On her way to breakfast she realized something, one very important thing. She was lost.
She wandered the halls that seemingly didn't have a single sign pointing her where to go to get the cafeteria.
She roams through the halls wishing she left a trail of breadcrumbs when she first got there.

"This place is like a maze" she mumbles to herself. "Hallways branch off into hallways and there isn't a single sign or a map to explain this madness" she continues. She finally finds a board on the wall thinking it's salvation she rushes over. To her disappointment it's a board with all sorts of pictures pinned to it. She goes back to wandering until she runs into someone.

She backs up and gets a look at the person while letting out as many apologies as she could get out of her mouth. It was a tall female worker with short blonde hair and little cat paw ear rings. "Hey remember me?" She greeted. She shakes her head confused. "Wha really? I was the one who lead you to your room last night." She explained. She couldn't help but let out a quiet "oh" and mumble a sorry.

"Well anyways what are you doing out here? Didn't you hear the wake up call for breakfast?" She asks with a quizzical look. "I-I'm lost"
The worker laughs "well why don't you follow me? I'm heading there now anyways" she proposes. "Yes please" she let's out. "Well it's this way" she chuckles walking in the opposite way as she was.

As they walked she noticed the worker was wearing a name tag and it read "lily" she then realized she read it out loud when the worker looks over and states "yep that's me"

then after a brief pause she asks "what's your name?" And she went to respond but it came up blank. She had to do some mind searching to come up with it "Clair" she responds with. "Clair? That's a pretty name" lily compliments.
"Lily's a nice name too" Clair responds trying to keep up with her walking pace. "Thanks I was named after my grandmother" lily states

Before Clair could respond lily stops with a "Well here we are" and Clair looks up to see the cafeteria sign. Clair idles for a moment and takes a hesitant step. "Oh come one there's no reason to be afraid" lily encourages giving her a slight push forward. "Here I'll lead you to the line" lily says walking with a follow gesture. Clair considers finding her way back to her room but her growling stomach made her follow lily.

Clair catches up and lily puts a large plastic tray in her hands "here now you follow the line and you either grab what you want, or tell the lunch lady's what you want" lily explains. "Got it" Clair mumbles nervously. "You'll do great" lily says patting her shoulder and walking off.

Clair nervously follows the line in silence until she's caught off guard by a "hey your one of the new kids!" From behind her. She spins around as quickly as she can to see a fellow child with a food tray she can't respond before they continue "I saw you getting off the bus yesterday! What's your story? Huh?" They would have kept going until they were interrupted by a girl with short blonde hair "leave the new kid alone.." she says "jeez fine" the first kid says

Clair goes back to looking at all the food they had out in the line and then there was some behind glass in containers she guesses that's the stuff you have to ask the lunch lady's for. There's no way she could just ask them she'll have to work with what they have set out. After standing in the line once or twice she ends up with a sandwich still in the wrapper and a small carton of milk. "This will work." She mumbles, "this will have to work" she adds.

"Next is to sit down at a table.. and eat." Clair says as she walks herself through this.
She then sat at an empty table. It was fine nothing to note she didn't really pay attention to the food she was eating but then suddenly the children started swarming her at the table with "woah its one of the new kids!" And etc.

She's swarmed with a bunch of questions to the point she just tunes them out until she hears one she likes "are you heading to the park?" She looks up at the one who asked it and questions "there's a park?" The kid then responds with "yeah on the roof! The stairs up to it are outside by the entrance" her eyes light up and she quickly finishes her food and then hops out of her seat.

Clair then heads outside in search for the stairs up to the park.
