Well. Not everything was, but some thing were. (age will vary)

Everyone had regret about something. Harry regretted what happened after the war with Lauren. She vanished. Lauren A. Black, war hero, chocolate frog character, his friend, his family - gone. After that battle had ended and the sun had begun to rise, she'd left the castle. Harry had gone after her.

"Go away Harry," she'd told him. Instead, he'd gotten closer and had sat down next to her on the sand near the Black Lake. "I said go away." she refused to look at him, but that was okay. Harry didn't feel like seeing the darkness of her eyes when he remembered them being so full of light, they could blind him.

"You shouldn't be alone," he replied. "But I'll go." he placed a small box in the sand and left. He wasn't sure what had happened after he'd left, but he thought it had something to do with why she'd disappeared. The small box and it's contents were found on his doorstep a few weeks later. That's how he knew that she was really gone.

Lauren glanced down at the box after he left. Seeing as she had nothing else to do but drown in grief, she opened it. Inside was a small black stone. She picked it up and it was as if the air had changed. There was an eerie blue glow in front of her. Lauren glanced up and dropped the box at the sight of her mother.

"Mum," she said in utter astonishment. Lauren spun around. There was no one there, no one that could be tricking her. Her mother smiled and shook her head slightly.

"Oh Laurie," the ghost-like woman said. "You've been through so much." Lauren felt tears prick up in her eyes. She wanted to say something, but there was nothing for her to say. All she could do, was listen. "I am so proud of you," her mother continued, walking towards her. She didn't touch her, but they were close enough to. "You've been so strong for so long. Too long. You've lost so much more than you should have. It's not right. And yet, you're still okay. I'll never not regret not being able to be there for you. I've watched you grow up and yet, I haven't. Oh, my darling girl. I love you so much. You're so brave and strong, so much more confident then I ever was. I know it hurts, the pain of it all. But it will get better, I promise. Just hang in there."

Tears were falling down Lauren's face, but she didn't bother to wipe them away.

"Mum," she forced out the words. "I miss you." Her mother looked at her ruefully.

"I know you do sweetheart, but you're okay. That's what counts." She paused to stare at her again. "I wish that I could stay longer, but I'm afraid that I'm not the only one here to see you." Lauren frowned.

"What do you mean?" she asked. But before she finished asking, her mother faded away and a new voice greeted her from behind. "

"Hey Buckwings, did ya miss me?" Sirius's clear voice rang out. Lauren whipped around and ran towards her beloved guardian.

"Sirius," she said, fresh tears brewing in her eyes.

"I'll keep this short because I know there's more people her for you. You may not have been my biological daughter, but who really cares about all that crap. You're my girl, Lauren. You're my daughter, and nothing is going to change that. Ever. People may think that I raised you, but in reality, you kinda've raised yourself and me at the same time." he laughed slightly and Lauren found herself daring to smile. "I'm sorry that I'm missing being here with you, but don't worry about me, okay? I'm alright. I'm back with James and Remus and Anna. But I better not be seeing you up here for a long time, you hear me?" he declared. Lauren nodded.

"I hear you," she said weakly. "I- I miss you so much." Sirius smiled at her.

"I miss you too." he replied, before fading away.

"Hi Lauren." a soothing voice called out. Lauren spun around to see Colin watching her. "I don't have long since I'm kinda've new here," he began. "So I'll keep this brief. I love you Lauren, and I think I always have. And I know that me leaving hasn't been easy for you, but I want you to promise me that you'll move on. Don't become like Snape for Merlin's sake. I just want you to know that you should move on, live your life. And if you happen to fall in love again, don't be afraid to go for it. Alright?"  Lauren nodded as tears flowed down her face.

"Alright." she agreed meekly. "I'll try." Colin grinned at her.

"One last thing." he continued. "If it's not to much to ask. Could you- could you tell my brother, tell him to be brave and strong for my parents. And that I miss him." Lauren nodded.

"Of course." she promised.

"Down side of being dead," Colin admitted. "Is that I can't kiss you one last time." With that, he faded away.

Marian, Remus, Tonks, Fred, and Mad-eye Moody came to talk to her as well before it was over. Lauren walked back to the Great Hall, tears still in her eyes, but grief much less powerful. She looked around before spotting one of the people she was looking for.

"Dennis Creevey?" she asked the small boy kneeling by his brother's body. He looked up somberly. "I have a message for you." she continued. "It's from your brother. He asked me to tell you that he misses you, but that he wants you to be strong for your parents and to be brave. Okay?" The boy looked at her in shock.

"Okay," he said weakly, turning back to his brother. "I will be." she heard him whisper as she walked away.

"Mrs. Weasley?" Lauren asked. Molly looked up. Not an hour ago, Lauren had been a broken mess that even Molly Weasley didn't know how to fix. But now she was partially back to her old self. She didn't know why, but Molly sure wasn't going to spoil it.

"Yes?" she asked.

"I have a message for you." Lauren declared. "Dear Molly," she recited. "Don't worry. We'll take care of Fred just like you've taken care of our little ones over the years, Sincerely, Lily and Anna." Molly stared at Lauren for a moment before standing up and hugging her.

"Harry?" Lauren said tentatively. Harry turned to look at her. "I have a message for you."

"Go on," Harry insisted.

"I quote," she replied. "You better take good care of Teddy or else. And Harry, if you put Nymphadora on my gravestone, I'm coming back down here and I'll haunt your ass. Love, Tonks." Harry stared at her in disbelief.

"And Harry," Lauren continued. "Thank you."

"For what?" he asked.

"Just....Thanks." she insisted, walking away.

19 Years Later.....

Lily Lauren Potter spotted the strange person first. There was a lady leaning up against one of the pillars. She was wearing a weird sisters T-shirt and had a knife strapped to her waist. There was a large, intricate tattoo of a rose on her arm. On each of the rose's thorns, there was a name. Lily could make out some from where she stood. Sirius, Colin, Remus, Tonks, Alastor, Fred, Marian. Lily frowned. How come this strange lady had Teddy's parents names tattooed on her arm? Or her brother's middle name? Or her cousin's name? She tugged on her father's arm.

"Daddy," Lily asked. Harry glanced down at his daughter as she pointed across the station. "Who's that?" Harry looked over to where she was pointing and froze. That blonde hair, those blue lightning eyes, the dagger.....Could it be? Leaving Lily with Ginny, Harry slowly walked over towards the person. He blinked, and when he looked at the pillar again, she was gone.

"Harry. James. Potter. Man, you're a lot uglier than I remember." a familiar voice rang out. Harry whipped around to see the strange woman standing in front of him with a grin.

" 'ello Harry," she greeted him. There was no denying it.

"Lauren," Harry said, pulling her into a hug. "Where have you been?" he demanded. She grinned at him.

"The U. S. of A. if you can believe it. Figured I should come back before I lose my accent." she explained.

"How are you?" he asked more seriously.

"I'm...." she trailed off, thinking. "Well. I'm not good, I'm not great. I'm not bad or horrible either. Not really fine. But I'm...I'm well."
