L, the worlds greatest detective, was a neko. That's why he kept his identity so secret. The only people you could contact L were you and Watari.

You picked up L off the streets the same day you were picked up by Watari. Because you were the one that L first saw, his cat instincts tell him that you are his mistress. He does whatever you tell him to, kind of like a butler. You keep telling him he doesn't have to do anything for you, but he persists.

"Mistress?"

"Hmm?"

"Would you like some cake?"

You turned to see L holing out a piece of cake in a plate, you smiled and took it from him.

"Thank you"

With those words, his cat ears twitched and he smiled, he sat down himself and started to eat his own cake.

"You don't have to do stuff for me you know" you said for the millionth time.

"I know, but you're my mistress remember" he said.

"L, you're the worlds greatest detective, I should be doing things for you"

"But Mistress-"

"Actually, you know what, don't call me mistress anymore, just call me (y/n). Technically I'm not your mistress and you're not my butler"

"Are you sure?" L said.

"Yes, from now on, it's just (y/n)" you said.

"Ok..."

It was quiet for a while until you heard L yawn, making you look over at him.

"If you're tired you can go to sleep, I can handle these papers" you said.

"No, this is my job, I'll do it"

"You sure?"

"Yes mist- (y/n)"

You giggled and rolled your eyes. Typical L.

You let him have is way for about 5 minutes until it looked like he was going to pass out. You walked over to him and picked him up.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Taking you to bed"

"But-"

"No buts, you need sleep"

"...ok"

You put him on his bed and watched him curl up into a little ball, wrapping his tail around himself as you pulled up the blankets. You turned to leave when you were stopped by L's voice.

"(Y/n)"

"Yeah?"

"Can you stay? I won't be able to sleep otherwise..."

You smiled and walked back over to the Neko boy. You crawled in next to him and let him snuggle up to you the way a cat would.

"How are you 18? You act like a 3 year old" you said.

"Because I'm a cat"

"That's true, and I wouldn't have it any other way"

He smiled and slowly fell asleep to the felling you running your hand through his hair, making his tail twitch.

You soon fell asleep to the sound of the cat boy purring. This adorable boy will be the death of you honestly, he was too cute for this world.
