(S/n) = sisters name.
(S/h/n) = sisters husbands name.

You were sleeping peacefully next to your newlywed husband Lawliet when you were awoken by loud ringing in your ear. You sat up groggily and grabbed your phone.

"Hello?"

At the sound of your voice, L woke up to see you on the phone.

"WHAT?!" You exclaimed.

"What's wrong?" L said sleepily.

"We're on our way!" You said, hanging up.

You jumped out of bed and grabbed a jumper, forcing your slippers on.

"What's happening?"

"MY SISTERS GOING TO HOSPITAL"

L jumped out of bed and grabbed a jumper, dragging you out of the room and grabbing the keys. You both ran downstairs and rushed out the door to the car. Speeding off down the street.

"Do you think it was Kira?" You asked, ins worried tone.

"Kira was caught, it can't be him" L said.

"What could it be?"

"Wait, what's the date?"

"23rd"

L thought for a moment.

"Isn't your sister pregnant?"

"HOLY SHIT!" You exclaimed, realising was was happening.

"Listen, (y/n). She'll be fine, I've known you and your sister for years. She's strong, plus- her husbands there with her"

"I'm just worried because I'm the only biological family she has... it's an instinct..."

"I understand, just stay calm she'll be fine"

You anxiously waited as you drove as fast as legally possible to the hospital. When you pulled up in the car park, you both booked it down to the entrance and saw your sisters husband waiting for the two of you.

"Is she ok?" You asked.

"It'll happen any minute now, we have to get to the delivery wing" he said, grabbing both your arms and pulling your both down the halls.

You came to a stop outside the door, waiting for a doctor to let you in.

"Everything will be fine (y/n)" L said, as you rested your head against to his chest.

You heard a door open and a doctor came out.

"It's time"

You watched as the doctor let your sisters husband in but stopped you and L.

"I'm her sister let me in!" You said.

"Sorry mrs. (L/n), only parents and the significant other" the doctor said.

"Wha-"

Before you could finish, the door closed in your face.

"Rude" L commented.

"Please be ok (s/n)..."

Some long hours later, you sat on the floor beside L outside the hospital room, anxiously waiting for the results.

Suddenly the door opened and the doctor let you in. You both rushed in to hear the sound of a baby crying, you skidded over to see you sister, looking tired and sore, with her first child in her arms.

"Thank god you're alright..." you said.

"Sorry the doctors didn't let you in" she said.

"It's ok, as long as everyone's alright"

"And sorry for waking both of you up"

"You can't help having a child (s/n)! It's fine!"

(S/h/n) took the young girl in his arms, in an attempt to make her stop crying.

"What's her name?" L asked.

"Melanie" (s/n) replied.

"Ahh! So cute!" You cooed.

(S/h/n) walked over to you and L with Melanie and let you have a closer look.

"When you open you eyes, you'll be able to see Aunty (y/n) and uncle Lawliet" (s/h/n) said to the baby.

"I'm the cool one" L said.

"Hey!" You said, whacking his arm.

(S/h/n) walked back over to (s/n) and gave her the baby. You watched as with a smile at the start of your new family beginning to grow. You felt L's arm around you and pull you closer to him.

"Looks like we'll be babysitting soon enough" he said.

"I'm gonna get her into anime" you said.

L laughed, the first thought was getting your new niece into anime.

"Hey (y/n)?" He said.

"Yeah?"

"Would you like that to be us one day?"
