Y/N's pov

I and my best friend Lauren that I had a crush for the longest time are going camping. I was excited yet nervous because I am going to be alone with her and sleeping in the same tent. I shouldn't be nervous nothing won't happen between us, she doesn't even like girls, Lauren always dated guys. I was pulled out from my thoughts when I heard a car honk

''Hey loser! Hurry up! I want to set up  the tent before it's dark'' I heard her raspy voice. I grabbed my backpack and walked to her car. 

''Hey Laur'' I said sitting in the front seat and she started to drive

After an hour in the car we stopped in a camp spot Lauren went to build the tent and I picked our bags from the car. As she was bending down I couldn't stop myself from staring at her ass

''Like what you see?'' She turned to me smirking

''Y-ee-aa'' I said stuttering. Damn it! Why do I have to stutter? What are you doing to me? She giggled at me and continued building the tent. 

After few hours it got dark so we set up a fire and eating marshmallows. 

''So Y/N do you like anyone?'' She asked out of nowhere. What should I say? 

''Yeah'' She looked at me with her green eyes and smirked

''Who is it? Is it she or he?'' 

''She'' I said chewing on my marshmallow 

''Is she from our school? Describe her to me'' 

''Well she is the most beautiful girl in the world, she has the most beautiful eyes, where ever I go I think of her, I wish she was mine, but I am too scared to ask her out'' I said sighing and putting my head down

''Anyone should be lucky to have you Y/N, you are amazing, you see beauty in everything and everyone'' She said walking up to me and sitting next to me. We started to stare at each other, I saw her looking at my lips few times 

''And do you still like that someone that you can't stop talking about?'' I asked

''Yes'' She said simply. I started to lean in and she did too, but when our lips almost touched she putted her forehead on mine

''I can't, Y/N even how much I want to I can't, I have a boyfriend, he asked me out yesterday and I thought you would never like me back. You are my crush, but I am not a cheater'' Lauren said with teary eyes and stood up. She turned to me and said ''Goodnight''  before walking up to the tent. 

I stayed to the fire until it fade away. Lauren has a boyfriend now and I was the crush that she couldn't shut up about. I never thought she would like me back.

I stood up walking to the tent, as I climbed in, I heard soft snores coming from her. I laid next to her, falling asleep.
