Chapter 45 - Party Animals
After the show ended, I greeted Emilie, and we chatted for about twenty minutes. I tried to convince her to go to the after party, but she didn't budge.
I let a couple of tears escape. The last show.
God, I was being pathetic. I'm going to be back here in two months.
It was just because, I got really lucky this year. Finding Jimmy.
I heard the after party was going to be the biggest of all. It gets extremely rowdy, though. Especially Horatio, who is a complete party animal.
The whole cast drove to a bar near Rockefeller. I rode with Jimmy, as usual.
"Man, what a year, huh?" Jimmy put his hand on my leg. I blushed.
"Tell me about it," I chuckled under my breath.
My phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out, and let out an inaudible shriek. Jimmy pulled over.
"What is it?" Jimmy asked, a concerned look on his face. I turned the screen toward Jimmy, and his eyes widened.
Think your last day on SNL for two months of emotional? Wait until Jimmy's last day, forever.
It was really odd. We haven't heard from Anonymous in nearly two months.
"You know what? Don't worry about it. Don't let Anonymous ruin your night. Nothing will happen, I promise." Jimmy said sincerely. Jimmy was right, I don't need any more to worry about.
"Okay, let's go."
When we got to the bar, we walked to the seats outside the bar, and ordered two shots.
Then, my phone let out a bleep. I pulled it out, crossing my fingers it wasn't another text message from Anonymous. I sighed in relief. It was only Maverick.
"Hello?" I said as the bartender handed Jimmy our shots.
"Did you get a message from Anonymous?" Maverick asked in a span of two seconds.
"Yeah, did you?"
"Yup. Alice is in total panic mode right now." I could hear Alice whimpering in the background.
Someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around. Cheri was standing there with a mischievous grin on her face.
"I-I'll call you back," Then, I quickly hung up.
"What's up?" I asked.
"So, Horatio wants you and Jimmy to arm wrestle." Cheri said, looking at Jimmy, and back at me. I chugged down my shot, and looked at Jimmy. I winced before I could stay anything. Damn, that was strong.
"Game on, Donkey Kong." I said with a smirk. Jimmy grinned, and we followed Cheri.
She led us to a big dinner table. Cast members surrounded us.
"Ready to lose?" I asked Jimmy, pulling up my sleeves.
"Oh, please. Says the girl that has a shirt on that says Giggles & Smiles."
"Shut up about the shirt!"
Jimmy held up his hands defensively. We put our elbows on the table, and locked his hand into mine.
"Alright," Horatio said through his teeth. "Ready...set...go!"
I used all my strength. I pushed down Jimmy's arm, almost hitting the table, but he pulled my arm back up, and nearly made me lose.
It was on and off for about three minutes, and then I used my whole entire strength, and pushed Jimmy's arm to the table. I let go, and gasped for air. Everyone cheered.
"Hmm...don't underestimate a girl with a t-shirt that says Giggles & Smiles." I put my hands up, and bowed. Jimmy jokingly rolled his eyes.

On our way home, both me and Jimmy were a little drunk, but not bad like the last time.
We walked in Jimmy's apartment, and Emilie was in the kitchen.
"Hey guys, you both look pretty wasted." Emilie said with a laugh. I slightly laughed, and walked into the bedroom. I got into my pajamas as well as Jimmy, and we both fell into the bed.
"I'm pooped," I said, rolling over to face Jimmy.
"Seriously," We both chuckled. Jimmy pushed a lock of hair behind my ear, and kissed my lips.
"Goodnight," Jimmy said with a smile, and turned off the light.
"Goodnight."
Then, I slowly drifted to sleep.
I woke up at midnight around 4:30 a.m., and I was extremely thirsty.
I walked out, and Emilie was still awake, watching a show I couldn't put my finger on.
"You're still awake?" I said, stretching and yawning at the same time.
"Can't sleep." Emilie rubbed the back of her neck.
I walked into the kitchen, and poured a glass of water into a red solo cup.
Then, I needed to use the bathroom. I stopped pouring, and walked in.
When I got out, I put away the carton of water, and picked up my cup and walked back to the bedroom. I drank it gulp after gulp.
It took me a while to fall back asleep, but I did eventually.
Then, I saw a hazy vision of me being carried by someone by a shed. I couldn't tell if it was a dream, or if this was actually happening.
They carried me into the shed, and I saw someone in a black hoodie, and a hockey mask.
Oh my god, it was Anonymous.
Anonymous slowly stepped toward me once whoever was carrying me stopped, and took off their mask.
I stopped breathing. It was Maverick.
He had a smirk on his face, his bright blue eyes glimmering.
He was talking to the person carrying me, but I couldn't hear what they were saying. It was as if they were on mute.
Then, I woke up.
Thank God, it was just a dream.
Sweat was pouring down my face. I was heavily breathing. Jimmy jumped up, and looked over at me. "What's wrong? Are you okay?"
I put my hands to my temples. "Just a nightmare."
I looked at the time. Twelve at noon.
I laid back down. Jimmy remained sitting up. Then, I noticed he didn't have a shirt on.
He was adorable. His hair was mussed. His "Just-Woke-Up" look always gets me.
I still felt traumatized from that dream. I couldn't imagine Maverick being Anonymous.
I will find Anonymous before they kill me first.
