Y/N was sitting on the sand while Laurence was in the water. Sylvana walked towards them with Erick.

Sylvana: Laurence! You're looking very handsome today and your father says hi. And Y/N you look so... cuuuuute!

Y/N blushed and slightly whimpered as she lowered her head down. Laurence chuckled.

Laurence: did my father tell you how he's doing?

Sylavana: he said that everything going fine. He said something about your little brother recently turned 1 or something like that

Laurence got out of the water and stood in front of Sylvana Solana and Erick.

Laurence: Caleb is already 1 huh? I need to call my father later to wish him happy birthday. How have you been Sylvana?

Sylvana: oh it's been nice and relaxing. I've been working on my tan

Laurence: well I see some process

No I don't

Laurence: so Erick, how about you? Been relaxing?

Erick: well at first I was all for this vacation but then there was a small pick up and everything

Laurence: a small pick up? What do you mean?

Travis: Laurence?!

Laurence: huh?

Laurence looked over to his right and saw Katelyn and Travis standing next to each other. Laurence's eyes widened when he saw the 'couple'.

Laurence: T-travis?! Katelyn?!

Travis and Laurence asked 'what are you doing here?' at the same time. Both surprised, but Katelyn was just getting amused by what was going on.

Travis: you've got some explaining to do!

Laurence: I dont know what's going on

Y/N stood up from the sand and walked next to Laurence.

Erick: they're dating...

Laurence smirked and arched an eyebrow.

Laurence: ohhh

Y/N: looks like you're the ones who need to do the explanation

Katelyn and Travis eyes widened when they noticed Y/N.

Katelyn: um, why are you wearing a werewolves ears and tail?

Y/N slowly walked behind Laurence.

Laurence: oh yeah! We uh... we've got some explaining to do

Travis: what's going on? Why is Y/N's family wearing werewolf stuff? First Aaron and now her?

Katelyn: this is weird

Sylvana: ok! Well, we'll leave you crazy kids alone! Come on Erick! Let's go swimming!

Erick: aww but I wanna see how this plays out!

Sylvana: now Erick!

Erick: oh fine

Travis: Laurence seriously, what is going on? This is really creepy. Never did I imagine Y/N would be into werewolves

Katelyn: yeah I've seen weird things before but this is just the weirdest

Y/N let out a stressful sigh, still hiding behind Laurence. Laurence looked back at Y/N and sighed as well.

Laurence: i guess we were gonna tell them someday

Y/N: Laurence...

Laurence cupped Y/N's cheek as she looked up at him, slight fear in her eyes.

Laurence: it's okay Y/N

Laurence let go of her cheek and turned to the couple.

Laurence: Travis... Katelyn... this... is going to be a very serious and difficult topic to have with you guys. But I guess you deserve to know. Y/N...

Laurence looked back at her and they made eye contact with each other. Laurence giving Y/N the look that it's going to be okay and that she shouldn't be scared. She nodded and he continued.

Laurence: is a werewolf

Katelyn and Travis started laughing.

Travis: that's a good One!

Katelyn: that won't get old

Laurence started feeling a little irritated at their laughing.

Laurence: i would appreciate it if you guys didn't laugh. I'm serious

Katelyn and Travis heard the slight irritation in his voice. His face said it all, he was mad. Beyond mad. He didn't like it when they laughed at his beloved fiance for being different than before.

Travis: wait... Laurence never sounds this serious

Katelyn: unless its-

Laurence: Y/N.. is.. a.. werewolf

Katelyn: you're joking, you have to be

Laurence: do I sound like I'm joking? Why do you think she was gone for a whole damn year? This is Y/N, and it's always been Y/N

Katelyn: sh-she's a werewolf? How?

Y/N, still behind Laurence, had her head down not wanting to make any eye contact with Katelyn, and especially Travis.

Y/N: i hid my ears and tail my entire life. I've never had them but-

Travis: wait wait wait, so you... wh... why would you do that?

Laurence: it was her choice, over the past year she spent time with her family, this was a result of what happened when she went to the lodge a year ago...

Travis: to be honest, i suspected something was up when everyone told me you two weren't seeing each other for a year. When you told me Y/N was at a business thing with her parents, it was obvious that something was definitely wrong. I guess it's just, Katelyn and I weren't expecting this

Katelyn: y-yeah

Travis: well, we'll drop the issue for now. It seems like this is a sensitive topic and-

Laurence: it is

Y/N: i was hoping to take this summer on how to approach everyone else about this

Travis: it's okay Y/N, Katelyn and I just need some time to process this, for now we'll try to treat you like you're still Y/N

Laurence: she is still Y/N!

Travis: i know but again we're-

Katelyn: still in shock

Travis: yeah. So anyway! It's great to see you guys! We've missed Y/N's pancakes and scolding

Katelyn: yeah... yeah! It's great to see you guys here!

Laurence: yeah so what's this about you guys dating?

Katelyn: uhhhh ahhhhh

Travis: it's not like we're official or anything, we're just-

Katelyn: it's a long story! Hey how about we take a break and take this all in yeah? That way we can get our story in order too

Laurence: yeah i guess, sounds good

Travis: well we'll catch up with you guys later! We'll come back later!

Travis took one last look at Y/N, before running off with Katelyn.

Laurence: yeah... we'll see you later

Y/N had her back facing Laurence, her head down with a million doubts and thoughts running through her head. Laurence turned to face her and he hugged her.

Laurence: Y/N...

Y/N: they won't look at me the same like they did before... Katelyn was always protective of me even though I never wanted to talk to anyone in high school. Now she looks at me like I'm some kind of freak

Laurence: they may not see you the same but i know for sure that they don't see you as a freak

Y/N whimpered and turned her head to avoid eye contact.

Laurence: Y/N, I'm really sorry it's just... for them and for me, they have no idea what happened a year ago at the lodge. So, taking this in... is going to be really difficult for them. Especially since they have no idea that you're an Ultima

Y/N: i know that, it's just... this is different for me. Katelyn and Travis, they both had fear in their eyes... especially Katelyn

Laurence: they're just worried, we'll try to explain more later okay? For now let's just accept the fact that they're surprisingly dating and that they're here... okay sunflower?

Y/N nodded slowly. Laurence smiled and gave her a peck in the lips.

Laurence: I'm here with you Y/N, always

Y/N: yeah you are here, i see you very clearly with my eyes

Y/N hugged Laurence and wrapped her arms around his neck. Laurence hugged back and used his right hand to start petting Y/N from behind the ear.

Y/N: are you petting me?!

Laurence: well you are very soft and fluffy

Y/N: wanna head back and grab a bite to eat?

Laurence: sure I am hungry

They walked back to the house and made some food. They brought the food with them to their room and they say on the bed. Laurence had been having a lot of questions running around his head. He wanted to feel how it was like to be a werewolf. Even if it didn't last long, he wanted to know her pain.

Laurence just stared at his food, he looked over to Y/N and noticed her teeth didn't have the fangs she talked about. Laurence hesitated but he asked anyways.

Laurence: Y/N?

Y/N: what's up?

Laurence: i was thinking if you can.... bite me

Y/N only stared at him, her ears twitched and her tail stopped wagging.

Y/N: wh-what do you mean bite you?

Laurence: can you turn me into a werewolf?
