On a stormy night, an enchantress came to a prince's castle.
She begged him for food and water, but Prince Laurance Meteli Zvhal ignored her pleads.
So the enchantress turned into a wall and turned him to a shadow knight.
Before she left, she gave him an enchanted rose, and if he didn't find true love before the last rose pedal fell, he would remain a shadow knight forever..

In a village near the castle, Aphmau lived nearby.
More than anything, she always wanted to go on an adventure like those books she read.
Then there was Garroth, Garroth wanted to marry Aphmau, but she always refused.
Aphmau thought Garroth as a straight-up bastard, because he was always cheating on girls.
Then, there was her father, Shad Divine Phoenix.
Her father had a new invention, called a automatic cookie maker, and he was going to go at Orangeburg to try and win the contest.
But on his way, Shad got lost and chased by a pack of wolves to gates of the nearby castle.
Shad went into the castle, and then the shadow knight locked him up, because a sign said DONT ENTER and he didn't read the DUMB SIGN!
Then, Aphmau searched for her father, and found him locked up, since the wolves had a piece of his shirt in their mouths.
The beast found her, and because he only had one cell, he kicked Shad out of the castle and locked Aphmau inside it.
He wanted to get rid of the spell so badly.
