Summer has ended and that means a new school year in late August. It was Y/N's junior year, meaning Aaron has gone to college already. Gene also graduated but ended up working at Hot Topic. Walking up the stairs towards the front of the school, she bumped into a certain blue haired boy and both fell on their butts. Grunting Y/N stood up dusting off her skirt and glared at the boy on the ground until she noticed that he looked familiar.

Y/N: Kacey?

Kacey: I'm so so sorry! I didn't mean to bump into you! I'm so- wait, Y/N?!

Y/N: I knew you had to be him. You look almost exactly like Katelyn

Kacey: i get that a lot

Y/N: well, I gotta get going. Have fun on your first day

Waving bye at each other, she noticed that the school doors were opened, she walked in and texted Dante to see where he was at.

You: hey, where are you??

Not responding for a few minutes she decided to go get her schedule at the registers. She went to the junior section and saw that there wasn't a big line so she went and grabbed her schedule. 'I have Algebra 2? Gross'

She felt her phone buzz, indicating a text. She checked it and saw it was Dante.

Dante: morning! I'm with Travis by the registers! Come over! I see you!

She looked around and saw Dante and Travis sitting down by a table that had Dante's 'how to get a girl' book. She mentally facepalmed and walked over to them with a disappointed look.

Dante: hi Y/N! How was your summer?

Y/N: I spent it with you two, so you should know how it went

Travis: actually you spent it more with Gene

Dante: speaking of Gene! He wants a picture of you!

Before Y/N could react, he took a picture making the flash blind her for a bit. She rubbed her eyes as she heard the text being sent.

Y/N: Dante!

Dante: aaaaaaaand sent!

Y/N: I can't believe you sometimes

Travis: did you get your schedule already?

Y/N: yeah I did, here

She hands out her schedule to the boys by placing it on the table. Both of then comparing, they lit up not even a minute looking into it.

Dante: Y/N! I have almost all classes with you again! Even homeroom!

Travis: and I have homeroom with you guys too!

Y/N: wait really? But you're just a sophomore...?

Dante: who cares! This is awesome!

Y/N smiled at the two of her only friends. Ivy was walking by with her cousin and pushed Y/N to make her fall against the table.

Ivy: watch where you're going loner!

Walking away while laughing Y/N just decided to ignore the two and sigh.

Dante: you should really beat her up. She's annoying, Gene would bring her over last year and irene I never in my life wanted to die

Travis: Dante! You can't say things like that!

Y/N: thanks for the advice? I'm gonna get going, I'll see you two in homeroom

Its the club orientations at the soccer field. Y/N was forced to go since Dante wanted support for the baseball team. Sitting beside the baseball booth, Dante and Y/N  were talking and laughing as Garroth wasnt getting any luck on people joining.

Dante: and then he fell face flat to the floor! It was hilarious!

Y/N was clutching her stomach with her arms as Dante finished his story.

Garroth: Dante! You're supposed to be helping me instead of telling a story about your cousin!

Dante: how am I supposed to help if no one is even coming over?

Garroth: that's exactly my point!

Y/N: well, I'm gonna look around if you guys don't mind. Later Dante, I'll see you in class

Dante: bye Y/N! Remember, meet me and Travis by the bleachers for lunch!

Y/N nodded and walked away. Looking at a booth for cooking, Katelyn tackled her to the ground while hugging her.

Katelyn: Y/N! It's been literally all summer since I've seen you!

Standing up and dusting her skirt she half smiled at Katelyn.

Y/N: yeah sorry, I was spending most of my time at my house. Playing video games

Katelyn: sounds boring, hey! You haven't met my little brother have you?

She shook her head. Katelyn grabbed a boy next to her who was looking at the debate booth and brought him closer to her in a protective way.

Katelyn: Y/N meet Kacey. Kacey meet Y/N. She's a junior like me so if you need help around here you can go to her!

Y/N: hey

Kacey: h-hi

Katelyn: he's going to sign up for the soccer team! You should too Y/N, Laurance wouldn't stop looking for you all morning

Y/N's smile turned into a frown and scoffed.

Y/N: is that so?

Katelyn: yeah, he was being annoying but he's at the soccer booth. I'll meet you there! Come on little bro!

Katelyn grabbed Kacey's hand and dragged him to the soccer booth. Y/N stayed behind and continued to look through the booths.

While getting cornered by fangirls, Laurance saw someone through the crowd and saw it was Y/N.

Random chick: oh Laurance you're so handsome!

Other random chick: you made me love soccer!

Laurance: hehehe, that's great but if youre not gonna join it because you think I'm cute then I don't want you in my team

Katelyn: move aside, move aside! I actually got someone who wants to join!

The fangirls left, angry that Katelyn got in their way.

Laurance: thanks, you saved me Katelyn. Now i gotta say hi to someone

Katelyn: oh no you dont, I want to sign up my brother Kacey here in your team!

Laurance: sure, let's just make it rea-

Garroth: Laurance! My best friend! I want to sign up Vylad for your team!

Katelyn: move out of the way Garroth!

Garroth and Katelyn started bickering while Kacey and Vylad just walked away. Laurance was stuck with Garroth and Katelyn and saw Y/N walk further away. Getting irritated he yelled to shut the bickering friends. They stopped and looked at Laurance.

Laurance: first of all, they need to go to try outs. Second, you guys made me loose Y/N and now I don't know where she is

Garroth: it's not like she even wants to see you

He mumbled. Laurance turned his head to look at Garroth.

Laurance: what did you say?

Garroth: you heard me

Katelyn: woah Garroth, what's gotten into you?

Garroth: ask her yourself, I'm not taking a part of this

Garroth walked away leaving a curious Laurance and a confused Katelyn at the sudden change of tone in Garroth.

While in werewolf class, Y/N sat at the right corner of the room, away from everyone else. As she was repeatedly clicking her pen, a werewolf with red hair and two different eye colors approached her and slammed his hands against her desk.

Blaze: hey you! Are you the beta?

Y/N looked up at him annoyed and stopped clicking her pen and set it down harshly and crossed her arms.

Y/N: what's it to you? You gonna challenge me?

Blaze: no more like, I'm your beta male!

Y/N: huh?

Blaze: you see, they made me beta because I'm the closest to being Alpha. But now that there isn't a position for Alpha I'll have to compete for it!

Y/N: ok that's cool and all but why tell me this?

Blaze: because you're second in command and the alpha female is having a hard time choosing soooo-

Y/N: lets get one thing straight. I'm not the alpha female, if she isn't making a decision right now then neither am I

Blaze: aw man! What's your name by the way?

Y/N: that's none of your concern

Blaze: oh come on, if I'm gonna be your beta male I gotta at least know your name

Y/N sighed as she looked directly into the werewolves eyes. She noticed a scar across his nose but ignored it.

Y/N: it's Y/N

Blaze: that's a pretty cool name, my name is Blaze! We should be friends! You look like a really cool dude

Y/N: um, thanks?

Mr. Gaven: alright class, take a seat! Class is about to start!

Shopping at the mall, Y/N decided to go to Hot Topic to visit Gene since he started working there. Walking in, she looked at the piercings in the plastic containers at the entrance of the store. She noticed how it wasn't that full in the store so she walked to where the cashiers is until she saw a certain werewolf with blue tips and a white top with a blue hoodie. She hid behind a shelf as she heard his conversation with Gene.

Ein: did you get the pictures?

Gene: here

He places a printed out picture of Aphmau on the counter in front of Ein.

Ein: this isn't what I asked for

Gene: well it's the only thing my team was able to gather

Y/N trying to hear better, she accidentally bumped into a small shelf of necklaces and bracelets and made them drop. Ein and Gene both look at the direction the noise came from and both saw Y/N picking up the fallen jewelry. Ein walked up to Y/N and grabbed the collar of her shirt and brought her close to him.

Ein: what is it that you heard, beta?

Gene: hey, you better let go of her!

Ein: answer me!

Y/N: I got nothing to answer to

Ein: if you dont tell me what you heard I'll-

Y/N: you'll what? Just cause you're Alpha now doesn't mean you can boss me around after school

Ein slapped Y/N right on the cheek making her fall to the floor with her cheek stinging in pain.

Gene: Y/N!

Ein: you better not say a word or I'll do worse to you

He walked passed her as she was on the ground with her hand against her cheek and left the store. Gene got out from behind the counter and ran to Y/N.

Gene: hey, let me see your cheek

Y/N didn't move, she felt like her eyes were red. She pushed Gene back and ran out the store.

She made it to her house to see that no one was home. She walked up the stairs and into her room to only slam the door and bury her face into her pillow. Grabbing her pillow in frustration she ripped it in half making pillow stuffing go everywhere.

If her eyes weren't red before... they definitely are now. Trying to calm down, her phone started ringing from her pocket. She grabbed thr phone and without even looking at who's calling, she answered.

Y/N: what?!

Laurance: am I calling at a bad time?

Y/N: oh, it's you. What do you want?

Laurance: geez, I thought you would be more than happy to hear me. But anyways, i wanted to know if you want to come over right now. I have chocolate cake! I know you're not a big fan of it but I mean, we can eat it together

Y/N: sure? Imma take a while though, I need to fix something

Laurance: it's fine, I'll be here!

Laurance hanged up. Y/N sighed as she layed back in her bed full of scattered pillow stuffing.

Y/N: how could I still have feelings for the guy?

She stood up from her bed and went over to her mirror to see her eyes are no longer red. But the red mark of Ein's hand is still there, the skin from thr impact popping up. She lightly touched it and winced. Picking uo her house keys and phone, she left the house to Laurance's house.

She rang the doorbell to the green house and saw Laurance opening the door.

Laurance: Y/N! Oh my Irene, it's been a while. Come in!

Y/N found him a little weird but went inside anyways. They both went up to his room, Laurance sat on his bed and Y/N on his desk chair.

Laurance: so, how's life? It sucks that I didn't get any classes with you this year

Y/N: yeah.... it does

Laurance: why do you look like you dont wanna talk to me?

Y/N: I dont know Laurance, maybe because it took you almost the entire school year to barely talk to me. I'm not stupid, you called me here cause you want a favor and depending on what it is, don't be wasting my time

Laurance sighed in defeat and smiled at her.

Laurance: still smart as ever. But yeah, I did want to ask you for a favor

Y/N: what is it?

Laurance: can you be my girlfriend?
