"I what? Tell me! What did I do?!?"

"You forgave him we did all we wanted to seperate you two but you started liking me and if we did anything you'll get angry and not believe his real intentionsx She explained

"I did?" "Bye!" She hung up

No! This can't be true! I forgave that monster?! The person I hate with every fiber of my being? I hate myself for forgiving him I hate myself for even talking to him talkless of showing sympathy

I hope he won't try to do anything and I will never forgive him even if he's on his deathbed I will just move on and forget about him inshaAllah he won't come back She prayed

"Layla?" Mama called "Uhm yes?" Layla answered

"How are things going on between you and Aaban?" She asked

"Everything is fine mama" Layla smiled "Stop lying to me Layla I can see everything and that is the reason why I came to London not for anything but to unite the both of you and by god's grace I will succeed even if it's for you two to be friends I'll make it happen inshaAllah" She smiled

"I'll have to go now good night" She left

"Are you waiting for me to come and carry you to my room? Come on let's go! "Aaban barged into the room"

They laid down on the king sized bed and made a barrier with the throw pillows

Layla cuddled more on the thing she was sleeping on

As soon as she opened her eyes,she saw half of her body on Aaban's and their legs were tangled up together

She looked at his beautiful face not even handsome he's also beautiful! Woah! "She made a move to stand up but he dragged her back and she fell on his body"

"Baby where are you going to? "He asked and Layla felt a pang.

She yanked his hands off her and ran out of the room

Layla's Pov

I sauntered into the bathroom performed ablution and prayed

What was I expecting? Layla he will never be yours!.I thought.

I laid on my bed and I fell asleep almost immediately

"Baby please! You have to understand I totally forgot!" Aaban explained

"Unbelievable! So you forgot about me? Wow! Just wow! Don't forget that I'm your ....

"Baby my mom is here and I don't want her to suspect anything"

"Okay I'm needed in Ghana and I'm going to spend a month or two please don't try getting close to that girl"

"I promise" He smiled."Bye!" She hung up.

He dressed up in a black trouser and tank top

"Layla!" He called but she didn't answer so he left for the gym

Layla's Pov

I woke up exactly ten minutes to nine and prepared breakfast

I dressed up in a blue gown with black stones

"Mama inakwana? " Lafiya kalau my dear where is your husband? "She asked"

"I think he's at the gym" I smiled.

"Uhm are you hungry? I asked

"Not really later I guess" She said and I sat down just then,Aaban came in.

"Good morning mama" He greeted. "Morning "She answered".

"Layla come with me" He said and I followed him.

He removed his shirt revealing his sexy abs and muscles woah!

"Wash this shirt for me it was given to me by someone special and it got ruined today do anything you can to make it clean" He said.

"Sure" I smiled. 

I went to my bathroom and washed the shirt clean before hanging it to dry

"My daughter we should eat now" Mama said and we sat down on the dining table.

"Aaban you and Layla are going to accompany me to the shopping mall since I have seen the woman I came here to see "Mama said.

"Okay mama" Aaban and I said in unison"

We sauntered out of the house it was very cold outside and I forgot to pick up a sweater so I started shivering.

"Have it "Aaban handed me his black hoodie" T-thank you "I put it on and he got another one for himself.

We drove through the busy streets of Paddington till we reached a huge shopping mall

Reaching the mall,Aaban dissapeared while mama and I kept shopping.

I caught a glimpse of a beautiful diamond anklet woah! It's so beautiful unfortunately,I didn't come out with my credit card and I can't tell mama to buy it for me.

I sat down on a chair waiting for mama to finish when I heard a familiar voice.

"Laylaaa"

"Fadoul how are you? Long time" I smiled.

"I'm fine Layla by the way who did you come here with?" He asked.

"My husband and mother in law "I said.

"Layla I'll be getting married soon I wanted to drop by at your house and give you the invite but since you're here,have it" He handed me a cream card.

"She said that I should invite you to her bridal shower and other girly events you're going there with Falisha"

"Okay thanks what's her name by the way? I asked"

"Qamrah" He smiled and all I could see was pure love and adoration for Qamrah in his eyes.

"Woah! I can't wait to meet her" I squealed and my eyes met with Aaban's who was fuming.

"Assalamualaikum" Fadoul streched his hand for a handshake.

"So you followed her all the way here? Why are you just so jobless? He glared at him"

"Aaban! We just met here and he gave me his wedding invitation "I showed him the card and he looked really ashamed"

"Sorry man!" He apologized. "It's okay I understand"

"You're invited too all the cards are inside"

"Okay inshaAllah"

"We went back home and had lunch before settling down in the living room"

12:00am

I rolled and rolled on my bed unable to sleep why? Because he is suddenly nice to me you know who I mean

I don't even want to go to his room today I checked my phone and it was twelve already then I turned on my WiFi to watch YouTube and just then my phone began to beep with notifications what's the occasion? And the messages were sent since like 6 hours ago.You fool! Your time isn't the same as their's wait! Today is my birthday!!!!

Happy Birthday Layla was everywhere WhatApp, Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter some posted my pics and some are messages Zee even made a countdown for me awww!

And just then, I called my siblings in a conference call cause I saw their missed calls.

"Happy Birthday sisy!!!" They all shouted and I was already in tears.

"We wish you and long life and prosperity!!"

"Thanks guys "I smiled" "I wish you were here with us we would have had a party at Ya Faree's house like we always did "Zee said sadly.

"It's okay b" We kept on talking till it was twelve fifteen and I was sleepy so they let me be.

I was about to sleep off when I heard a knock on my door so i opened it.

"Happy Birthday Layla" Aaban smiled holding a small cupcake and a pink candle on top.

"Thanks" I smiled.

What da hell is happening?? Am I dreaming?

He brought out a box from his pocket and it looked familiar wait a minute it's the box of the diamond anklet I saw!

"Have this "He said in his husky voice" "Thank you"

"Sorry I wanted to be the first to wish you but I slept off" He smiled.

Oh my!!!! This is bad!

"Wait! "I said and sauntered into the bathroom.

"Your shirt" i said handing his clean shirt over to him.

" Thanks.Goodnight "He said and left"

What the hell???? Woah! I hope he is just not acting.I kissed the anklet and put it on my ankle before sleep over took me.

Aaban's Pov

I dont know why I'm suddenly nice to Layla not because I like her cause I have never felt anything for but because I'm impressed by her attitude no matter what I do to her she will always be nice to me.

I logged into my Instagram and saw that Zainab made a countdown for Layla's birthday and it's already night and I can't get a cake for her so I got a cupcake from the fridge and brought out the anklet I saw her looking at and unfortunately,I slept off waiting for twelve am.

I woke up some minutes later and sauntered into her room.
