Y/N's pov

"Today is 1461 day after everything happened, that means 4 years had passed" I started talking to the camera like every year "Through the year nothing exciting happened. We found more survivors and gave them a shelter, my crew is still trying to find a cure for this" I stopped talking and sighed, not knowing how to call it "disease... the longer we don't find the cure, more people get infected and... you know, they die or become monsters" I stopped recording myself because I felt desperate, I don't know if even someone will watch these, If anyone will survive this mess.

I don't know how the government could of fuck up this bad. They thought they created cure for cancer, but after they started using it on people it was too late to stop it. After they injected that stuff into people, they started feeling sick, having a fever and puking, after few hours they turned into something that I can not explain, like zombies, but not quite.. Their eyes turn black and longer they have been turned, the more their skin turns grey. Those things don't eat people unless they starved for weeks, then even God can't help you. The second their saliva or blood touches your open wound or gets into your mouth, nothing can help you from that point. 

After that mess happened a lot of people got into groups and got scattered around the county.  I created my own group which I love like a family. We have jobs here, of course we don't get paid for them, we just have to do them. I am one of the scientists here, we are like doctors, check up on people if they are infected or get sick and we are trying to make a cure. 

We have soldiers that go and try to save survivors and bring back suplies, builders who have build a safe wall around our small town and many more people that work here and I don't know what would happen without them. 

I felt someone's arms wrapping around my neck and right away I knew it was my best friend Camila.

"Hey" and right away I heard a small, almost a whisper hello as a response ''what brings you here?'' I spin around in my chair so I could look into her brown eyes

"We need your help, Mendes, Styles and Lovato just brought some survivors back so we need to check up on them" I looked her and smirked

"Mendes? As Shawn Mendes? Don't you have a crush on him?" 

"No I do not" I looked at her with a raised eyebrow "It was a one night stand! Plus I like someone else, okay?'' I said few okays' and raised up my hands in defense as I stood up.

We walked to the front gate with another doctor named Austin to see Shawn, Harry, Demi with three survivors.1 guy who looked like he is in his 30's and 2 girls, one was really short with bright brown hear and brown eyes and other was green piercing eyes and pitch black hair. 

''State your names" Camila said

"Lauren" 

"Tyrone"

"Ally"

I looked at each one and saw a wound on Tyrone's, so he could be infected

"I will check on him" I said and went to him. I started to look at his wound "When did you get this?"

"I don't know, maybe when we were running from those things" He said in his deep voice 

"Did they touch you? bite you? Did any of them had blood on them?" I started panicking as I pulled out my flashlight out of my pocked and shined it at his eyes and they  were almost full black. He was infected. I stood up, looked at Harry, Shawn, Demi and shook my head. Styles handcuffed him and started to lead him to a warehouse that no one leaves.

"Hey! Where are you taking my boyfriend? Leave him alone!" Lara or whatever her name was started shouting and crying at the same time.

"It's okay baby, I love you!" Ty shouted as I heard that, cringed how that sounded.

"Hey, calm down Laur, he will be okay" The other girl and hugged her. I looked at Cami and Austin. 

"Lauren isn't infected" Camila said and Austin said the same about the other girl. 

"Welcome to your new home, soldier Demi will show you around and show you were two of you will live" I said

"Thank you" said the shorter girl and the Laur girl just glared at me with tears in her eyes as they started to walk away from us. I saw Shawn looking at Camila, he definitely wanted to say something to her so I thought I would leave them. 

"Come on Austin I need your help at the lab" I smiled at Shawn and winked at Camila while she gave me an death glare which I just laughed off.
