"Grow young - Olivia Newton John"
Camilla slowly opens her eyes, still in the same position, then raises her head and stares at Angel on her phone.
- I hope I didn't wake you up.
- Not at all, it was just a light sleep. Camila assures.
-All right. Angel responds by getting closer to Camila.
- Have you found the charger? Camila asks, rubbing her eyes.
- Yes yes, and I just checked again and still nothing about your best friend. Angel responds by sitting down on the counter.
- Now I'm really starting to worry about her, maybe she has something. Camila expresses her concern about the absence of her best friend.
- It's possible that you're here because she may never be here, maybe you'll never see her again. Angel whispers with a sigh.
-What? I did not understand your sentence correctly. Camilla asks, puzzled by Angel's words.
- Excuse me, I confused my thoughts with the words I was going to say to you, she's probably fine. Angel makes up for it.
Camila doesn't pay more attention to these words by focusing more on her best friend from whom she has no news.
- Do you still need a glass of whiskey ? Angel asks, getting up from the counter.
- Why not while we're here, thank you Angel. Accepts Camila.
As Angel serves her, Camila's eyes turn back to the clock which still reads 9:30 p.m.
Camila remains perplexed in her head for a moment, trying to make sure it was already marked 9:30 p.m. about thirty minutes ago.
"Rhythm of the rain - The Cascades"
- That clock doesn't work anymore? Camilla asks, constantly keeping an eye on the clock.
- To my knowledge, it works perfectly. Angel responds by sliding the glass towards her.
- I don't think so, before taking this little sleep, she already indicated 9:30 p.m. I must have spent about thirty minutes sleeping and it's still 9:30 p.m.
Angel in turn observes the clock at the back and the time rises to 9:31 p.m.
- You see, this clock works perfectly. Angel said with a smile.
- I think I'm losing my mind, I also felt like my phone had more than fifty percent and suddenly it switches to one. Camila explains as she drinks.
Camila looks at the clock again and it says 9:32 p.m.
- It is still an iPhone, known for its mediocre batteries. Angel laughs.
-Indeed. Camila adds, laughing in turn.
"I've told every little star - Linda Scott"
- I would like to understand the reason behind all this hype around this phone. Angel said as he stood against the counter holding his face against his palm.
- I don't really know, I'd say most public figures use it, which sparks inspiration in young people, I guess. Camila explains in search of a reasonable answer.
- A very bad way to be inspired.
- I notice that you oppose by using a Samsung.
-What? I don't use a phone, I'm not a fan of that kind of thing. Angel confides, leaning on his opposite hand.
The music that was playing suddenly stopped.
- But a few minutes ago, you had a Samsung in your hands, you were playing music. I touched it with my own hands. Camila said, convinced she had seen a phone.
- Absolutely not, I don't have a phone, we were listening to music on yours, that's why it's out of charge, remember? Asks Angel, bringing his hand to his.
- I'm sure, what's happening to me? Did I really hallucinate to that extent? Camila wonders.
- It may be due to alcohol, you should stop. Angel expresses his concern.
- No, it's not that, and it's also strange that I don't feel the effect of alcohol, usually I can't drink all this without being drunk.
- Let's say that's one of the many perks of being here, Camila. Angel said briefly as he straightened up.
Camila begins to feel a certain lack of coherence between Angel's unlikely sentences, and that's when she realizes that no other person has called Angel and none has come to the counter to ask for anything.
But the sound of his phone ringing takes her away from his thoughts. She rushes to the phone to take the call, but too late, she just missed a call from her best friend.
She tried to contact her immediately, but without success.
-DAMN. Camila screams, going crazy.
