"Hey Yoongi" Jimin greeted when he entered the house.

They had planned a study session together since they're in the same year. The final exams were nearing and they needed to score well if they wanted to be accepted in the colleges they'll apply to.

Jimin had extra pressure on his shoulders because he was determined on getting a scholarship too. He spent most of his free mornings studying for this and he wasn't going to let anything distract him at this point.

Not even the fiasco with Jungkook.

It's been about a week and a half since he was kicked out of the groupchat. Jimin tried to talk to him and reassure him that Tae will come around once he calms down a little, that he'll listen if he tries to reach out. But they've both been ignoring each other ever since. Children truly.

Jungkook duely apologized to each of the others in their private chats, talking their feelings through and sorting their differences. He began with Yoongi, promising to make it up to him. Jin and Namjoon were the most understanding despite how hostile Jin sounded in the chat, they've seen Jungkook almost everyday since.

Hoseok was still a bit angry with him though, but it's mostly because he's someone who cares deeply, and he was very hurt by Jungkook's nonchalance towards him. He still hasn't opened up completely to the taller but he's getting there.

"Hi Jimin" Yoongi said as he walked back to his room.

"Is namjoon here?"

"Yeah, he's going out with Jin in a bit. It'll be quite for us to study" he informed, making Jimin hum in acknowledgement.

"Hey Chimmy Chim! How is it going" Namjoon joked. It looked like he was in a great mood.

"Good how are you!" He smiled, doing a quick handshake with him and Jin.

"Doing fine, we're gonna leave in a bit so you two can work hard" Namjoon said and grabbed his shoes.

"Make sure he doesn't spend his time watching YouTube videos" Jin chuckled as he ruffled Yoongi's already messy hair.

"I'm not you" the other grumbled.

"Maybe that's cause I pay enough attention in class that I don't need extra hours" Jin boasted.

"Okay you're insulting both of us now" Jimin replied.

"And what are you gonna do, call Jungkook?" Jin joked.

The topic wasn't as touchy anymore, at least not amongst them. When Tae was around it was another story. Things were slowly getting back to normal, this Friday night wasn't nearly as awkward even if Jungkook wasn't there.

"Come on let's not act as if Jeon has better comebacks than me" Jimin rolled his eyes, he would like to get some credit too.

"He doesn't, but if things escalate you can't do a thing on you own shorty" Namjoon teased.

"Where's hobi? I thought he was gonna go with you" Yoongi asked in the middle of the laughter.

"Yeah he's gonna pick us up" Jin replied.

Suddenly a honk was heard from outside the window, they opened the glass and waved at the young boy in the car.

"Get in losers, we're going shopping!" He quoted with a bright smile.

What a good day, Jimin thought to himself.

"Alright guys, we're off. Study well!" Namjoon last said as he walked out the front door and into the parked car.

"Okay let's do this" Yoongi announced and sat down by the low table. Jimin put a cushion on the ground as well and laid out his books and reading material.

He had already started his preparations at home, made a schedule for all the things he will go over today and bought color coded notebooks for every subject. This was a crucial part of his life and he wasn't going to mess it up, after all he was trying to get into Alford University in Clairmont.

It has always been his first choice when thinking about graduation, he wanted to apply because he wanted to study biomedical engineering, and the program at AUC was very reputed. Moreover it was only 2 hours away from home so he won't be leaving his mom lonely for too long, and can always come back on weekends.

"Did you start thinking about your applications?" He asked Yoongi, curious to know about his choices.

"I'm definitely applying to Bayman University College. I've already made friends there through my brother and I'll get to spend more time with our friends. I'll be the one coming back on weekends this time" he chuckled "I feel bad for Tae though, he's gonna be here alone all week until we come back, if we come back" He sighed, hearing Jimin hum in response, clearly lost in his own thoughts.

"What about you?"

"I don't know yet" he said. Is it going to sound bad if he chooses another college despite having all his friends in Bayman? But it's his future, he shouldn't plan it around who he's going to hang out with, right?

"I know you have an idea... I'm guessing it's not Bayman?" Yoongi asked.

"No it's not. I wanna go for Alford" he admitted, scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"That's cool Chim, I hope you get in" the other smiled "Though I know it's gonna be hard, it's really selective"

"Yeah" he replied with a huff.

"Then we should probably get back to work" Another 40 minutes passed without them exchanging a word, both focused on the books and engrossed in solving the questions at hand.

Jimin had connected his phone to the bluetooth speaker at the start, and ever since, calm music played in the background, really helping to set the mood so far.

However suddenly, the sound of a notification rang into the speakers, interrupting the music and getting Jimin's attention. He flipped his phone over to see the screen and the name he read made his heart flutter in his chest.

He tried to act as if nothing happened and ignored the text. He shouldn't be distracted right now, he has much work to do. He put the phone down and went back to his math, not knowing that Yoongi witnessed the entire reaction including the slight blush on Jimin's cheeks and the soft smile on his lips.

The older decided not to talk about it and also focused on his work, it could've been anything. Maybe he was wrong and Jimin didn't actually get a text from a crush, even if it totally looked like it.

His questions were answered shortly though, when another notification came in and Jimin broke into a fit of sweet giggles.

"What happened" he asked, curious.

"Nothing, just Jeon" Jimin replied nonchalantly, making Yoongi's jaw hit the floor in an instant.

"Jeon as in... Jeon Jungkook?" He asked, trying really hard not to laugh. Is it what I think it is?

"How many other Jeons do I know" Jimin factly said. This time choosing to type a reply, and subconsciously smiling at his phone as he did so.

"I'm assuming it's the same person who sent the first notification" Yoongi wanted to make sure, because this was something very new to him.

"Yup"

"So you like him" he found himself pointing out.

"Hm?" Jimin responded, not paying it much mind as he was too concentrated on his chat.

"You like Jungkook" he repeated once again, this time a bit more sure of himself. It was so entertaining to watch Jimin's face go from smiley with rosy cheeks, to stupefied in the span of seconds.

"What"

"Why do you look like you got caught red-handed" Yoongi laughed, slapping his hand on the table.

"It's not- what do you mean by like" Jimin asked, not able to get a word in because of how loudly Yoongi was cackling.

"You should've seen yourself Jimin, it was spectacular" he tried to regain his breath but the second he looked at Jimin it just came right back.

"Answer me man..." Jimin sounded restless, all to Yoongi's amusement.

"So you do? Really? You have a crush on Jungkook..."

"I never said that"

"Your face said it all Jimin, I know a crush when I see it" Yoongi gasped, just looking at his friend with his jaw hanging down.

"...shut up" Jimin replied with a much smaller voice. All of this caught him too off guard, he never expected his friends to find out this way and especially not so soon. Tears overcame him so suddenly, was it out of embarrassment? Fear? He couldn't tell. He felt as though he was being judged and wasn't ready to hear anymore of what Yoongi had to say because that laughter sure wasn't a good sign. Will he be disgusted? Will he feel uncomfortable hanging around him again?

"Are you..." Yoongi softly muttered when he saw Jimin's eyes tear up. The younger seems to have noticed and quickly rubbed his eyes dry, not making a sound or even looking up from his notes.

"Dude... I'm sorry I didn't mean to-" all that laughing bit him in the ass at once, he felt so bad but at the same time he didn't know how to comfort his friend at all. What was he supposed to say. It's okay if you're gay? Oh shit you like him out of everyone you could have liked?

"I didn't mean to make you sad I'm sorry Chim. I was just surprised I promise" he chose to say.

"Let's just not talk about it" the other flatly responded, his voice a bit rough.

"As you like" he reluctantly agreed "Just know that it's okay by me. I'm fine with this" he reassured regardless, and it seemed to do the trick since he noticed Jimin's face slowly rise. His eyes still have a bit of glossiness at the waterline, and the tip of his nose was red from the pressure to keep the tears in.

"You're fine with what" he asked to make things clear.

"Your sexuality. You can like whomever you want Chim I really don't have a problem" Yoongi replied, setting his pen down and looking at him right in the eyes to convey his honesty.

"But it's not just anybody Yoongs, aren't you weirded out?" Jimin hesitantly asked.

"Absolutely not. It's true that I wanted better for you but some things can't be helped" he shrugged, making Jimin chuckle.

"You really don't miss a chance to diss somebody" he pointed out.

"Always repping" he responded.

"Man when you laughed earlier I thought this is it, I'm gonna lose all my friends"

"I don't think anybody in the group will make you feel bad about this. Don't get me wrong, there will be a lot of teasing, but no bullying" what a relief Jimin felt at that moment.

"Yeah I know someone who won't be happy about this"

"Who, Jungkook?"

"Tae"

"So you know Jungkook will be fine with it? Did something happen?" Yoongi asked with an eyebrow raised.

"I can't say shit without you playing detective huh" Jimin rolled his eyes "Let's say he figured it out on his own" he added, not wanted to get into the details of how and when in happened.

"Yeah you did a really poor job hiding it to be honest" Yoongi scoffed.

"But how did you just know?" Jimin refused to believe that all it took was a look at him to find out. There has to be some sort of underlying suspicions to tip it off.

"Being the only sober guy amongst your drunk friends really helps you see some stuff. That one party with the bottle shots? It was filled of the both of you acting mad sus" Yoongi mentioned "I kinda didn't know what to think back then, whether to blame it on the alcohol or on his half-gay ass, but I did not see this coming" he admitted.

"You knew he was bi?"

"Yeah he told us once... It kinda ended up like that one time I disrespected him for the stripper joke" he smiled awkwardly.

"You were homophobic?"

"Umm.. not really but I thought that's how straight men should feel about it"

"So you were just stupid"

"Shut up" Yoongi threw an eraser at him.

"Well... now you know for sure" Jimin clicked his tongue and picked his pen back up.

"Seriously though how did it happen?" Yoongi asked, still surprised by the turn of events.

"Do you really wanna know..." Jimin's eyebrows were raised.

"Yeah how did you realize what you felt for him"

"Not gonna lie to you, he unintentionally said something that made me think about it. I was so oblivious at first cause I never felt this way about a guy before" Jimin explained, looking into space as he remembered that phone call in his room.

"That's crazy... I honestly didn't estimate Kook's influence to be that strong. I guess I thought he got girls left and right because of his good looks and height, but to be your gay awakening? That's next level power" Yoongi comment looking truly impressed, while Jimin just smiled at the remark.

"Honeslty I don't know how he did it either" he confided.

"Swoop you right off your feet?"

"Let's not give him that much credit" Jimin scoffed "It was very gradual"

"But when did you have time to get there? When we hung out you would bicker the whole time" Yoongi wondered.

"Yeah... peculiar isn't it" Jimin pursed his lips sarcastically.

"You two... you were hanging out without us" he figured out with a betrayed expression painting his face.

"It was never planned, don't be dramatic" Jimin chuckled.

"No wonder Tae calls you his new bestie. You two have been lying to us the entire time. I wouldn't be surprised to find out you've been together for a while now"

"Far from that trust me. We're barely at accepting my feelings and getting over his. I have no idea what will happen after this"

The math and history were long forgotten now as the two teenage boys found themselves in this new topic. This is the first time Jimin talked about Jungkook to anybody else, all these months he's been hiding his feelings and only ever expressed them in the presence of their target himself. But speaking of this experience with a friend felt freeing in a whole different way.

"Can I ask, what do you like about him?" He genuinely wanted to know. Why did someone as smart, funny and good looking as Jimin fall for Jungkook, it certainly wasn't anything he lacked.

"Will you believe me if I say how annoying he is?" Jimin attempted.

"What do you mean, you like that he's annoying?"

"Something like that. All his teasing, his jokes and remarks make him endearing to me. Even if at first I found them extremely obnoxious" he smiled.

"Is that why you kept bickering even after you realized you feelings?"

"Of course, It's my favorite part about hanging out with him" he added with a chuckle.

"That's one way to see it" the other shrugged.

"I'm assuming your bickering with Hoseok is completely different from ours" Jimin casually commented and Yoongi's ears twitched at hearing the name.

"Yeah I don't feel the same about it" he honestly replied.

In his case, he does think Hoseok is too bubbly for his taste. He doesn't even know when it started, but he's been bickering with him ever since he can remember. That said, they don't hate each other and both know this, they actually really appreciate one another's friendship. It was just their dynamic.

Yoongi sometimes thought about Hoseok when he was alone, just about why he's always fighting with him in the chat and dissing one another in group hangouts, but then take care of each other regardless. It was truly amazing how it worked perfectly.

He would often find himself getting out of his way to buy him things or get him the best gifts, Hoseok would lift him up whenever he was down with his shiny personality even if he complained about it constantly. It's because he knew it would work and never stopped trying.

He didn't understand why they never seriously argued. Yoongi couldn't even imagine fighting with the other, not like Tae and Jungkook did. Seeing the other so sad because of him would make him feel horrible in itself. Hoseok didn't deserve to feel that way, neither did he.

"To each their own" Jimin shrugged.

"What stage are you at right now? I wanna know what to expect when you two are together with us"

"We're at unrequited crush. Don't worry, nothing will happen between us, not in a long time I suspect"

"And are you okay with that?"

"I'm alright, getting used to it. It feels just like the past four months"

"Oh you've had feelings for that long?"

"Yeah I just didn't know"

"I see. Good luck to you man, I hope everything goes well for you two" Yoongi smiled and finally looked back at the notes, making Jimin do the same.

After this relieving conversation he felt energized to pick up where he left off. It was so nice getting something off his chest without calculating every word he said as when he was with Jungkook. Back then, he was worried he would say the wrong thing and didn't talk as freely as he wished. Now, after being reassured that Yoongi wouldn't be uncomfortable with it, he knew he could say whatever he wanted without thinking twice.

He also realized that if anything gets too overwhelming about these feelings, he had someone to talk to without having to explain the entire situation and say what's been said today.

What a good day, he thought again.
