It was your favourite part of the week, movie night. You and your boyfriend L would watch movies all night and fall asleep together, you loved nights like this.

Today you picked three Ghibli movies, Howls Moving Castle, Spirited Away and My Neighbour Totaro. You popped some popcorn as you waited for L to finished up in the shower and covered the couch in blankets.

You heard him come down the hallway so you dove under the blankets and hid from him.

"What? (Y/n) where did you go?"

You jumped up from the blankets and threw the aside.

"SURPRISE!" You smiled.

"Jesus (y/n)!" He said, jumping back in fright

You laughed at his reaction.

"Don't do that!" He giggled.

He walked over and flopped onto the sofa, you wrapped him up in blankets and gave him the popcorn.

"What are we watching first?" He asked.

"Pick" you said holding out the DVDs.

"Umm... Howls Moving Castle"

You jumped up and put the DVD into the DVD player and clicked play. You rushed back to your spot next to L and wrapped yourself up in blankets, leaning against L's shoulder.

It was silent as you watched the first parts of the movie, every so often you would reach over for the popcorn and take a handful. The silence was broken by your words a few minutes later.

"You know... Howl's kinda cute" you said.

"You cheating on me with an anime character?" L joked.

"20 actually, have you seen Haru and Tomoe? Total bishi status"

"Wow, mean to you're real boyfriend"

"Well if they had you on bodypillows, I'd buy it" you giggled.

"Not creepy at all" he laughed.

"Hey I'm actually dating you that's not that creepy, plus I have more body pillows in my room it wouldn't be a first"

"That reminds me, stop buying pillows we have to feed ourselves you know"

"But sexy anime guys!" You pouted.

"You have a sexy real guy right here stop complaining"

That made you laugh, you never thought you'd hear L say something like that.

"What? You don't think I'm sexy? I look fabulous babe"

That made you laugh even more.

"Where is this slang coming form?"

"I saw it in a movie" L laughed.

"That explains it"

You put you head back onto his shoulder and went back to the movie.

"Howl's still cute though" you added.

"I'm right here! Don't replace me with an anime bishi" L laughed.

"Well I have a real bishi, why can't I have an anime one?"

L just face palmed himself.

"How did I fall for you again?"

"Because I look fabulous babe"
