Kim Jieun's POV

'I have to run, I have to...'

The moon was shining gracefully in the dark sky accompanied with the stars peeping out of the clouds.

I could only focus on the fact that I had to run to save myself.

I just hoped that she and my fellow mate Na Jaerin could reach our HQ, alive.

I ran and ran and ran deeper in the forest, until her legs started to give in. Yet I could still hear footsteps following me.

I stood leaning on a tall eucalyptus tree, catching My breaths when my mind clicked.

'They won't be able to see me if I climb up the tree and hide.'

So I did what I thought and sat on a branch which would atleast not break  easily and was high enough so that they won't notice me.

"FIND HER!  SHE WILL NOT GO FAR WITH THAT WOUND! " I could her from a distance and again, those footsteps, crushing the dried leaves of the ancient trees along with the sound of the wind and the rustling of leaves caused by it.

I could also hear the panting of my partner with the bluetooth devide plugged in my ear.

I just sat there, pressing a piece of cloth which I tore from my shirt, onto my wounded arm.

Waiting for them to go back and not come towards me, I just sat there. No knowing what to do If they see me. That few minutes felt like eternity.

The voices of the wind blowing in my ear as if warning me to stay alert. The faint mumbling heard from below, of the goons talking about where I can be. And the voice of my blood dripping drop by drop, from the now fully soaked cloth.

I even dropped my gun in the
Mansion.. I could do nothing in defense if anyone attacks me now.

"Sir, We could not find her.. She did not go in that direction I guess "

"SO WHAT ARE YOU ALL WAITING FOR!?  GO! "

Few mimutes later, I heard the bluetooth buzz lightly.

"I am Safe, Sehun found me.. Where are you Jieun?" I heard Jaerin's voice across the bluetooth and heaved a little sigh of relief.

"I don't really know... I am sitting on top of a Eucalyptus tree... "

"You What!? "

"Weird situations bring us to do weird things Jae.. "

"Oof...I don't like how you use this particular phrase everywhere"

"Stop joking Jae, Find me, I am turning on my location in my watch, then I will switch it off."

"Yeah, We don't want those shit heads to locate you.. Okay stay there Baekhyun will be there in few"

"Do that fast.. I am losing blood.. "

"Okay okay, wait. Yup we have tracked you. Bae is coming"

".....Fast"

I waited for few minutes when I heard Baekhyun's voice from below.

"Ji, Are you here? "

"Fuck! Why are you shouting Bae? "

"Why are you shoutimg back, Ji?"

"Oof, its a waste to argue with you. I am coming down"

Going down was a painful journey yet I still somehow managed to get to Baekhyun safely.. Not really...

If fell from the height of like 9 feet, directly on the ground.

And that was when I heard,

"Typical Jieun.. "

And then I blacked out"
