~~~
I wrote another oneshot..... it's on ao3, my user's in my bio if you want to check it out (no ships besides background Remile).....
I also got a chapter for Wednesday done.....
And yet, the fic I've been working on since August 21st, the fic that is barely 5 pages long, isn't even close to being done???
I've finished oneshots in a day, I've a finished 20,000+ word fic in 2-3 months, yet this one is taking forever!
And the concept is honestly quite good, I set it in the 1920s for crying out loud! The roaring twenties with two rich gays in a homophobic USA, what else could a writer want? But noooooooo, it has to drag out.
I'm not super mad, I understand that I really just need to sit down and get past this one scene, but like, why??
Oh and I already have 3 fics lining up to be multi-chapter ones, which I'm excited to write but will have to wait until at least my next day off or spring break. But that's okay, I just really want to write! I have so many ideas, I have a list of ideas that are first on my project list, then there's all the docs with a sentence or two explaining an idea that will have to be dealt with secondly, and then there's all the prompts saved on my phone that are third on my project list.
If only school was just the eight hours and done, not eight hours plus homework plus studying. If it were just eight hours, I could write so much more sooner. Hell I could get so much more in general done, and be a lot more mentally stable.
Imagine that, if school was just eight hours in the building and then when we leave that's it, there's no homework or studying, not unless you wanted to/felt the need to. Imagine if it was just like a job, where you go in and you work and then you leave. If you do stuff for work on your own hours, you do it because you want to not because you have to. Imagine what that would be like, imagine how that would feel.
Stay safe kiddos, remember to be selfish sometimes.
Love you all <3<3<3
