"Do I have to?" I pouted.

"Sorry (y/n) but someone has to watch Misa we need more evidence for our second Kira theory" L said.

L wanted me to spend time with Misa and see if I can collect any evidence on her being the second Kira while he watches from the cameras.

"Fiinnne" I sighed and walked up into Misa's room.

"OMG (y/n)! It's about time we had girl talk!" Misa squeaked.

"Wait what"

Suddenly Misa grabbed my arm and sat me down on the sofa, she ran over and sat opposite me.

"Who should go first?" She asked.

"You"

"Ok well, don't you think it's a bit of a stretch having L and Light handcuffed, we can't even go on dates without that creep watching! Speaking of light..."

Misa went on and on about light I swear I even saw the sun start to set. I wasn't really paying attention to her, just nod and slime and she'll be happy.

"What about you?"

"Huh?"

"Do you like any boys?"

How did she know?! Is it that obvious I have a crush on L...

"Mmm well-"

"OMG YOU DO! Who is it- wait no don't tell me... It's ummmm...."

Please don't say L. The cameras are on.

"Oh! I know! It's totally L"

SHIT.

I felt my cheeks go red at his name, how did she know?!

"Omg you're blushing it is L!" She squeaked "why do you like him?"

She's stumped me. I have to answer or I'll look suspicious as to why I just randomly came into her room.

"Well... He's nice, and I like his quirks" I said in a small voice.

"What about his looks do you think he's cute?" Misa asked.

"Uhh..."

"OMG YOU DO! When are you getting married?"

"WOAH! That's way too far!"

"Well, don't you think the way he just knows everything and the way he sits is kind of wired?" Misa asked.

"Well... No..." God I hope L doesn't hear this... "There's just something about him..."

It was a mistake coming in here.

Suddenly the phone rang. Misa picked it up and said a few things before hanging up.

"Sorry I have a shoot, we can talk later though" she said.

"Ok" I replied getting up and walking out. Preparing myself to face L.

Misa waved me goodbye and walked out to go to her shoot.

I took a deep breath and and walked out into the main part of headquarters where L sat there, staring at the screens. Light, who was handcuffed to L looked over at me and then back at L with a look as if to say 'he knows'. I shot him the death glare and quietly walked over to my seat where I turned on my computer and began to work. It was silent. And really, really, really awkward.

Suddenly the silence was broken by the man himself.

"So, you think I'm attractive?"

I froze and my cheeks went RED.

I didn't know what to say.

"I-I..."

"Don't worry, I share the affection" he said.

Phew. Wait, what?

I jumped in shock and started at him. He was just casually sitting there eating a strawberry.

Light, who was trying not to laugh at my facial expression, stayed silent and let the whole thing play out.

"You- what?" I sputtered

"I share the affection-" he said putting a strawberry in his mouth "you're nice, and cute and there's just something about you"

How is he so casual about this?

I sat there in shock, I honestly had no idea what to say.

"Strawberry?" He said holding a strawberry up to my mouth.

I was still shocked but I gripped onto the strawberry with my teeth and pulled it out if his hands, chewing it as I stated him down in shock. The L, likes me? L? I could never have imagined him in a relationship but here we are, he just said he liked me, well- in his own little way.

"You seem shocked? Is it because I like you too?" He said.

I nodded slowly and kept staring in disbelief.

I saw light walk over and whisper somethings in L's ear.

"Good idea" L said.

Light looked at me with a 'you're-welcome' face.

L reached over and grabbed a packet of something. He unwrapped it and I saw what it was. Pocky.

He held out a pocky stick to me and I grabbed it in my teeth. I can't believe I'm actually doing this.

"Pocky game?" He asked.

I can't believe I'm going to do this. I nodded and let him bite in the other end. We kept taking bites until we were just inches away from each other. Suddenly he took the last bite and closed the gap, his lips touched mine and I was engulfed in yet another wave of shock. He pulled away and chewed on the rest of his pocky.

"You know, you taste a lot like cheesecake, have you had it recently?" He asked casually.

I nodded and felt my face heat up. Did he actually just kiss me?

"PFTHAHAHAHHAHAHA!"

We looked over at light who was laughing his head off Next to us.

"You're so shocked and L's just so casual" he laughed.

I began to giggle too and eventually we were all laughing like maniacs at the situation.
