Alone, stranded on a urban island where people once commenced.

 I will not make it 'til dawn so please, let your memories of me live on.

Even when, my body is unable to carry on.

Promise me, you'll be able to move on, for I fear if I leave you, you'll feel as if you never belonged.

Once I become one with the soil my journey is complete.

You need not worry, we shall meet, we'll meet again in your dreams.

You'll hear me whisper sometimes, but when I do, I hope it will be clear.

 "I love you." I'll whisper in your ear.
