Decided to update for no reason, enjoy!

December 3rd.

It's been a month since the halloween party, and it's been a month since Jimin saw the older boys. He hung out with Tae and Yoongi when he could but it wasn't even as frequent because of exams and all.

The first weekend after Halloween, Jimin had promised his mom to stay grounded, as funny as it may sound, so he only talked to them in the chat. During the week he just worked, he had a small outing with Ryujin, nothing planned, she just felt bored and went on a walk together.

The next week was quite rough because he had exams of his own and team based things to prepare so he spent the entire weekend on them at the library. He played a basketball game with Tae and Yoongi but didn't have time to hang with the others. Only Namjoon and Hobi were there anyway, Jin and Jungkook stayed on campus.

The following week was just as boring. Yoongi was the one who was unavailable and Tae was grounded.

Last week, Ryujin and his mom were mainly the people he spent his time with. He didn't exactly leave the house since it was so cold, he just talked to them on the group and saw Ryujin at work, she liked to visit and stay there a for a bit.

"Jimin don't forget the deliverables for tomorrow"

"Yeah I know don't worry, I'll send in my part for review early" he replied, rubbing the back of his neck and huffing at the amount of work he has to do.

"By the way, you're starting to come off as a nerd in this exams period" one of his teammates said and he shrugged.

"That's still going on? Damn y'all just be having nothing to do... get a job" he just replied as he walked to his next class.

Back home, the mood wasn't too different really, his mom was exhausted when she returned, he was doing his homework in his room so he didn't really see her or talk to her much before they both went to sleep.

Jimin was in the middle of typing a reply about another costume during the Halloween party and the funny story involving it, but he received a notification from none other than Jeon009, enticing his curiosity and making him check it right away.

"Later" Jimin scoffed "No thank you or anything" he muttered to himself. He clicked on the guy's story and saw a very nice picture of the sunset "Where is this place" he wondered.

Jimin went to the kitchen, preparing side dishes and whatnot. He sighed as he pulled out a salad bag and started mixing its content.

"What are you doing? I thought you weren't gonna eat" she said, scratching her neck and grabbing a strawberry.

"Yeah Jungkook is coming over for dinner"

"He is? We don't have any dinner ready though" his mom asked, watching her son leisurely cut the fruits in half.

"He's bringing me wings" he informed "I'm polite enough to invite him to join" he added and she nodded.

"Do we have any beer left?"

"Just a few"

"It'll do"

Moments later, Jimin's phone rang and he hung up after reading Jungkook's snapchat alias on the screen. He opened his front door and there was Jungkook in his car, with the bag of food on his lap. He crossed his arms against his chest at the cold and got in the passenger's seat, catching the elder off-guard and making him jump slightly.

"Ever heard of knocking?"

"Are you a 14 year old girl" Jimin laughed as the other handed him the bag.

"I'll Venmo you" Jimin said, referring to the money he owed him for the food "Did you have dinner? Come in, let's eat together" he asked without really waiting for an answer.

"I don't eat dinner- hey" Jungkook was barely trying to say but the younger had already gotten out of the car and ran inside the house, leaving the door open for him.

He stayed in his car a bit longer, contemplating whether he should join or just go home and chill as he had planned.

"Jeon! Hurry it's cold outside!" Jimin suddenly shouted from the stairs. He sighed and followed behind him, locking the front door and standing there quite awkwardly.

"Hi Jungkook! It's nice that you could join us" Jimin's mom said and he simply smiled. I wasn't given much of a choice really, Jungkook thought.

"He didn't actually want to, he's the boring type to stay by himself all the time" Jimin teased and his mom hushed him.

"The young man brings your ass food and you repay him with that?" she scolded him.

"Sometimes his comments hurt me deeply Mrs. Park" Jungkook added dramatically and the youngest rolled his eyes.

"You can make yourself home, son. The bathroom is on the left corner" she said and he nodded "Thanks"

A few minutes later, the tree had gathered around the dining table, which the small family generally never used unless they had guests, like now.

Jungkook wasn't very hungry, in fact he doesn't eat that late at night, but the mother and son seemed to love it all. He initially wanted to go home and listen to his music in the darkness of his room, with only the outside and his favorite candle as a source of light. It was something he enjoyed a lot.

But the plans had drastically changed since he's in the company of two very bright people talking about everything and nothing in particular.

"Did you ever go there?" Mrs. Park asked him, referring to the place in her anecdote. He laughed at the rest of the story, thinking back at something similar that happened to him and feeding the conversation.

"Maybe I should've gotten the mild ones" Jimin said, feeling his lips burning from the hot sauce of the wings. He dried his teary eyes and saw Jungkook struggling just as hard.

"You look so dumb right now" Jimin laughed and quickly stopped to be able to blow his lips.

"You should see yourself" Jungkook pulled his phone out and tapped to take a selfie of the both of them, but it turned out to be a short video of them trying to breath properly.

"We look so defeated" Jungkook laughed and winced at his cut lip.

"Just why do people do this to themselves" Jimin's mom said, unbothered as she ate her strawberries on the couch "Cause they're not softies like you mom" he replied. Jungkook raised his eyebrows at the exchange that was quite halfhearted.

"You're not one to talk, Park Jimin" she said and acted as if she was gonna throw a pillow in his direction.

"Yeah, didn't think you wanted to pick a fight with me and Jungkook. Two against one is gonna suck for you mommy" Jimin pointed out and the taller cleared his throat.

"What made you think I would team up with you. If anything I would rather team up with Mrs. Park" he said, walking over to the couch "Two against one is gonna suck for you kid" he said with a sly smirk and laughed when the other rolled his eyes, face heating up.

"Whatever, it's not even fun" Jimin quietly muttered and his mom snickered "Loser" she teased but he just ignored her.

A few moments later, all the food was finished and Jungkook ended up eating a lot more than he thought he would. He knows for a fact that he won't be able to sleep early because of that, and if he did he would wake up very tired for some reason. There goes my good night sleep, he thought.

"Jeon, get you ass over here and help me with these dishes. Everyone helps in this house" Jimin said from his spot by the kitchen sink. Jungkook was standing at the window, disappointed to watch it snow for the second time that week. He didn't like winter.

"What am I, your butler or something. Making me do all sorts of things for you" Jungkook pointed out with an eyebrow raised, his voice slightly whiny too.

"Did you just say you would rather not do this so that we can play video games before you go?!" Jimin exclaimed, not addressing the taller but rather shouting loudly across the hallway so that his mom could hear him.

"Just do the damn dishes Jimin!" she shouted back "Jungkook you don't have to help with anything! It was his punishment for not staying grounded when I said so" she added and the taller laughed right behind him. His deep voice catching Jimin by surprise since he didn't notice the taller walking any closer.

"Jeez when did you get here. Take these, there's a towel on the corner. You know what to do" Jimin said handing him the clean dishes.

He sighed as soon as he was done, leaning back on the counter and watching the elder wipe the last plates and place them in the cabinet.

"All done, can I leave now?" Jungkook asked and he gasped.

"Are you having such a bad time?" he asked with a hand on his chest.

"It's just that I could be having a better time, you know, alone in my room... Doing what boring people do and staying by myself all the time as you said" Jungkook mentioned, crossing his arms against his chest.

"So you're just salty about that"

"Please don't act as if you're the most extroverted person. If anything you might be more introverted than I am" Jungkook said.

"Woah there, I don't think that's possible" he replied as he sat on the couch.

Jungkook followed and stood behind the couch where Jimin was, then put his hands on the younger's head. He ruffled his hair in all directions as if he was shampooing him, making him whine in discomfort. Jungkook laughed and changed his mind, now parting his orange hair in the middle and pressing each side to his head making his hair look slicked down. He laughed at how ridiculous the boy was looking and the other couldn't do anything but bear with it.

He grabbed Jungkook's wrists to try and swat his arms away but they were unmoving, instead he just left his hands hanging from the other's, and looked up to him.

"Will you ever not" he asked, referring to the action bring done.

"Not a chance" the elder replied with a bright smile, continuing to make a mess of the shorter's head.

"Okay that's enough, you overgrown child" Jimin stood up to make him stop.

"Alright well... I gotta go now for real.  I'll bring Tako Saturday morning as we said, I'll tell you when I'll pick him up but it'll probably be way later that day" Jungkook explained, gripping his jacket.

"Okay it's fine with me"

Jungkook put his hand on the door knob "Say bye to your mom for me" he opened the door and Jimin was gonna follow down the porch when he stopped him "Stay inside, it's raining... Goodnight" he last said with a sweet smile, and hopped down the stairs, quickly surrounding his car and getting inside.

Jimin just leaned on the door frame and waved at the other with a smile of his own, until he drove off. He sighed and went to his room, throwing himself on the bed and immediately feeling bored. He scrolled down his twitter feed and finally just decided to call it a night.
