Chapter 36 - Just Us

Saturday
Today was finally Saturday. I was so excited to be interviewed by Jay Leno. It was a dream come true.
Jimmy and I got to the airport, and carried our luggage to the plane.
We put the luggage in the holder above us, and sat down in our seats.
"Oh my god, this is so exciting!" I squeezed Jimmy's hand. Although it has been rough comprehending with the murder of my mother, we could finally take a hiatus from all these tragedies.
Me nor Jimmy has been getting tortured by Anonymous this past week, which was a good sign. Perhaps Anonymous was finally gone, or got a freaking hobby at least.
Jimmy was sitting in the window seat, looking out of the window with a smile plastered on his face. He was such a dork.
The plane ride was going to be about ten hours. It was 12:30 p.m., and I was really drowsy.
Then, I slowly drifted to sleep.
When I woke up after what felt about five minutes of sleeping, Jimmy was tapping me on my shoulder.
"What?" I said, my eyes wide.
"The plane arrived." Jimmy said with a giggle.
"Oh," I stood up, and got my luggage. There was a line of people that were getting off of the plane.
Once me and Jimmy got out of the plane, our jaws dropped. California was beautiful. Cloudless blue skies, and blazingly hot sun.
"Wow," Jimmy said, examining the sky.
We were meeting up with Jay in a few hours, just so he can tell us what we're going to be talking about, what not.
Jimmy waved his hand up in the air to get the taxi driver's attention. He pulled over, and we got in.
Jimmy told the taxi driver where our hotel was, and we drove there.
When we got to the hotel, I gave the taxi driver a twenty dollar bill, and me and Jimmy carried our luggage in the hotel.
"The Fallons'." Jimmy said to the guy at the front desk. He typed it in, and gave us our room key.
We were on the seventh floor, the very top. I've always love being on the top floor, it gives me a better view of the night sky.
Jimmy unlocked the door, and we got in. The hotel was beautiful; nice and big, great furniture, and the big windows gave you a view of the cloudless sky.
"Wow, this is beautiful." Jimmy said, his eyes wide from amazement.
I checked the time. We had about two hours until we had to meet Jay.
"I'm gonna take a shower," I said, and walked to the bathroom.
The shower was really nice too, and there was a gigantic tub, too. I turned the knob to the big H that stood for hot. I striped my clothes off, and stepped in.

When I was done, I stepped out, and wrapped a towel around me. I went into the bedroom that me and Jimmy were sharing. I unzipped my suitcase, and picked out my BB Dakota Lace Panel and black dress shoes, like I wore at my SNL audition.
I walked out to the living room, and Jimmy immediately examined my outfit.
"Wait, didn't you wear that to your SNL audition?" Jimmy said, looking me up and down.
"Yeah, um, did you permanently store my outfit into your memory?" I chuckled. Jimmy's cheeks turned blood red, as if he was embarrassed.
I put my hair in a messy side braid, and put a little bit of mascara on.
I had about fifteen minutes until I had to be there. "Ready?" I yelled to Jimmy from the other room.
"Yeah, coming!" Jimmy said, and raced out of the bedroom.
We walked out of the hotel to the car, and we were on our way.

When we got out of the taxi, Jimmy and I walked in. Jay's studio was really nice. Big stage, nice desk, everything was just awesome.
As if on cue, Jay walked out.
"Hi! Nice to to meet you two." Jay said, shaking me and Jimmy's hand.
"You too," Jimmy and I said in unison.
"So, come on backstage." Jay gestured me and Jimmy to go backstage.
Jay led us to a dressing room, which was ginormous, and had a couple couches.
"Feel free to sit." Jay sat down, and so did me and Jimmy. "Alright, so let's get started here." Jay clasped his hands together. "Pretty much what we're going to be talking about is SNL. Like, your audition, and your sketches, stuff like that. I'm going to show you your dress room, and I think that'll be it."
Jay showed me my dressing room, and a little bit of the studio.
"Thank you so much, see you Monday!" I said as me and Jimmy walked out the door.
I whistled for a taxi, and it pulled over. We climbed in, and headed back to the hotel.

We walked into the hotel, and to our hotel room. I was really happy to get a hiatus from New York City.
It was about sunset by the time we got settled in.
"Hey, can I show you something?" Jimmy said, standing up.
I stood up too. Before I could say anything, Jimmy picked me up. One arm was under my legs, and the other was around my back.
"Oh god, can you even pick me up?" I asked with a chuckle.
"Oh please, you're light as a feather." Jimmy said. I laughed, and Jimmy carried me to the elevator.
"Close your eyes!" Jimmy said, and I closed my eyes.
I had no idea where Jimmy was taking me, but it was exciting.
Then, Jimmy went to a stop. "Okay, open your eyes."
I opened my eyes to a beautiful sight. We were on the very rooftop of the hotel. I could see all the lights of California, the beautiful sky with stars scattered all over it. It was so beautiful.
"Oh my god," I said in awe. "This is so beautiful." I looked at Jimmy, who had a smirk on his face. I smiled sweetly at him, and kissed him passionately.
I wrapped my arms around his neck, and his hands were moving up from my hips to my back.
He was my only one.
