallahi" Layla said

"I was the only one she told" Fahad bragged

"Why didn't you tell us?" Zee pouted

"If I did then it wouldn't be a suprise anymore" Layla shrugged

They gisted alot with the elders till Uncle Muhammad,Anty Falty,Falisha and Fadoul left.

"Where is my broza in law?" Layla asked about Ya Faree's husband

"He's in their family house fa they called for a meeting and when he left I was sleeping" She hissed

"I can't wait for my niece or nephew" I said

"Wallahi not only you do you know how Ya Faree eats? Hm!" Ya Fahad shook his head which earned him a smack.

"Ya Kamee when is your wedding?" I asked

"Next year April" She blushed

"Awwww!!" We all said and she covered her face.

"Who is shouting like that!?" Their grandma came out looking like a witch.

"You! When did you come here?" She glared at Layla and they all exchanged an eye contact that says 'Just Ignore'.

"Lallai ma this children you have the audacity to ignore me ko?!"

"Granny we're sorry" Ya Faree apologized and they all left the living room for her.

Layla sauntered into her clean and neat room oh how much she misses this room!

"I got someone to arrange it for you" Ya Fahad said

"Awww thanks bro!" I smiled.

I sauntered into my bathroom and took a relaxing shower and dressed up for the walima.

Fahad drove Layla to Qamrah's house where the walima will be taking place.

"Layla! Where have you been!?" An angry Falisha asked.

"Sorry babe let's go to Qamrah" They sauntered into the bride's room.

"Suprise!!" They jumped on Qamrah

"Oh my goodness! I can't believe you guys came!" She wiped fake tears.

"Awww Mrs Fadoul's looking cuteeee" Falisha complimented and Layla nodded.

"Oya stand up let's go and greet our in law" Layla said referring to Qamrah's aunt

"Mama inawuni" I greeted. "Lafiya kalau" She smiled.

"Good Afternoon Mama" Falisha the greeted

"Afternoon my child,you're Fadoul's niece right?" She asked

"Yes and that's Layla my cousin"

"Ohh cousin dinki ce? Nice to meet you Layla" She patted my back.

"Oya you guys should stand up Amarya and bridesmaids are needed downstairs" Someone announced and I adjusted Qamrah's veil as we walked down the stairs.

A woman in her early fifties did the opening prayer and waazi on marriage and other stuff.

After she was done, everyone ate and enjoyed themselves to the brim

"Falisha bye I need to go see you tomorrow night for the dinner"

"Layla please come I want to speak to you" Falisha said

"Sureeee"

"He broke up with me!" She broke down completely

"Innalillahi!" I gasped.

"Y-yes he told me that he loves another person that I'm too dry and it all started when we went out and he tried to kiss me but I refused" She wiped her tears.

"That guy is so shameless after all the love! You guys dated for 2 years fa!" I said

"You should go I'm sure your husband is waiting for you"

"No Lisha,I will stay with you for the night" I said

"What are you saying Layla? Your husband is probably waiting for you yalla go now" Anty Falty said.

"But ...."

" No buts my child" She patted my back

I sighed in defeat and looked at Falisha

"I'll come early in the morning InshaAllah kinji?"

"Okay Layla bye" She waved

"What took you so long? You spent hours saying goodbye! See your eyes like you swallowed a whole ocean" Aaban glared

"Mr Ocean,I only spent 5 minutes or even less there" I rolled my eyes

"Whatever,were going to stop by at your house so you'll pick your box were going to be staying at my parent's house" He said

"Oh" I said

"Don't raise any suspicion or you're going to regret it!" He said as we zoomed off.

"Toh Mr Ocean" I smirked

"Stop calling me that"

"You call me Lulu and I don't like it so serves you right! You call me Lulu and I call you Mr Ocean"

"I won't stop calling you Lulu and if you call me that I won't answer" He smirked.

"Oh reallyyyy? Hmmm toh naji Mr Ocean"

He honked on my house gate and we entered together

We saw Baba sitting on the couch with his glasses on his nose reading a newspaper and Grannyboo was sitting beside him eating tuwo

"Assalamualaikum" Aaban and I said in unison.

"Waalaikumusalam my grandchild how are you?" Granny licked off the soup on her palm and motioned for him to sit down.

"Waalaikumusalam Aaban!" Baba said proudly and shook his hand

I'm really pained! See how they just left me standing by the door

"Kaka da Baba inawuni?" I greeted

"Lafiya" Baba answered and sauntered into his study with Aaban

"Shegiya munafika Wai ke kinaji kinyi aure an zama babbar mace ko?(Bastard Hypocrite you have gotten married and you're feeling like you're now a big woman)" She spat

"You have been married for 5 months now and you're still not pregnant are you sure you're not barren? Oh ayya,sorry kinji?" She mocked

Her words pierced into my heart but I ignored the pain.Why is she doing this to me? Aaban and I are not even in love so who is talking about getting pregnant here? GRANNYBOO!

"Why are you quiet? Algunguma kawai bakar ashana kona gari" She insulted

Layla turned to see the last person she expected to defend her at the moment
