I fell for a boy...chapter 9
SORRY FOR GRAMMAR AND SPELLING
Elsa's POV
Wounds and bruises hide behind my skin, they finally healed. Long sleeves, skinny jeans aren't a problem any more, there's nothing to hide. No hood to cover my flaws.
Walking down the halls I feel no stares, no whispers. So.. this is normal. I have to admit, being normal, it's hella boring. My sneakers walk at a steady pace to class, the heavy book bag swinging slightly on my back. Books of old history and maths are gripped tightly in my hands. The school bell rings as I walk through the doors into my class. Thankful the teacher isn't present at the moment, which gives me the chance to grab a seat next to Jack.
" hey " He said. Simple and short.
"hi" I replied feeling his hand tangle into mine under the table.
" you look beautiful today"
" that was cheesy" I roll my eyes playfully, with a grin.
" I'm only trying to be a gentleman " Jack bowed his head towards me. Same old Jack. Stupid... but adorable.
Minutes later, the teacher walks in and wastes no more time setting up his PowerPoint.
" good morning class" his booming voice flew across the room. Hi's and hello's replied out of sync. Our hands still tangle.
During that class my mind wonders, my eyes stare out into the grey endless sky that hangs above us. You can almost feel how it hangs here, coving the blue sky above.
Scribble, scribble. The pencil danced on the page, around and around, up and down. My attention was peaked up when our teacher asked a question. I looked up, glancing around I see no one holding their hands up, confusion written on their faces. Doesn't anyone know? I sigh, just suck it up Elsa.. my hand shakily reaches upwards.
" Ah! yes Elsa? " His grin grew seeing me, Elsa winters, the shy girl hold her hand up in his history class.
" He loved her, that's why he left the kingdom. The people didn't accept that she was a daughter of a farmer, and that he was a prince...I t-think" Biting my lip, I hope I had it right. Even though I read this in some book.
" That's exactly right. Well done miss winters" He gave a fatherly smile before continuing to explain the work.
" well done." Jack whispered, hoping not to get caught.
" for a moment I thought I fucked up." A small giggle escaped my lips, however was unnoticed by sir. Jack smiled at me before returning to his work. I felt that small spark of confidence in my lower stomach, I'm glad didn't mess that up.
