"He is a..... what ?!" you blurted, not being able to process the words.

"So he didn't tell you huh.... I suppose you are a victim too then..... almost makes me want to let you go" the man said.

"What do you plan to do?" you asked after you gained back your calm composure, continuing to cut the rope.

Halfway there, you thought.

"Well it's quite simple, isn't it.... He will come looking for you when I will snipe him from the roof." the man stated.

You started turning the gears of your mind.
You had two options.
Either to distract him here so that he doesn't reach the roof on time.
Or to let him go and escape out on your own before anything happens.

OR.......

"You know you should really set up from now.... don't want him coming in, do we ?" you said.

"Why are you telling me that.... do you not care for him ?" he said confused.

"I mean at first I cared for him a little but now after finding out that he has been lying to me all this time...... nope" you said.

"A little? Wait...... did you date him for money?" he guessed.

"Of course shithead, why else" you said trying to sound as convincing as you could.

You could think of uncountable reasons to love him.... the list would never end.

"Well then I suppose I should get prepared then." he said as he checked the time.

"Wait.... it certainly will require quite a lot of effort to complete your plan." you said.

"Why not let me help you ?"
