~Laurence's P.O.V~

I was sitting in a plane with Melissa in front of me. I kept looking out the window thinking about how im actually going to see Y/N after a whole year. I don't even know if I'm mentally prepared for this.

Laurence: wow, the ocean looks so nice

Melissa: all we've seen is ocean for the past 12 hours! How does it look more nice than all the other oceans we've seen?

Laurence: it's a nice shade of blue than the rest of it

Melissa: mhmm aaaand...?

Laurence: the closer we get the more excited i am! I can't help it! I'm really happy right now! I'm gonna see Y/N and you have no idea... how much longer until we get there?

Melissa: well you won't have to wait much longer, if you look out the left window you'll get to see the island from the plane

Laurence: really?!

Melissa: mmmhm not that many people get to see this view of the Starlight park since boat is the way people usually travel, but you get to see it first hand

I squealed and ran to the window. I had my face smushed against the window to look at it. It was huge with lots of cabins and trees.

Laurence: oh my Irene! It's there! Y/N is on that island! *gasp* I think I see her! Oh no wait, that's a boat

Melissa: you're so cute, mmm we're like 10,000 feet in the air, everything is going to be hard to make out from up here in the sky. Speaking of make out, what are you planning to do when you see Y/N for the first time?

Laurence: i don't know I- Melissa!!! Not this again!

Melissa: whaaat?! Come on in curious!

I squint my eyes in a very uninterested way.

Melissa: how do you think you're going to react with her?

Laurence: easy, I- uh I... just, I I'll... I have no idea!! I didn't think this far!

Melissa: Laurence, you okay?

Laurence: I'll be back, i have to use the bathroom! And I need this!

I grabbed my phone and ran into the bathroom.

Melissa: uh...ok?

I called Garroth and he answered. I started squealing quietly.

Laurence: Garroth! I can't believe I'm here at Starlight! It's not Paris but I'm seeing Y/N I'm a few hours! So you realise how big this is!

Garroth: yup! Plus Y/N

Laurence: it's been one whole year since we last seen each other in person! What if she looks different?! What if i look different?! Did i lose muscle since I last saw her?! I knew i should've gone to the gym more! What if she doesn't find me attractive anymore because I'm a human?

Garroth: well that means I have a chance to get with her heheheh

Laurence: don't you even da-

Speaker: attention passengers, we are now making final preparations for landing. We will be arriving at the Starlight Resort in 30 minutes

Laurence: ahhhhh!!

I heard the door open and see Melissa.

Melissa: Laurence?

Laurence: Melissa!! How do you know I wasn't using the bathroom just now?!

Melissa: well you see I'm a werewolf so with these ears i can hear slightly better than my human, also you're kinda screaming out your emotions everywhere

Laurence: Garroth i gotta go

I hanged up and looked at Melissa.

Laurence: Melissa... What am I going to do?

Melissa: hmmm... follow me!

I followed her next to a window.

Melissa: look out there, down on that island is somebody who has been waiting to see you. I can't help you with how you feel but i can assure you that she wants to see you just as bad as you want to see her. So whatever happens just let it happen!

Laurence: I'm really nervous

Melissa: hmm... well here! How about this, let's fix up your hair and help you look a little more stylish! That will at least give you some more confidence

Laurence: do you even know how to fix guys hair?

Melissa: i have a brother i used to take care of when he was smaller, of course I know how! Come on, let's get you fixed up! That way when you see Y/N you wont question it, just do the first thing that comes to mind! Hurry before we land!

The plane had landed and we boarded off the plane.

Melissa: we are here!

I was looking around and i saw Y/N's dad talking to someone who works here. I walked up to him and tapped his shoulder. He turned around and his face lit up.

Derek: Laurence!!

Melissa: hey dad

Derek: there you are Melissa, a little late aren't you?

Melissa: hey! We had shopping emergency to take care of

Derek: *sighs* Y/N was waiting for a while you know

Laurence: wait she was?

Melissa: what's a few more hours! Besides, i wanted Laurence here to look his best for when he meets Y/N!

Laurence: speaking of which, where is Y/N?

Derek: oh... well she had a physical therapy session she had to attend to. She was going to skip it and wait for you but i wasn't going to have that

Melissa: daaaad!! What did you do?!

Derek: I might have thrown her back to that house

Melissa: how is that supposed to help her recovery?!

Derek: she's just about done with the sessions anyways! Besides, she keeps getting lost here! I was just helping her find ger way back to her place

Melissa: ughh, yeah that's a good point, it is easy to get lost here. All these knew scents make it hard to find anything around here

Laurence: i see... wait- you guys are werewolves!

They both looked at each other and stayed quiet.

Melissa: ummm... yeaaah?

Derek: we've always been

Laurence: no no no, that's not what i mean I mean your ears and tail are showing! Don't you guys hide them from everyone? Everyone can see them-

Derek: ohhh!

Derek started laughing.

Derek: yeah, right I forgot. You see Laurence, this past year with Y/N has been rather interesting, we've been trying to brace who we are as a family. Which means living in the fact that we're werewolves

Melissa: that means our ears and tails are out almost all the time! We wanted to make sure she didn't feel alone while she adjusted to this new part of her life. Shes basically learning how to live again, also she hasn't the only one who was new to all of this

Melissa looked at Derek and he dropped his head slowly and groaned quietly.

Melissa: Y/N and Aaron helped a little someone else accept who they were as well

Derek: enough of that!

Melissa: anyway! Because we are known from so many as humans back at home we have to be careful about how we go showing this part of ourselves

Derek: exactly, but here no one knows us! So we're using a different last name to hide who we are, so we can show we're werewolves as we please! Now lets find Y/N, here Laurence let me throw you to the house

Melissa: great idea dad! I mean- wait he's not a werewolf!

Laurence: i thought they only break windows

Derek: but you said he wears ears and a tail to bed

Laurence: Melissa!!

Melissa: dad! Shush! I never said that!

Laurence: can i please just go see Y/N?

Melissa: alright fine let's go. Speaking of which dad, what is the fake last name you gave us?

Worker: ah! There you are Mr. Wolfware I got the extra keys for the house you asked for

Derek: perfect! Thank you

Melissa: really dad?! Mr. Wolfware?!

Derek: whaaat? I thought it sounded cool! Company name for underwear or something

Melissa: ugh it's bad enough our real last name is Lycan, now you're just making it obvious

Melissa walked away passing by Derek.

Derek: princess! Come on!

Laurence: i think it sounds cool

Derek: girls, she'll get over it. In the mean time let me help you with your things

Laurence: it's okay Mr. Wolfware

Derek: I'm going to regret this aren't I?

Laurence: depends

I grabbed my suitcase and we started walking to the house we're staying in.

We arrived at this big red house. I was amazed by the beauty of this place I didn't realize that Melissa and Derek were waiting for me by the door.

I walked in and looked around.

Laurence: woow, this is all for us?

Melissa: uhuh! Oh and check this out!

She went to the coffee table and saw it filled with my favorite soda. (I'm going to use a random soda.)

Melissa: she got all this just for you!

Laurence: for me?

Derek: yup! Stole half of them from me when she thought I wasn't looking. I was looking the entire time

Melissa: oh shut up dad! Anyway, that's not all!

She took me to the pool outside.

Melissa: pool area!

She dragged me to another room.

Melissa: luxury bathroom!

She took me to the kitchen. Then a mini bar. Another luxury bathroom. Showed me a big tv.

Melissa: and finally!

She opened doors to another room and jumped on a bed.

Melissa: your bedroom

She winked and I started blushing.

Derek: as you can see we spared no expense to make sure you guys are comfortable

Laurence: i-I appreciate it, really Mr. Lycan this is too much

Melissa: but this bed is really comfortable!

Laurence: would you-

Rachael: Derek there you are! I just fixed up the rest of the bedroom! This will be the perfect place for them to make pups I-...

I looked at Y/N's mom awkwardly. She slowly turned her head towards me and made an O shape on her mouth.

Rachael: ohhh, he's heeeeere

Derek: Rachael!

Melissa: mom!

Rachael: I'm leaving!

She ran out the door. The room filled with shaking heads and silence. The door opened again to reveal Y/N's mom.

Rachael: i want to be a grandma

She left and the room was silent again with the werewolves shaking their heads.

Derek: ughhh! Ignore my crazy wife

Rachael from another room: i heard that!

I felt my face hotter than the sun.

Laurence: can I just die?

Derek: Laurence, you're going to be at Starlight all summer. You'll have more than enough time to make use of the space here, and this isnt even the best part! There's still all the parts of Starlight to explore! This island is just the first one, besides we got this house for a good reason

Laurence: what?

I heard barking and a white dog came barking in. I recognized it and its Alexander.

Laurence: Alexander! You're here- wait, how is Alexander here, he stays with Aphmau's mom

Melissa started giggling.

Laurence: wait... *gasp* noo, you guys didn't. Take me to them boy

He barked and ran out the door. I ran after him. He led me up some stairs and once i made it up I saw Zane, Garroth, Lucinda, Aphmau, Aaron, Silvana, and Erick. They yelled surprise and threw confetti at me. I stayed there in shock.

Laurence: Aaron?! What are you guys doing here?

Derek: we invited them, like i said the reason this place is so big, there's enough room for all your friends!

Rachael: we wanted you to be comfortable here, and be around those you care for

Melissa giggled again.

Melissa: a surprise for you and Y/N!

Derek: after everything that happened back at that lodge, we felt terrible. We were the reason why everyone was sent there, you all could've seriously been-

Silvana: let's try not to talk about that shall we? Those are sad times that we are all getting through together

Laurence: its so nice of you guys but I thought you guys were going on a camping trip?

Lucinda: well it wouldn't be much of a surprise if you knew we were coming here

Garroth: exactly! Besides, we wanted to come to Starlight too

Lucinda punched Garroth in the arm. He grabbed his arm.

Garroth: owww

Lucinda: we wanted to be here to support you and Y/N

Silvana: Awww Laurence! You look so handsome! Come, let's get you something to eat

Laurence: but i-

Zane: that reminds me, b-be right back, i gotta gooo... feed my cat

Garroth: cat?

Zane stared at Garroth and grabbed his food.

Garroth: hey my food! Stupid cat!

~Zane's P.O.V~

(I WANT TO SEE MY SHIP SAIL)

I walked down the stairs holding the food I took from Garroth. I walked into my room and locked the door. I turned to walk to a very tall pink luggage. I put the food on a table.

Zane: i got food for you! You can come out

The luggage opened and Kawaii-chan fell out. She made a loud noise and sighed.

Zane: shhh! Keep it down! Do you know how much trouble we're going to get into if they find out i snuck you into this place?!

Kawaii-chan: oh sorry Zane-kun. But im glad you brought me and im glad you brought me fooood!

Zane: you're glad?! You said you'd tell everyone about Aaron and Y/N being a werewolf if i didn't bring you here!

Kawaii-chan: Kawaii-chan didn't really mean it. She just wanted to see (ship name with you and Laurence) for the first time in a year!! She wasn't going to miss this!

Zane: ughhh yoouuu-

Kawaii-chan sneezed rather loudly.

Zane: Kawaii-chan! Shhh!

Kawaii-chan: Kawaii-chanis just a little stuffed up, again thank you for bringing me

Zane: yeah yeah but you gotta listen to everything i say, well at least I can get us a ticket for you to be here! Derek went through a lot of trouble to set things up and he only invited so many people

Kawaii-chan: so what is Kawaii-chan going to do?

Zane: hmmm.... here, you can live in this bathroom until i figure something out

Kawaii-chan: B-But you're rooming with Garroth-kun, wouldn't Garroth find me here?

Zane: No, Garroth is smart but he can be oblivious sometimes, he'll get distracted by the mirror and won't notice you. As long as you keep quiet and don't make noise we can figure something out

Kawaii-chan's looked down at her stomach growling. I sighed.

Zane: just go eat

Kawaii-chan: yaaay!

She started eating the food i left for her on the table.

Zane: get in the bathroom and I'll try to get you some dessert, h-here have a pill mint until then

I gave her the candy and she got excited.

Kawaii-chan: minty chocolate!

~Laurence's P.O.V~

Everyone is here parting, making a cookout. I'm by the rail looking around the island, hoping to see Y/N soon. Aaron and Aphmau are together already, so why can't I see her already?

Garroth: Laurence? Are you okay?

Laurence: i haven't seen Y/N in a year and now she can walk in at any moment, I'm a nervous wreck!

Garroth: wait, what would you be nervous about?

Laurence: i... just wonder if she's... changed

Garroth: huh?

Melissa: hey Laurence! Can i steal you for a sec?

Laurence: uh yeah

We walked away from Garroth and stopped by the stairs.

Melissa: ok! So, Laurence! Y/N is going to get out of her physical therapy in about 20 minutes. I was thinking maybe you could surprise her when she gets out

Laurence: oh my Irene yes!

Melissa: perfect! Now all you have to do is go two houses to the right and then take the....

I'm going to see Y/N for the first time in forever! I hope I look hot. I'm so nervous.

Melissa: you got all that?

Laurence: absolutely! I'll go catch her right now, thanks Melissa!

I ran down the stairs and left the house, i took Alexander with me.

I had been running around not knowing where im going. I stopped by a pond.

Laurence: where is this place, can you find her boy?

He barked and sniffed the ground a little before he started whimpering.

Laurence: I'm guessing too many smells. Melissa and Derek were talking about that, then i guess I'll have to go find her on my own! Follow me boy!

I started running straight again with Alexander following behind me. I had stopped by a few buildings and looked around.

I should've listened. I should've payed more attention.

I stopped by a big water fountain and no sign of her. I need to be here for her. I need to be stronger.

I ran again and stopped at a bridge. I can officially say that i am lost.

(Play song now)

I ran again and ended up at the beach. I sighed and sat down on the sand. With my knees bent up I crossed my arms and put them on my knees, resting my chin on my arms.

Laurence: she's hurt, because I wasn't there for her, because I wasn't strong enough.... She she just wanted everyone to be happy again, even if it hurt her

I at this point I felt tears running down both of my cheeks. Alexander whimpered and cuddled next to me on my left.

We stayed like that for a few minutes before Alexander started barking and ran towards something. I picked my head up and look towards where he went and there i saw her.

She smiled and was petting Alexander. She stopped petting him and looked at me.

Her beautiful H/C hair moving with the wind. A strand of hair was swaying on her face. She pulled it behind her ear and I saw tears form in her eyes.

My eyes got very watery at the sight of her. She was wearing a F/C midriff top and a long skirt.

I stayed in place and I opened my arms wide for her. She hesitated before running at me and hugged me.

As she hugged me I picked her up and spun her around. I set her back down on the ground we held each other's hand.

I put my hand on her cheek and looked at her wolf ears, i looked at the rest of her stomach and saw scratches and scars. I closed my eyes trying to hold back the tears but I felt a hand on my cheek. I opened my eyes and see Y/N looking up at me smiling but tears still running down her cheeks. I smiled and hugged her, hoping that this would never ever happen again.
