~~~
Did I just write a Cinderella story but she's a mtf trans woman, her best friend/older brother figure/tutor is married to the fae person who gives Ella the dress and shoes (and female body parts for the night), her step-family is transphobic and abusive, and the prince she eventually marries defends her even though at the time he'd only met her two times before?
Yes.
I regret nothing.
The shoes fit only her because she has larger feet due to having a male body.
The fae person is non binary.
The fae person's husband is a ftm trans guy who made a deal with the fae person so he could have the body he wanted, in exchange for spending his nights in the fae world (this eventually lead to them falling in love and getting married).
Ella isn't natïve or sweet, she's kind and tired and feels helpless because of the years of abuse.
I really have too much lore for a 3,000 word story I'm having to trim down to 2,500 words.
I need to edit it, but I'm going to submit it for the writing competition (yes the deadline is like, two days from now, I'm cutting it close).
And if I don't win, I'll publish it here because I'm proud of it.
Am I starting to think about writing more LGBT+ fairy tales?
Yes.
Why am I like this, I literally have 10 or 11 plot lines on my priority list.
I need more free time and motivation.
Or just time.
Like, can I just be able to freeze time so I can write more? Please? PLEASE
Stay safe kiddos, don't forget to take your binder off so you can breathe soon!
Love you all <3<3<3<3
