A/n: based on a dream I had once. It was weird.

Master was out, you didn't know what he was doing but you didn't really question it. You weren't assigned any songs to cover so so you decided to write something yourself for your fellow vocaloid know as L. While most of the vocaloids wore schoolgirl outfits, dresses and trench coats. L was simple. He wore plain clothes and looked very human. The only difference was the number in his shoulder and the headphones with an L written in the side.

You really liked L, but you had no idea how to tell him, so you decided to write a new song for him. You called it 'I like you, I love you'

You decided to perform it to him today and hope he accepted your feelings.

You switched on your headset and adjusted your bow on your head and walked over to L's room where you heard him singing something. You hesitantly knocked on the door and waited for him to open it.

He soon did open the door with a smile on his face.

"Hey (y/n)" he said.

"H-Hi... I have a s-song for you" you said.

"Y-you do?"

"Yeah... can I sing it to you?"

"Sure, come in"

You walked into his room and plugged a USB into his computer, loaded the audio file and turned to see L sitting in his weird little position on his bed. You adjusted your headphones and made yourself sound a little more synthesised. You looked up at him as the music began and hit play.

I'm sorry, just one little moment of your time?

I only want to spend some time with you."

L tilted his head in confusion as he listened to the lyrics.

"So what should we do? What is there to do?
I know! We could play a game together!
Maybe a word game?
Shirito'ri' - 'Ri'n!
Sorry, you must be bored with this already!"

You rubbed your arm shyly as you sing the lyrics to him, portraying your feelings toward him.

"Maybe you're hungry?
Do you want something to eat?
I guess, I think I'll just have water to drink.

Just how much I wish you and I could be."

You saw a smile grow on his face making you feel a little less shy.

"And yet I watch you pass

L smiled at you, he got up and walked up to you. You continued to sing to him and hoped he understood the lyrics.

"I want to tell you just how I feel about you.
But why is it so difficult just for me to tell you?"

He stayed quiet, he just smiled at you.

You felt him grab one of your hands and give it a squeeze.

"So what can we do? Just Let me think, now.
Um, maybe we could play janken-shiyo?
Jankenpon! Uh, Something else then?
I'm sorry, I'm really no good at this am I?"

You felt your cheeks start to heat up at his touch, you continued to sing so this could be over before master gets back.

"Maybe you're hungry.
Do you want something to eat?
I guess, I think I'll just have water to drink.
Even if so suddenly, all these feelings inside me.
Leave my face red, leave me feeling kind of weak.
So, then would it be okay?

The song was staring to draw to a close, you hoped L understood the meaning behind the lyrics.

L pulled his headphones off to hear the ending better and threw them behind him onto his bed.

"I wish that I could say it, sorry, I, wait a minute
I just want to, um, er I wish, hey, um, I can't say it.

He grabbed your other hand and smiled again.

"I sort of kind of can't I'm not very good at this
I wish I wish I wasn't so nervous!
Just a minute!"

It was the part where you confessed, you were nervous, very nervous.

That I'm in love with--!"

All you had to do was say it.

"I- That I- That- That I...
That I'm in love with you!"

You looked up at L who was smiling at you, you pulled your hands out of his and buried your face in them to hide your blush from him.

You felt his arms wrap around you as he pulled you into a tight hug.

"Don't tell master... but I love you too"
