"Hm, do you.. always give him money like that?" I asked. She shrugged "Yeah, why?" "Isn't he a millionaire or something? As a CEO of some big company, shouldn't he be able to like.. pay those 40 bucks on his own?"

"Probably, but I don't mind giving him some 40 bucks. He pays for much anyways." "For much?" "House bills, car bills, that stuff." Personally, I grew up and was taught a men who had money should always pay for those bills.

My dad does it, my grandpa does it, and my great grandpa did it. And they all gave their wife money to treat themselves with. I was brought up very traditional, on that part. But Andrea seemed to be fine with it, so I didn't press anymore.

Plus, it's kind of her.

"So, you're a lawyer, hm? That's a great job." "Yes it is, but it's also stressing. I think I'll get gray hair before the age of 30." "What's your age now then?" "27." "Oh.. I could've guessed. But, being a lawyer is stressful?" I nodded

"I can imagine, that's why I didn't become a lawyer." "You chose comfort over income? That's rare." "I guess it is yeah." I was trying to find a good topic to talk about, but shit my mind just went blank.

"Do you.. often just take walks in the evening, or at night like this?" I asked "Not much, alone. But I do often go out with Levina."

"Your best friend?" "Mhm." "Ah, alright. She seems quite.. bold." Andrea chuckled "She is very bold, and outspoken." "Are you used to her walking up to strangers?" "Yup. You're not the first one."

"Babe, I'm home." I said, stepping into the apartment around 7.30 pm. "Took you fucking long enough." Felix said, irritation lacing his tone. I raised an eyebrow and looked at my watch "It's 7.30. What are you mad about?"

"You went out with a man in the e evening. What was it? A date? Are you cheating on me or something?!" "I'm not cheating Felix. So if I went out? Do you want me to go out with my parents and ex?"

"You're parents- Ugh. Nevermind." He said. I took my shoes off and walked to the kitchen "Where is the sushi?" "I finished it." I blinked a few "You finished 40 dollars worth of sushi,"

"I mean, I probably would too, but I asked you to leave some for me. " "I told you to cook, you didn't want to. And I was hungry." Felix shrugged it off, which made me frown.

"I'll be in our room." I mumbled. I walked towards the bedroom, took off my clothes and just stepped into the shower.

"Andrea, good evening" I heard on the other line of the phone. His deep voice not failing to make my heart skip a beat. "Enzo, hi. What's the call for?" I said, my voice low as Felix really didn't need to hear me.

I saw three bottles of whisky on the table, no thanks.

"I was wondering if you would like to hang out tomorrow."

"Tommorow? What time then?"

"5. 30 pm?"

"Sounds good."

He hummed. "Alright, see you tomorrow." "Goodnight Andrea." "Goodnight." And then he hung up. The way he said my name send a shiver down my spine. But that's besides the point.

Tomorrow we'll meet up again. Why am I feeling excited?

We were out together, in a friendly way. We walked around when it started raining. We quickly walked to the closest place to grab shelter.

That place, so happens to be my place.

And guess who went sparkles and happy because I had a cat?

Yes. Andrea.

"Here," I said, giving her a towel to dry her hair. I had a Ragdoll, house cat of course. She is called Tiaris and Andrea already loves her.

"You seem to like cats, and she seems to like you too." I mumbled, making her nod happily. This woman was sitting there with my cat. So oblivious, not knowing she was the reason for these strained pants.

"Mhm, I've always wanted a cat, but Felix hates them. So I make most if it with other's cats."

Again.

That fucking Felix.

"Ah, Felix hates them so you can't have one? That's a bummer." I mumbled. Pretty sure she can't do anything fun with him close.

"Say, yesterday I heard him yelling before I walked home, what was that about?" I asked "Oh, uhm, just false accusations. He said it was suspicious of me to go out with you so 'late', he thought I was cheating."

"But then I reminded him that he and his parents still see his ex and he shut up."

"He still sees his EX? And, you're okay with that?" My eyes widened in surprise. She looked down on her lap. "I mean-..." so I pulled her chin up, forcing her to meet my gaze.

"Andrea, that's not okay. He treats you like crap, how can you just stand that." "I don't know, I just love him." "You love him, does he love you the same? Can he love you the same?"

"You deserve so much better Andrea." She gulped, she was nervous.

"If you want, I can show you better." I whispered in her ear.

Andrea

I could feel his hot breath sending tingles on my ear. I felt his lips brush against my earlobe, going down to my jaw, and then my neck.

"Enzo, I'm married."

"Are you really willing to stay in that thing you call marriage?" I hesitated. "Andrea, just let me please you. I know he doesn't. But I could. And I will." His hands trailed down my sides. From my chest to my waist.

I gulped again, why am I so nervous? "I just want to show you, how a man with a decent sense treats a woman who is supposed to be his wife."

"E-Enzo I have go home." Why did I just stutter? "In this rain? No chance." Damnit rain. His hand finally rested on my thigh.

"But if you want to go back so bad, let me bring you home."
