Hey guys. I don't mean to depress you or make you feel bad during the holidays but I thought I should say something. I am putting this on all my works to get it out there. In my town, there is a little, elementary school girl named Lyla. She had cancer. A couple years ago we had a football game dedicated to her. It was a fundraiser to help her and her family. She got all dressed up and everyone treated her like a princess. Her entire class and her walked around the track at the field and everyone cheered her on. There was even fireworks. Now for the sad part. A few weeks ago the doctors sent her home. There weren't any more treatments. Lyla passed away on Christmas Day. Now there are purple ribbons all around town in her honor. I didn't know Lyla but I thought you guys should be aware of this. Prayers for Lyla.
