"GET AWAY FROM ME!" You scream as two masked men hold your arms up against a wall in an alleyway.

"What do you think boss? She a keeper?"

One of the men put a hand around your neck so you couldn't move your head.

"She's a looker and she has money" the man said.

"SOMEONE HELP ME!" You scream.

"Strip her here"

You kicked and screamed at those words, you felt your shirt start to be un-buttoned as you fought against the men.

"HELP SOMEONE! GET AWAY!"

You felt your leggings start to come off, you twisted your legs together so your leggings couldn't fully come off. You heard the smash of a beer bottle, these drunk criminals won't leave you alone.

"HELP!"

You screamed a blood curdling scream as your leggings cane off. By now you were starting to loose all hope.

"SOMEONE HELP ME! PLEASE!"

Tears ran down your face as you screamed and tried to fight against the men.

Suddenly there was a thud, one of them men had been thrown against the wall. You couldn't see anything clearly, you were being choked and your shirt was almost off, you saw lights in the distance. There was another thud as one of the men was knocked out.

You saw two hands wrap around the last mans neck and he was thrown up against the wall, you could breathe again as you saw a man in a white shirt kick the other man repeatedly until his unconscious body was dropped onto the floor. The man in the white shirt came up to you, you scrambled back against the wall as he approached you.

"I'm not going to hurt you" he said in a gentle voice.

You couldn't see him clearly through the tears but you saw lights start to approach and sirens wailing. Your saviour picked you up and grabbed your leggings with his free hand. He helped you out of the alleyway where you heard more voices. They sounded like kids voices, there were sirens everywhere and people watching the scene play out.

"Near help me out!" The nice man said.

Another boy ran up to you and put an arm around you as you saw police cars and ambulances pull up, behind them was a news van.

The police started to rush down the alleyway to arrest the men and an ambulance pulled up right in front of you. Paramedics started to pile out and rush over to you, you were grateful to be alive, but the fact you're half naked in front of a bunch of strangers was starting to get to you.

The two boys and paramedics sat you in the back of the ambulance as you bawled your eyes out.

"Miss what's your name?" One of the police officers asked.

"(Y/n) (l/n)" you sobbed.

"What did they try and do to you?" The man in the white shirt asked.

The police officer was about to scold him for getting involved but a boy on leather with short blonde hair jumped in.

"He's a detective, we all work for different agencies" he said.

That shut the cop up.

"I was walking home and they pulled me into that alleyway, they pinned me down and slammed me against the walls and floor and stared to undress me" you managed to choke out.

"Do you have anyone we should contact?" The white haired boy asked.

"My parents are overseas... I don't have anyone else here except a friend" you said.

"We'll contact your parents, can one of you boys let her contact her friend?" The cop said.

The boys nodded when you saw the cop jump out and you saw a news camera outside the ambulance.

"STOP FILMING YOU PERVERTS!" You yelled.

The three boys closed the ambulance doors which made you calm down.

"My name is Near, This is Mello and..." the one in pyjamas began.

"I'm L" the one that saved you said.

"L? As in the detective?" You said, trying to wipe the tears away.

"Yes, but you can't tell anyone, here's what we'll do, you're going to go to hospital where you'll meet your friend, if she can't take care of you, we will. We live at an orphanage not too far from here. It's very safe" L explained.

You nodded in understanding and took the phone from his hands, dialling your friends number.

"Marinette!" You sobbed into the phone.

"(Y/n)! are you ok? What happened?" She said.

"I'll explain when I see you, meet me down at Royal Evergreen Hospital, I'm gong there now"

"WHAT?! WHAT HAPPENED? IM LEAVING THE HOUSE NOW!"

"I'll explain soon I have to go!" You hung up and gave the phone back to L.

The paramedics opened the doors and climbed in, they lifted you onto a stretcher and gave you laughing gas for the pain in your ribs, foot and neck.

"Are you three detectives?" One of the paramedics asked.

"Yeah" L replied.

"Right, stay with her we're taking her to hospital"

You heard the sirens wail and felt the ambulance start moving. You were at hospital in a matter of minutes, you were pulled out of the ambulance on the stretcher, still crying and were rushed through the doors of the hospital, where you saw Marinette anxiously waiting.

"HOLY SHIT (Y/N)!" She yelled running beside the paramedics and the detective.

L took your hand and have gave it a gentle squeeze.

"It's all going to be ok" he smiled at you before you fell asleep.

When you awoke, you found yourself in hospital robes with a cast on your foot, and bandages around your torso and neck, covered in cuts and connected to a heart monitor.

"She's awake!" Marinette yelled.

You saw Marinette and the three boys rush over. You actually got a good look at the man that saved your life, he was tall, had black hair, blue jeans, a white shirt and dark bags under his eyes. He was cute, and you owed him your life.

"Wha-"

"L explained everything, I can't believe they did that to you, I'm so glad you're ok!" Marinette exclaimed, hugging you gently.

"Miss (y/n), I want you listen carefully" L said.

"I'm listening" you said sitting up.

"You're in a stable condition, you're coming back to the orphanage with us and we'll take care of you until your parents get back, the orphanage owners have been notified and you're parents will be back in about 2 weeks"

You nodded in understanding and smiled at the raven haired boy, who smiled back at yours and took your hand in his.

-time skip-

You lay in a bed at the orphanage, the few kids that lived there had all heard the news and were very interested in the story, especially this one guy named Matt who claimed to have seen that in a video game once.

You couldn't stop thinking about L. The man who saved your life just a few days ago. You still couldn't believe you were almost raped. Your mind was full of questions and worries, there was a knock on the door and L came in with an ice pack. He gently put it on the bump on your head and sat in a chair in a strange position beside you.

"How are you feeling?" He asked.

"Strange" you replied.

He gave your hand a gentle squeeze.

"You're safe here now, don't worry about a thing"

There was a moment of silence.

"Thank you L, for saving my life I owe you everything I have to live for" you said.

"I was just making sure justice was served"

You spread your arms open for a hug, he leant down and wrapped his arms around you gently as you did to him.

You gave him a kiss on the cheek and hugged him tighter.

"Thank you so much, I love you so much L"

He hugged you tighter.

"I love you too (y/n)..."
