"Go away light" you said.

"But why? You're fun to be around" e whined.

Ever since Misa got sick and stayed home from HQ light had been all over you, you knew their relationship was one sided but now you were questioning weather there even was a relationship.

"I like someone else" you said walking away.

"Whoever it is I bet I can treat you better"

"You can't, and no it's not just because you're a Kira suspect"

"Come on (y/n) give me a chance"

"Light, (y/n) said no. You should back off" L chimed in.

"Thank you L!" You sighed in relief.

Light scoffed and shuffled over to his desk, angrily typing. L looked over at you and tilted his head toward the door, indicating he wanted so see you outside. You nodded and followed him onto the hall, wondering what he wanted.

"I know that you two are close and you've been known him for a long time but I want you to stay away from him" L said.

"Ok, it makes sense since he might be Kira"

"Uh...yeah let's go with that"

You nodded and walked back into the room where you sat down and began to type away at your computer. Despite Light being clingy, he was still a long time friend and you had to respect him in some form. You continued to avoid him until he got annoyed and cracked an old running joke that was bound to get you.

"Remember the turtles..." he smirked.

You tried to keep it in but you just had to laugh.

"Got ya! HA!" He exclaimed.

"DAMNIT NOT THE TURTLES!" You laughed.

Suddenly you felt someone's gaze upon the two of you, you looked over to see L, staring Light down angrily. Is life were an anime there would be about a billion shaking lines around him. He was mad. You tilted your head in confusion and looked over at Light who had noticed and looked genuinely scared.

You slid back on your office chair as you saw L walk over to Light, who was terrified. What did he do? Maybe he ate all the cake.

L took a deep breath and gritted his teeth.

"Light. You need to leave. NOW" he said.

"Wha- why what did I do?" Light said.

"NOW!" L said pointing to the door.

Light threw his ands up in surrender and slowly backed out of the doorway and quickly waved goodbye to you.

L turned and went to walk back to his seat, mumbling bad things about light. You were confused as to what just happened. But then it hit you, L was jealous. You smirked and slid over to him, you put his hands on his shoulders and stated to massage them.

"You're so tense~" you teased.

"I don't want him near you, he's a threat" he said.

"Is every man that comes near me a potential threat?"

He froze. He didn't think you'd figure it out so easily.

"Yes"

You continued to rub his shoulders, helping him too loosen up a little. You spun him around to face you and grabbed his ankles, forcing him to put his feet on the table.

"Loosen up a little, you can restore your deductive ability later" you said.

He tilted his head in confusion.

"You've been working really hard on the case and being jealous over me that you're stressing out. Let me help~" you said.

You looked around and made sure no one else was in the room, once the coast was clear, you walked over and sat on his lap, facing him. Your legs hung either side of him as you slid your arms up his arms and stared to massage his shoulders again.

You could feel any innocence L had left drain from his aura as a smirk grew on his face.

"Well, I have been working a lot lately" he said.

You smirked and placed a light kiss on his neck.

"Feeling better?" You teased.

"No, keep going~" he teased back.

"Fine by me~" you said placing a kiss on his jawline.

"I should get jealous more often"
