Later that night, she was sitting on the deck of the Sunny. It was her night to keep watch so she did. She enjoyed the peace of it. As she walked around she heard footsteps on the ships wood. She quickly hid in the shadows as she waited for whoever it was to show themselves.

To her surprise, Law stepped out onto the deck and leaned against the railing. He had a look on his face she had never seen before. Was he upset about something? She continued to watch him as he looked at the stars and spoke to himself.

"Cora...I promise I will avenge you. I will kill Doflamingo if it's the last thing I do" Law spoke softly and then sighed. She knew he had a secret motive to his plan and she was gonna find out what. She took her daggers out as soon as he turned around and threw them, pinning his sleeves to the railing as she landed in front of him.

"Who's Cora?"

"What?" He played dumb, glaring at her. He was not about to spill his life story to this annoying brat of a girl.

"You heard me, now answer before the next dagger goes somewhere that will probably kill you"

"Wow, I'm really scared (y/n)" He teased "if you wanted me alone you could've just asked"

"In your dreams, Trafalgar"

"Oh trust me, I have better things to do than dream about you"

"Who's Cora?"

"That's none of your business"

"Why do you wanna avenge his death? What happened between you and Doffy?"

" (y/n) stop"

"No. Answer me"

Law snapped "room!" A blue orb appeared. His powers. He used them to switch spots with her and now he had her trapped between him and the deck. He glared down at her face while she looked up at him. Her eyes sparkling in the moon light. He would never admit it out loud, but she was beautiful. He had no time to explore feelings though, he despised her and he had to focus on his plan. He looked away and backed up, leaving her space to get away.

"Sorry..." he apologized quietly

"Hm? What was that?"

He shot her a glare "I said I'm sorry. Now don't push it"

"I still can't hear you" she teased

"I swear you're trying to annoy me on purpose now"

"And you just now figured it out? I thought you were smart, Doctor" she smirked and turned to lean on the railing, looking at the stars

"Brat" He shot back, leaning on the railing next to her

Silence overcame them as they looked at the stars together. Neither of them wanting to break it. They were (for once) enjoying themselves together.

She took the moment to admire his face. He was handsome, but she would never admit that out loud. She kind of enjoyed this moment with him...kind of.

He smirked a bit and glanced at her "Enjoying the view?"

"No..."

"Liar"

"What? You think I'm staring at you because I like you? Cuz I don't"

"I never said that, but now that you mention it..." he teased

"No. I just wanna know what you're thinking"

"Kinda obsessive, don't you think?" he teased

She punched his arm "Shut up. I don't know why I even bother"

He chuckled and rubbed his arm where she hit him. She packed quite the punch. He knew she was strong. They continued to watch the stars silently until he noticed her body teetering back and forth. He looked at her just in time to catch her as she fell into him....she was asleep.

"Tch, pain in the a-" Law stopped himself when he looked down her sleeping face in his arms. She looked so peaceful, so perfect. Her skin was glowing in the moonlight...beautiful.

He sighed and sat down with her on the deck, letting her sleep against him and soon enough, falling asleep on his own.
