A lot of things can happen in a second. Some things are easy, noticeable, perfectly fair and reasonable. Some, like what happened to me, are not.

If you're reading this, then it should have happened by now. You want answers, I know, so, since these might just be my last words to you, my friends, I shall give you all the answers. They just might not be to you're questions.

Seconds, a second, that's the problem. Apparently, curses can happen in a second. No one noticed, or heard or saw it, only me. I wouldn't have it any other way, for I would not want to experience the pain of losing someone.

As soon as it hit me, I knew, I just knew. Five days. I get five days. I really do apologize for those last five days. After all, I knew I was acting strangely. I guess I was being weird... I just wanted to be close to my friends.

"Lucy? What are you doing?"

She squeezed me tighter, holding on to me. "I just...just let me hug you, okay?" I frowned.

"Lucy what's wrong?" I asked.

She smiled brightly, "Nothing! Just felt like I needed to do that!"

I guess you could say I was being extra affectionate and cheery. Even when things were bad. I couldn't help it, I wanted those days to be perfect.

"Lucy! I'm sorry but we can't go on a mission, I promised to fish with Happy! I know you need rent money." I smiled apologetically.

"Don't worry about it! I'll be sure to find some somewhere." She says, a bright smile still one her face.

I didn't want you guys to worry about me, but I didn't want to be alone either.

"Lucy? Aren't you gunna go home?"

"Yeah, I'd just like to stay at the guild with everyone though."

I didn't ever want to be alone.

"Morning Luce! Wake up! I'm going to go to the guild now!"

"Wait... Just, stay for a minute, okay?" She grabbed my hand and pulled me onto the bed.

But, funny thing is, that's how I ended up. Alone.

"Luce! Don't worry I'll get you out of there!" I started pulling at the rock wall in front of the cave entrance.

"Don't worry Natsu. I'm fine in here. Just stay with me until it happens okay?"

"Until what happens? Luce you're scaring me! Come out!"

"N-Natsu...I'm going to miss you."

"DON'T SAY THAT! IM GOING TO GET YOU OUT OF THERE!"

"Natsu-"

"NO LUCY! You're coming out!"

"NATSU JUST LISTEN OKAY? IM NEVER COMING OUT! I WON'T HAVE TIME! Five days! I got five days to be with you guys!"

By this point I was crying.

"So Natsu, there's nothing you can do. I'm never going to go on another adventure with you, I'm never going to fight beside you again, I'm never going to see another sunrise again, I'm not coming out. The time is ticking away, so just, don't leave me okay?"

"Lucy I'm going to get help! I'm gunna help you!"

"NATSU NO! DON'T LEAVE!!"

I was already gone.

Writing in a dark cave is a lot harder than it looks. I wish I could at least see the sun again, but....
