Chapter 9 New Guy

After many weeks went by, the Ali creature still hasn't gained consciousness yet. Jay told the Captain if the alligator didn't wake up soon he would be announced dead. The Captain became worried, so out of the kindness of his heart he decided to give Jay all the resources he needed to wake the alligator man.

Miraculously, the Ali creature finally woke up one day on a rainy day during the month of April. The green-haired Ali slowly lifted his heavy eyes. He was completely lost and had no idea or clue about anything before or after his situation.

It took the Alligator man a moment to realize he was somewhere unfamiliar. He wanted to sit up and see his surroundings, but he felt too weak and fatigued to move a single muscle.

He started to make weak random noises, hoping someone would hear him and help him. No one came. The Alligator man was about to give up before someone finally opened the door. "Hey! Hey! Are you all right?" The alligator creature wanted to answer the unfamiliar young voice, but he couldn't since his words only came out soft mumbles. Small footsteps came closer to the patient's bed, a little fox boy came into view.

The fox studied the alligator's face. "You don't look too good... I'll get Jay-" Laven suddenly came out of nowhere and cut off Fox. "He-he up! He-e up! Yay!" Laven jumped up and down.

"Shh! Quiet Laven! You're making too much noise Jay will kill us!" Laven obeyed and calmed down, before running straight towards the bed. "He-hello! What-t your nam-em?" Laven asked.

The alligator man was confused to where these random kids came from, he wanted to answer Laven's question but struggled to. "Don't mind him, he has speech problems."

Fox scratched the back of his head. The Ali man moved his hands in a motion to say 'It's okay' before turning his head towards the door. Jay walked in furious at the boys, until he saw that the Alligator creature was finally awake. "Captain! Captain! He's awake!"
