I was awaken from another alarm, one I had never heard before. After my devastating news yesterday, I just went back to my room and slept. I didn't bother eating. What was the point anymore? I have to wait so long for my court case, and I might not even win. Not that I don't have faith in Mr. Fischbach, but it's never a guaranteed win.
But as I woke up, Rydendale opened up my cell and tossed cloth at me. I picked it up, examining it, seeing that it's my clothes from the night I got arrested.
"What's this for?" I held up the cloth in curiosity. Rydendale just rolled her eyes and scoffed.
"Get dressed, you've been bailed out." She tugged me up, but my mind froze. Excuse me? Did she just say I was bailed out? Who in the right mind payed $295,000 just to bail me out? I don't have anyone. Ryan's mother and sister? Possibly.
But how had they heard of this?
I don't care.
I'm free.
I pulled on Rydendale's grasp to lead me to the showers where I can bathe and change.
"Who bailed me out? Did they pay the whole fee? Do I know who they are? What time is it? Where will I be going? When can I leave? Will they be-"
"Shut up and get in there!" She pushed me into the showers to change, but I fell to the floor as she closed the door. I don't care, I'm way too happy to.
I instantly jumped out of my old, dirty clothes the station had given me, and started to wash myself.
I'm so glad I could be lucky enough to be bailed out before I had to be moved to a prison. I wouldn't survive in there. That's why, now that I have the hope and freedom for two whole years, I know we will my able to win my case.
"Are you almost done in there? It's been ten minutes!" I could hear Rydendale's angry voice echo through the door and she banged on it.
"Stepping out now!" I shouted back.
I washed all remaining soap off of my hair and body and climbed into my old, comfortable clothes. They had been washed, how sweet.
"It's about time. Come on, we have to go down to Fong's office and sign some release forms." Rydendale continued to drag me down the halls.
"Sign here," I signed. One step closer to freedom.
"Here," Two.
"Here," Three.
"Here," Four.
"and finally, initials here." Freedom.
I jumped out of my seat after Rydendale unlocked my cuffs and let me go. I wrapped my arms around her without her acknowledgement. I don't care. I'm free. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I jumped up and down. I don't even care. All my worries are out the window as of right now. Who cares if I'm acting like an excited little child? I obviously don't. I ran down to the entrance as I heard Rydendale yell after me. "Try not getting arrested, again, (L/n)!" I smiled, even though she couldn't see me. I busted out the front door and saw my bailer. My smile dropped and my eyes widened.
"Mark, what are you doing here?"
