"Yehl."

Her attention quickly turned to him, a bright smile on her face.

"Yes? Dear?" She always tried to sneak in a little pet name, to butter him up. Maybe then he'd stay for longer, hold her closer.

"I don't have time for this right now. Could we just.. Get it over with? I have work."

Yehls smile soon faded. "Oh. Right, right." She quickly cleared the bed, throwing some random junk from her bed to the floor. "Sorry for the mess. I wanted to clean for you, but I always procrastinate." She sat down, smoothing out her bed covers with her hands as she looked up at him with bright eyes."Just.. Just do what you came here to do."

((This may or may not be a mitski reference))

Yehl was miserable, eating junk food at 3 in the morning while watching a random show she'd discovered. A romance.

She glanced down at the family size bag of chips she had begged Lily to get her, a churn of guilt and disgust welling up in her stomach as she noticed she was almost entirely finished with the bag. By herself.

She threw it off into a corner, hardly caring for bugs anymore. Or, at least, she tried to push that to the back of her mind. She didn't have much energy to get up and clean at all. Her once clean, neat and organized room was in shambles.

She always watched her eating habits, especially when she was in a relationship. She felt disgusted with herself everytime she slightly overate, in fear she'd get fat and 'ugly'. Boys didn't like big girls. But she couldn't be entirely skin and bones, either. Boys wanted a curvy girl, with some meat on her bones, but not to much, or she was a pig. She grabbed a pillow and screamed into it.

All of her past boyfriends were older than her, by a long shot. Her last one before Keith was a 27 year old man. She was barely pushing 16.

They met at a supermarket, when Yehl and Lily were tasked by their father to go out on their own for once. Lily never liked him, keeping a close eye on the older man. But Yehl was drawn to his friendlyness, the way he helped her around the store. Like someone she could trust. When he asked for her phone number, she didn't hesitate, despite her sisters hushed protests.

"Lily, shut it! It's not that serious. And dad does NOT need to know, hear me? You just don't get it. Your younger, and I'm more mature than you. Just trust me, okay?"

If only she had listened to her little sister.

He was a demanding man, not fond of  Yehl talking to other people. She spent most of her junior year backed into a corner, to afraid to talk to anyone but her sister. But, eventually, he'd convinced her to push them back, too, left alone with only him for comfort.

-

"Your so mature for your age. I couldn't find a girl like you anywhere else," He told her.

Her eyes sparkled as she perked up, leaning against his shoulder. "You really think so?" She looked up at him with such sweet eyes, like she'd never seen someone so wonderful, or admirable.

"I do," He pulled her closer, kissing her forehead. "Seriously. In looks and personalty, mature. Your real special, baby." He reassured her, though his eyes never seemed to match with what he was saying. They either seemed like a black void, sucking her in, or that he was starved.

She blushed, looking away for a moment. "Your too sweet. I'm seriously not that great, I mean, there's ton of other girls in my grade that are way prettier and smarter, and I seriously don't deserve a guy like yo-"

"I like that shirt. You should wear it more often." He interrupted blankly, staring down at her simple pink tank top. Or, maybe at her cleavage.

She looked down at herself, chuckling a bit. "This old thing? I wore it when I was a little girl! I only wear it around the house. It's just.. Gotten tighter. That's why I don't wear it around. 'shows to much', my dad says." She sighed, rolling her eyes. "I guess I just feel comfortable around you, baby."

"Mm.. It looks beautiful on you." He mumbled, his voice a bit raspy. He slowly crawled up onto the bed, getting closer to her. "It shows off your.. Features." He smirked, staring down at her breasts.

Yehl smiled awkwardly. "Oh, thanks! Your shirt is very-"

He interrupted her with a kiss. A intense one, one she wasn't used to. She pushed him away after a few minutes of back and forth, trying to catch her breath. "Jesus.. Your sucking the air out of me!" She giggled. He was on top of her now, straddling her lap.

He chuckled with her, the sound dark and quiet. It sent a shiver down her spine.

"Yeah? Your so cute. You can't even kiss properly. Never had a boyfriend before?"

"N-no! I have, but they haven't kissed me like.. Like that." She searched his face, sensing a bit of possessiveness on his part. "But, your way better than them, baby. I promise!" She quickly reassured him, cupping his face with her smaller hands.

His smirk lingered, carressing her face as well. "That's good to hear. I'm sure none of the others have had as much experience as me, hm?" He retorted. "I can take care of you. In ways your small little brain can't even comprehend." He whispered.

Yehl was a bit creeped out by the way he said that, but she smiled brightly. "Yeah! It's great having a boyfriend like you," She cooed. She felt like she constantly had to reassure him, or he would get upset.

He ran a hand through her hair. "Yeah? I can show you other things I'm good at, too." He gently layed her down, not waiting for a response. "Let me take care of you."

Her eyes were innocent and confused, but she obeyed, staring up at him with those vulnerable eyes he loved.

"Okay! I trust you."

-

Yehl wanted to puke. Thinking of that made everything inside hurt. Her heart, her gut. She couldn't help but miss him, the way he held her so gently when they weren't doing something weird. The way he assured her that he, and only him, could love and treat her with the amount of kindness and love he did. And she honestly believed it. Despite the arguments, the bruises, despite only using her for his pleasure, those few moments of tenderness kept her going, kept her on her knees for him.

She'd kill herself for him. And that's exactly what he wanted.

-

She ran up to him, getting on her tippy toes to give him a smooch on the cheek.

"Don't you love these? Lily did them for me," She exclaimed joyfully, doing a small twirl to show off her two braids.

He reached out to touch them, rubbing his thumb against the creases. "It's adorable on you. Absolutely adorable." He said with admiration. "You should wear hair styles like that more. It just matches you so well," He cooed, running his hand through the one of the braids.

She blushed, nodding obediently. "Of course! They're always fun to shake around," She shook her head to show off.

He looked down at his watch.

"Shit, baby. I need to get going soon. Let's hurry this up, okay?" He pushed her into the bedroom, locking the door behind them.

"Babe? You said we were gonna watch a movie tonight and cuddle. You promised," She pouted. "Can't this wait?"

He paused, staring over her. "I can't help it," He began to gently push her into the bed. "You know I can't help it."

She sighed.

".. Okay. Yeah.. I know."

"It just shows how much I love you, Yehl."

--

He always used the same excuse. He had to run off for work, but only after he had his way with her.

He was a well known officer in town. No one would of suspected him of being a complete and total weirdo. Back then, she took pride in having such a successful boyfriend. But now.. She saw how he used that title to his benefit.

-

"Let me see your phone."

Yehl tilted her head, her pigtails swinging in the air slightly. He always requested she wore her hair up in some way. Then, she didn't see a problem with it.

".. Why?" She asked, hesitantly reaching for her phone.

"I'm your boyfriend, damnit, give me the fucking phone!" He suddenly yelled, holding a palm out. She reluctantly handed it to him. Watching as he went through everything.

"Why the hell are you following so many guys?" He grumbled, shooting a glare at Yehl.

Yehl looked over his shoulder, reading the usernames. "Oh, them? Those are my cousins, silly." She giggled, clicking on their profile. "See? Same last name."

His eyes softened, but he didn't let up. "Well, unfollow them."

"But.. They're my family?"

"I said unfollow them now, slut." He murmured.

Her eyes widened at the name. "That's.. That's not even-"

He slapped her. "Shut the hell up already! I'm tired of your senseless yapping! You should know by now I'm not someone to toy with, Yehl. Now unfollow them before I do something worse." He gripped her chin tightly.

"I'm.. I'm sorry," She gasped. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have.. Have talked back," She fumbled with her phone, eyes still wide with shock.

-

"Baby.. You know I love you. Don't you?" He whispered, rubbing a thumb over the small mark left behind from his slap.

She nodded, forcing a smile. "I love you too. More than anything."

His grip on her tightened.

"Anything?"

"Anything."
