Allison's POV

I didn't notice that I was slowly dozing off. I can't help it though because I was feeling dizzy and my eyes were slowly closing on their own.

But I do remember that I was in the car with Alliah and my driver was starting the engine. I was half asleep by then. I was starting to remember the moment I helped Lance to go out with Alliah.

~Flashback

I was in class and our professor was discussing geometry but I wasn't listening because I was thinking of a way on how to make Alliah go out with Lance on a date.

That's when it hit me, it was so simple. I know Alliah, I know what she wants. I know what she needs. I just need to think this plan thoroughly.

When class was finished. I went out of the classroom to find Lance. As I expected, I fount him in the gymnasium. He was playing basketball.

See Mr. Popular is also the team captain of the basketball league in our school. You may say he has it all. Looks, witts, popularity, he has a toned body, and he's also rich like me.

Sometimes I think we should team up and be the power couple at our campus for our current popularity rate to go up. But I think that Aiah needs it more, to boost her confidence. The only way I think that this could happen is when Alliah would also become the center of the attention or become one of us, the populars.

"Lance, I have a plan that would definitely be successful."

That's when Lance was becoming curious. He was serious. "Yeah? So what's your plan then?"

"You just have to use your charms and leave it all to me."

He was confused but I know that this would work. I know my plan would work. I just know it.

See my plan is to tell Alliah how great a guy Lance is and that they would become a great couple if they were to be one. This would help Lance to have a great image on Alliah. My next phase is to have them meet in the park where I tell them to go there and meet me but the downside is I would tell her that I have a cold. But I sent someone to accompany her on my behalf.

Well the rest would be up to him. He could use his charm or something. Whatever happens next, is all up to him and what he does next.

Alliah's POV

I was the first one to be taken home. I assured that Allison was doing OK before I said goodbye and goodnight to her.

I watched the car go farther to the distance before I entered our home. My mom was already asleep when I got in the house. So I headed to my room.

Where I started to remember, to reminisce the time I had with Lance. The fun we had, and where my love for him first drew out.

~Flashback

Allison was acting weird. Always talking about how great Lance is and that it would be great if we were to be a couple.

I know what she was doing, she was trying to hook me up with Lance. She was telling these things to me so that I would eventually fall for him. I had a feeling that she would do this.

For the past few weeks, Lance sent bouquets, chocolates, gifts with letters on it . I appreciated everything that he gave me. I mean who wouldn't? But I wanted to give it all back because I felt like I didn't deserve any of it.

I decided to give it back one day but he refuses to take it back. He says that it's all for me and no one else. I felt something. Something inside me. At the time being, I didn't realize it yet.

He also joins me while walking, while I'm at the canteen and sometimes he offers me a ride home but usually I refuse his offer.

He does this things and I can't explain what I'm feeling for him. When his around I feel like I'm happy. His presence alone makes me happy by now.

I don't know what to feel. I'm confused of what to think of him. Is he just a friend? Or is he more than that in my life? Soon enough I know I will decide.

When I was already planning to go home. There were no cab insight and the clouds were darkening, sign that it will rain soon.

I was eager to go home as fast as I can because soon it will rain and to top it all off, I didn't bring my umbrella. So I decided to walk home. When I was starting to walk it suddenly started to rain. I had nowhere to go, there were no place I could go under to let the rain pass.

That's when he showed up. He was driving his car. When he saw me walking in the rain, he stopped and got out of the car to give me his jacket while holding an umbrella.

He was starting to talk. "Alliah, come on! I'll bring you home. Let's get in the car."

"I'm fine, I'm okay! Let me borrow your umbrella and I'll be alright."

I didn't want to bother him. It was enough that he got out of his car and brought me the umbrella and lended me his jacket.

He left me and drove off. I didn't know what to feel. I wanted him to go but at the same time I wanted him to stay with me.

Thankfully though he left me his jacket and umbrella. I started again to walk, when suddenly someone held my hand. He held my hands so tight that I couldn't get away from him.

It was Lance, he came back for me. I thought he already left me here. I had so many questions to ask him but none of it came out.

I felt my heart skip a beat. I didn't know what to say but my mouth conjured up this words. "Why did you come back? Didn't I say just leave me here? I don-"

I was suddenly interrupted by what he next did to me...

He hugged me real tight against his body. I felt warm inside, at the same time uneasy, like there were butterflies inside my stomach. I didn't know what to feel at that time. I was so confused with my feelings right now.

I think this is what they call... Love. Am I in really in love? At this time I felt my lips say something.

"Lance, about your invitation on a date... "

He was staring at me now and he said "Yeah, what about it?"

"My answer is yes..."

His eyes were telling me he was really happy and he started to lift me up and jump. He started to talk. "Really? You'd go on a date with me? Alliah, you won't regret it. I promise!"

(Other day)

On an eventful day. Allison was suppose to meet me at the park but she said she was feeling sick.

She also said that she sent someone to accompany me. I said that I'll just go home. Suddenly someone held my hand and pulled me close to him.

It was Lance, why is he here? There were so many questions in my mind.

"Allison sent me. Don't worry, I'll accompany you. Consider this as our first date."

I was shocked for awhile. And my senses started to come back.

I said to him "O-Okay, sure. I guess."

~Reality

That was a memory I would not forget. The day my heart skipped a beat, the day I fell for him.

After a few months, he asked me to become his girlfriend. Eventually, I said yes...

A yes I eventually regretted...

After two years of our relationship, he said he was going somewhere else and that we should meet other people.

I felt heartbroken, I didn't show my emotional state to him. I can't say anything to him. I left him there without saying a word.

I thought he was the one, I was so stupid to think of this, I was wrong.

I tried to forget him but until now I can't...
