I've been listening to a lot of phonk recently, usually when I'm done with work, or am not writing... just needed to have some reason to include an author's note.

Update: So, Murder Drones is finished and... I'm sorry this took so long.

The duo were walking for a bit before they came eventually found the dome made out of corpses... well, sort of.

"This thing looks a lot taller than I last remember." Thomas says as they entered and he saw some giant pod like thing with legs. "Woah."

"Freaky, right? You've seen how they act. I mean, they're freaking insane, aren't they?" Uzi says.

"Uh... you have don't have a clue."

They continued on inside, Thomas heard a crunch that made him stop before he looked down. He lifted his foot up, then stumbled as he found that he had stepped on a drone's hand. Uzi lifted a dismembered arm up before tossing it behind her, then picked up a weird green gadget and inspected it then stashed.

"Alright, I got my part. Now it's your turn, fleshy." She says as she walked up to the boy.

"My turn?" He says before looking around. "What am I supposed to be looking for?"

"No, I mean, lead the way."

"... The way to what?"

"To your human friends. What do you think?"

"What!? We never discussed doing that?" Thomas says out of annoyance.

"Oh... right... well, now we have. So lead the-"

"Wait did you just bring me out here because you wanted me to bring you to my friends?"

"Well, I didn't need your help to get this thing." Uzi then says while showing the part.

"Then what do you need me and my friends for?"

"I'm sure you flesh bags have some spare parts lying around at... wherever you guys are. I can make more weapons and I can fight these freaks once and for all."

"Do you have any insults to call us that don't have flesh in the name?"

"Whatever. The sooner we get this done, the sooner we don't have to worry about those Murder Drones." She says as he just stared at her blankly. "Ugh, okay, I'm sorry for calling you fleshy and flesh bags. But... please at least help me help you. We get rid of the Murder Drones and we both can go... do things without them, I don't know."

"Fine, fine. As long as we don't have to worry about these guys anymore."

"Okay, now can you please show me where your friends are?"

"Yes, I can."

Thomas nodded and turned to lead her where he came from... then he looked around before his eyes widened. Then he started to sweat.

"Uh..." He says to himself.

"Hello? Bud?" Uzi asked.

He then looked at her with a nervous smile. "So... uh... haha... uh, funny story."

"What?" The drone asked with a glare.

"Uhm... so when I was running away from that Murder Drone that attacked me... I wasn't exactly looking where I was going."

"Aaaand...?"

"And I... got here and don't know... how to get back to them." He then continues to say nervously.

"... You're joking."

"No, I'm really-"

"It's not a question, I'm telling you, you're joking."

"Well, too bad for you, because I'm 'telling you' I'm not."

She stared at him for a moment before flailing her arms around in frustration, growling in annoyance as she stomped back and forth in the snow before kicking a corpse's head then yelling out, her voice echoing through the night.

"Great, thanks a lot. We just came out here for practically nothing." Uzi says in annoyance.

"You're the one who dragged me out here. You didn't think to tell me to tell me that 'this' is what you needed me for?" Thomas says back in annoyance.

"Ugh, it doesn't matter." Uzi says before the boy noticed something out of the corner of his eye. "Look, I got the part I need, so we-"

Before she could finish, Thomas grabbed her and jumped down behind some rubble. The drone was about to yell at him before he covered her mouth, then they heard clang as the boy put a finger to his mouth.

She nodded before he moved for them to sit next to each other, pulling out a reflective shard and holding it up, seeing that another drone with wings that looked like the one who attacked him had landed on the pod. It lifted a dismembered head up before crushing it.

"Murder Drone?" He asked quietly.

"Murder Drone." She whispered back.

He lowered the piece and Uzi took out the green gadget. She looked at Thomas and he just shrugged before she rolled her eyes and looked back at the reflection piece... the Murder Drone was now looking directly at them... X forming on its face.

"Oh shit." The boy said under his breath.

Quickly the two got up as the Murder Drone jumped. Uzi ripped a piece out of her rail gun before loading the gadget in. Then as she aimed the Murder Drone landed hard enough to crack the ground and cause the other two to bounce into the air, knocking them back.

The railgun was sent in the human's direction as he rolled onto his back. Meanwhile, Uzi did a back flip and landed on her feet.

"Huh, and they said pirating all that anime was useless-" She says proudly.

That was before the Murder Drone rushed in front of her, then its tail whipped back as she rose her hand in defense, stabbing her in that very hand. She groaned in pain before the Murder Drone flew up into the air with her still stuck to him.

Thomas managed to recover, holding his left arm in pain. He saw the railgun and was quick to pick it up. He saw the Murder Drone land on the ground before flinging Uzi. He saw and quickly jumped, causing her to crash into him before they rolled across the snow until his back hit against some built up rubble.

He groaned in a bit of pain as the drone did before looking down, finding her hand had a hole melted through it. Then he focus went back to the railgun.

Thomas wrapped his bad arm around the smaller drone before rolling over to the gun. He picked it up before the smaller drone snatched it and aimed. The Murder Drone turned, only to find them not in the place he flung them in, before turning to where they actually were.

"Bite me!" Uzi says before pulling the trigger.

And-*BOOM!*

The impact of the blast caused them to get pushed back as the gun began to smoke. Then a beeping appeared with a 'RECHARGING' message before disappearing. The headless body of the Murder Drone fall to the ground with fluid spilling out.

"Holy, hell." Uzi says before laughing. "Suck on that, Dad!"

"That was the most epic thing I have ever seen." Thomas says while smiling.

"Right?"

They smiled at each other for a bit... then their smiles dropped as they noticed the position, they were in. Blushes appearing on their faces before they crawled away from each other. The boy cleared his throat before the drone stood up.

"Thanks for the uh... assist." Uzi says before walking over and holding a hand out for him.

"No problem." Thomas while taking her hand and getting up before they both reeled back in pain. "Shit! That stings." He says before looking back at the drone who was still groaning while holding her pierced hand. "Oh, god, that's... oh jeez."

"Forget it. We're gonna just tell them that some battery acid leaked out of the door or something."

"Uh, Uzi." The boy says while pointing.

She looked in the direction and her eyes changed to shock as she saw the Murder Drone rise up, goo recreating its head, before it started beeping with an error message on screen with one of its head lights red. Panicking, she quickly picked up a dismembered hand and ran to it, swinging it at its face. Next thing they knew, it chirped, and its face changed to two yellow eyes... that blinked...

"Did you just slap me with that arm?" It then says with an oddly non sadistic smile.

"Holy crap it talks." Uzi says.

"And it's... weirdly sane now." Thomas says, shocked.

"Yeah, uh, sorry it's just my head kinda hurts." It continued to say while scratching the back of its head. "Hey, are you two new to our squad? You're a little..." He looked at the human first. "Oddly shaped and..." He then looked at the smaller drone. "Short for Disassembly Drones." He finishes with a suspicious look on his face.

The two looked worried for a moment...

"I'm serial designation N! Nice to meet you." He then says in a cheery tone.

"I'm kinda the leader of the squad in this city... That's not true, everyone tells me I'm useless and terrible." He then says sadly before his eyes widened. "Wait... I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO TELL YOU THAT PART! Biscuits. Well, honesty is the best policy." He then laughed. "I also can't seem to remember the past three hours of my life, ah I'm sure that'll sort itself out." He then says before blinking.

"Uh-huh... we uh..." Thomas starts to say.

"We've gotta go." Uzi says while pointing with the dismembered arm.

They started to walk to the exit before Uzi dropped the arm and hissed in pain while holding her hand. Thomas went to her aid.

"Oof, stuck yourself? Just pop it in your mouth. Our saliva neutralizes the nanites, otherwise I'd be constantly disassembling myself." N says as he catches his tail before it hit his head before nervously chuckling.

"And by our saliva you mean...?" Thomas trailed off.

"Disassembly Drone?" All three say at the same time.

"Riiiiiight... Hey, let's all go in that landing pod over there." Uzi suggested.

"Sure. I love doing anything!" N says all cheery.

(In the pod)

Uzi pulls her hand out of N's mouth and shakes it in disgust. "Sweet eh... I'm open to new things I guess." The Murder Drone says.

"That was not what I expected to see... ever." Thomas says.

"We are never talking about this." Uzi says in a stern tone.

"Talking about what? Consider it, uh, repressed." N says while crossing his arms.

"... Right, so, uh. You talked about there being others?" Thomas asked.

"Yeah, they coming back soon?" Uzi also asked.

"Oh yeah, two others. They're out hunting for a bit, but you'll love them." N says enthusiastically. "First there's V."

(N's Explanation)

V rips open a worker drone and holds his organs up. "NO PLEASE! Don't eat my entrails in front of my family!"

She cackled as she started tearing the family apart as N stood by, looking uneasy but not stopping her. When she was done, she stood up and wiped her mouth.

"And yet, I still feel nothing." V says while her eye twitched.

N took a deep breath through his teeth. "So, uh, V. I heard this planet wide toxic death storm is supposed to be especially inhospitably tonight-"

"OH GOD! Who are you!?" She yelled while jumping back before bringing out her wings and taking off.

"No worries, I'm N, but... a whole letter is a lot to remember. Aha." N laughed nervously.

(Back to the present)

"So, obviously a lot of mutual respect there. But secretly... I have a huge crush on her." N whispered. "YOU CAN'T TELL ANYONE!"

Thomas and Uzi looked at him before doing the zip motion with their mouths then giving him a thumbs up.

"... A-and then there's J! Our leader!" N brought up.

(N's Explanation)

N was on the ground, getting stomped on by a leg as it went up to reveal J.

"N, you're worthless and terrible." She said to him.

"Thank you!" N said choking.

"And if the company would've allowed me to, I would've killed you on the spot."

(Back to the present)

"J's awesome." N finishes.

"... Great..." Thomas nervously laughed.

"But uh... V's not exactly in the best mood right now."

"What? What's up here metallic ass?" Thomas joked.

"I don't know, but it's probably something that happened two days ago. J found her and her face was busted up really bad."

Hearing that, the boy's eyes widened before looking at him. "What?"

"Yeah, she healed just fine, but she won't tell us anything. Any time one of us asks she just storms off or says nothing happened to her or... threatens to kill me. Must've had an accident and is too embarrassed to admit it. Wait... BISCUITS! I shouldn't be talking behind her back like that." N says nonchalantly.

Sweat started running down Thomas' face as he gulped. "I-I see." He nervously laughed. 'Shit, shit, that bitch is still alive! Oh, I am so dead!'

Uzi saw the nervous look on his face and understood immediately.

"Here let me give you the tour." N says, still smiling. "Outside are the corpse... wall thingies." He says with an uneasy look on his face. "And here are the buttons." He then starts pressing the buttons while making beep boop noises.

"Doesn't look like they're working too well." Thomas says while looking at the broken screen.

"This isn't just a landing pod. It's a spaceship." Uzi exclaims. "This could get us off the planet."

"Mmm, more of a one-use missile. They never taught us how to land." N states.

"No, I... uh, the worker drones... we could work with them. Instead of all the MURDER!" Uzi yelled while pointing a finger at N who leant back startled. "Which why are we doing that again?"

"Other than ingesting their WARM SWEET oil to prevent overheating and dying? I guess I just wanna be useful."

"Wait, so you-Ugh... We NEED to kill these guys?" Thomas asked.

"Yeah, that's uh... I figured you'd have gotten that by now. Isn't it hard coded into your mind or something?" N asks with a raised brow as the boy looked around and made farting noises with his mouth. "Well, like I said, I was given a job, and I always wanna try my best."

"And look all the respect it's gotten you, N. You really think the company isn't gonna dispose of you once all the workers are dead?" Uzi asked while standing up.

"Oh, my, you sure are rebellious. It's kinda exciting, but uh, not as fun as... following the rules." N says while doing finger guns.

"Uzi's right. If you keep 'following the rules' their rules are likely to get you dismantled for parts. These guys are not to be trusted, especially your 'friends' that don't care about you." Thomas says as well.

"Hoo, dang, you guys go hard with the rebellion act." N laughed before they heard a bang from above. The boy and worker drone looked at each other in worry. "Hey, they're back. You're gonna-" He started to say before seeing his two new friends gone.

"Idiot, get out here!" J's voice came from outside.

(Outside)

Uzi and Thomas started frantically running down to the colony. While running the boy took a glance back. He saw a bright yellow X in the distance and turned back around while speeding up, knowing who it was and not wanting to stay by any longer to find out what she'd do to him.

"So, uh, that thing with the other drone's face being busted... did you...?" Uzi asked while running.

"Questions later! Escape now!" Thomas yelled.

"Good plan."

V watched them and giggled before flying down. "Yo, we got two runaway workers out there I kind of wanna practice balloon animal shapes with." She says while landing before looking around. "What happened here?"

"Synergistic liability here must have tripped and knocked himself offline." J says before slapping N, his face then saying 'SYSTEM REBOOT' before she snapped her fingers. "Moron bot. Hello?"

After a second, N's eyes came back to normal as the red light on his head was now yellow with the rest. Then... he realized.

(N's Vision)

The figures he couldn't recognize now were cleared up and revealed to be a Worker Drone and human.

N's eyes then squinted realization. "Oh..." He then turned around and saw the footprints. "OHHHHHHHHHHHH!" He put his hands on his head as he realized. "You know, I-I-I-I left an e-extremely dangerous weapo-Uh, an excuse o-outside."

He then turned and started to follow the footprints. J glared... while V changed her hand to a flag that said 'Literally, so insanely suspicious'.

(Meanwhile)

"Adrian, are you sure we shouldn't head back?" Rika called as the three humans were riding on snowmobiles. "It's getting dark. I don't think we're gonna find him."

"I'm not stopping until we find Thomas!" Adrian called back.

"Look, I know you probably don't wanna hear this, but I don't think he's... he's..." She struggled to find the words.

"I'm not giving up!" He says before they skit to a stop just before they went over a cliff.

After a second, the boy punched the handle of his snowmobile in frustration. Rika got off hers and walked over to him.

"Look, I know it's hard to take in and I know you don't wanna believe it but..." She says to him. "Adrian, I don't think Thomas could've survived this long out here."

Adrian tightened his fists, before loosening them. He reached up and took his goggles off before covering his face, sighing heavily.

"Only four of us left." He mutters to himself. "I can't lose anyone else."

"I know." Rika says. "Listen, let's head back and-"

"Wait, I see him!" Marnie yelled as the two looked back, seeing her with binoculars. "I see Thomas!"

"WHAT!?" Adrian yelled as he ran over to her and took them and looking where she was, seeing the other boy running with the worker drone. "It is him!"

"No way." Rika says in disbelief.

"No, seriously, he's... and he's with a Worker Drone."

"What!? There are working ones out here?" She yelled before taking the binoculars to look. "How'd he find one of those? And... why is it dressed like a high school goth girl?"

"I... I don't know."

They then heard landing noise and looked to the other side of the cliff, seeing another drone, but with wings that flew by. They looked shocked as they saw it turn its hands into claws.

"Was that also a Worker Drone?" Rika asked nervously.

"... It's something." Adrian says while putting his goggles on.

(The Colony)

"Haha, I am out, boys." One of the workers playing cards says while dropping his cards.

They all had a good chuckle before the big door opened the air blew all the cards away. They all groan in annoyance at whoever opened it.

"Ugh, bite me!" Uzi says as she and the boy ran in before she took out the keycard. "Close it! Close it!" She says while smacking the card on the screen as it kept saying 'OW'.

"CLOSE ALREADY!" Thomas yelled while punching it, causing the screen to say 'OW FINE! STOP HITTING ME!'.

The door closed and made a heavy thud as the two looked back. However... the door wasn't fully closed... if the claws between it wasn't proof enough. They stabbed into the top half, another set going into the bottom half before pushing them open, revealing a yellow X bringing fear to everything in that corridor.

"Oh shit." The boy says to himself as the X changes to eyes.

"Hey, fellas. Ooh, deal me in! I love Rummy!" N says before realizing. "Wait, no. Ugh, I'm supposed to kill everyone. Rain check."

Then his tail whipped inside past the two, throwing them aback. As they looked at the stinger, they found it stabbing the card into the reader before pulling back. The big door and the doors before it all started opening, much to the once kind and now deranged looking drone who had his claws ready.

"Everyone, RUUUUUUUN!" Thomas yelled as the two and the group both took of... except one guy.

"Um, actually, it's Gin Rummy, so..." He chuckled before getting stabbed into the wall and then decapitated... idiot.

Then like that, N turned one of his hands into a blaster before firing at the remaining drones. Explosions erupted around the duo as they were running, the railgun having not finished recharging as a decapitated head flew over them, followed by the sounds of one guy being mauled behind them.

"Shit! Shit! Shit!" Thomas was yelling.

"I knew we shouldn't have brought you here, Flesh-thing!" One of the drones running beside them says. "We should've thrown you out to die, you filthy monk-" His head blew up, spraying oil across the boy's face.

"UGH! EW! GOD!" Thomas yelled while wiping it off his face.

"Hey, Uzi!" Another drone yelled while running beside them. "I just realized no one has, uh, said my name aloud so far. So, I'm just letting you know, I'm R-" Then he was suddenly sliced in half.

"SHIT!" The boy yells before looking over his shoulder, then back to the only other drone. "Uzi!"

"It's not done yet!" Uzi yelled back at him before the message said it was ready. "Now we're good."

She skid to a stop with the boy as she aimed behind her, only to realize that he was gone, leaving the bodies behind. Thomas ran to her side, panting while hunching a bit, grabbing her shoulder for support.

"Pretty nice hydraulics, huh?" They turned around and saw Khan entering.

"I would say so, yes." The doctor tells him.

Then they looked forward and their happy expressions changed to shock and horror upon seeing the carnage in the halls.

"What have you done?" Khan said in disbelief.

"... Uh... wait... wait, wait, wait." Thomas says with his hands up as Uzi looked mortified. "I know what this looks like, but-"

Before he could finish, N landed right in front of them, shattering the floor and causing the four of them to stumble back. Thomas tripped and fell on the floor behind some crates as the doctor nearly fell himself while the other two gained their balance.

"This time-" Uzi says while whipping her railgun around. "I won't miss!"

N chuckles as he stood up. "I'm sorry. I liked talking with you guys, but I can't let you shoot V with that thing."

"Bite me. Dad, get down."

"Uzi... you and... 'him' led a Murder Drone here!?" Khan says in disbelief.

"Now's not the time! I messed up, in the same way I'm about to fix it! Move, dad-!"

Uzi couldn't finish as the next thing she knew, N stabbed her in the shoulder, pinning her to the wall. Thomas watched with wide eyes as her oil sprayed across the floor and on the wall, shocked and unable to move.

A warning symbol appeared on her eye for a second before she looked over at Thomas and tried to throw the railgun to him, only to have it smacked away. It landed in front of Khan as he looked down at it.

"D-Dad... point and shoot! Trust me!" Uzi begged.

He looked up, seeing the X covering the other drone's face and looked fearful. The doctor saw and looked at the boy. Thomas looked at him and he could see the fear in his eyes. However, Khan stepped back and took out a remote.

"D-Dad?" Uzi asked, looking scared.

"K-Khan, what are you doing?" The doctor asked.

"He wouldn't." Thomas says to himself.

The drone only looked down in shame before lifting his hand up and pressing one of the buttons.

"KHAN! NO!" The doctor yelled while running to him.

A heavy door came down, blocking the two off from sight. The lights flickered to red, and an alarm started. Thomas and Uzi stared, disbelief and dread washing over them as what happened slowly registered.

Slowly Uzi's arms fell to her side. N noticed and then his face turned back to sympathetic. Thomas put a hand to his head, not knowing how to react at all.

"Woah, N." They then heard as the boy quickly crawled further behind the crates so that he couldn't be seen before he heard a clang on the ground as N threw Uzi to the side. "Am I dreaming, or did you do something not useless for once?" A voice, presumably J says.

"I've been trying to get past those doors for months." Another voice that made Thomas freeze up says. "Nice work, N."

N smiled before realizing what he heard. "You... me... name... remember?"

"These ventilation shafts can easily get us around this last door." The voice says as one of the other two drones walks forward and he was able to see who it was.

'Oh shit, she is back.' Thomas thought to himself.

"Lowest body count eats a missile!" V then activated her wings before flying into the vents... subjectively speaking since she broke through the ceiling causing rumble to crash down.

"Way to go, stud." The drone presumed to be J then walked forward, patting N's back hard. "The company's gonna love this."

'Why the hell did they make these psychotic murder-bots with thick thighs!?' Thomas thought to himself.

"With this colony wiped, we'll make top team this quarter for sure. You know what that means." J tells her fellow drone before walking in front of him, then taking out a pen with the JC Jenson logo. "Branded pe-ens!"

N oohed at the pen before she tossed it to him then spread her wings out. The male drone looked back at the pen before looking towards Thomas who was still hidden. The human didn't say anything, the look of fear on his face saying all that needed to be said. The drone then looked at Uzi's fallen body and formed a somber expression before looking back at his leader.

"Uh, you know, not that I can't wait to keep murdering all these, uh... maybe not-so-actually-different from us Worker Drones-" He starts to say before his leader rose an annoyed brow. "But just outta curiousity, do we actually, uh..." He breathed through his teeth before continuing. "Know what the company plans to do with us afterwards?"

Uzi came back online before turning in the Murder Drone's direction in surprise. Thomas mirrored her expression, a bit more hope in his eyes.

"What?" J asks in annoyance.

"Okay, so a Worker and..." He thought for a second. "Another Worker might've suggested that they could fix up our landing pod earlier, so we could, uh... escape the planet and stuff. "Which-WOAH! Hey, that's against the rules!" He adopted a firm tone in the moment. "But it is kinda making me question why we have a one-way pod to begin with.

"Did we actually get to him?" Thomas muttered.

"I just get the feeling the company doesn't like robots like us... ya know... robots?" N slowed to a stop. "I made a mistake. It's cool how immediately I could tell."

"Hmm, no way, buddy." J says as she walks up to him and puts a hand on his back. "Questioning the company... you just gave me the excuse I need."

*THUD!*

N suddenly twitched and an exclamation mark appeared on his face as V had jammed something into his abdomen. Metallic hissing emitted as she pulled away, leaving some magnet saying 'UPLOADING VIRUS' in its place as he fell to the ground.

"Worker Drones are corrupted, N. That's why the company sent us. I hate the see you corrupted as well." V then says mockingly.

"T-Thanks J... Al-ways loo-king out for me." N says in a glitched voice as he rolled on his back.

She scoffed with a smirk before she took off as well. Waiting for a bit, Thomas got to his feet, then walked over to Uzi, seeing hear groan as she tried to get up, holding her damaged arm.

"You okay?" He asks while reaching with his good arm.

She looked at him embarrassed before scoffing and taking it. "What do you think?" She says snobbishly before going over and picking up her gun. "They're definitely gonna blame you for this."

"I think I got that."

"A-Ah, biscuts-s. I'm so-o-orry." The glitching Murder Drone says. "I ruined your card game, then made you have an a-wkward moment with your dad."

"And I made you rebel like an angsty teen, which got you killed. Though you also tried to kill me, so morality calls this a draw." Uzi tells him before pulling out one of the crates.

"Uzi, what are you doing?" Thomas asked.

"Trying to get into the vents."

She then got on the crate and then reached out... and hopped a bit.

"Do I even need to tell you how this wouldn't work." The boy says sarcastically before the drone growled in annoyance.

She looked back at the Murder Drone on the ground before sighing. "For the record, that was the lamest heel-face turn in history. Was that supposed to be you switching sides?"

"Be-ing rebellious is a lot harder than it lo-oks. Thanks for showing me the ropes." N says, his voice still glitching.

"Nuh-uh, no bonding thing. You just killed a bunch of people, idiot."

"Yeah, she's kinda got a point." Thomas says.

"That's super fair... *sigh*, I screwed up." N says as he laid flat.

Uzi then groaned in annoyance "In the same way you're gonna fix it?" She the pulled out her wrench.

"Haha... I lo-ve doing an-ything."

"Alright, welcome to the squad." Thomas says before the Worder Drone elbowed him.

"We're not a squad." She says before going over and using the wrench to rip the magnet thing off.

"T-Thanks." N says as his face started to fix itself. "Not that I deserve it."

"Yeah, well, we can discuss thanks after we're done taking care of your old squad." Thomas says while extending a hand, helping the drone up.

"Alright." N says before shaking a bit, extending his wings. "Let's get going."

"Thomas?" They all suddenly jumped.

"... You've gotta be fucking kidding me." The boy mutters before he turned around and saw his friends. "Oh jeez, uh... hi. Hey, guys."

"W-What are you doing? What's going on!? Wha... what happened here?" Adrian says as he looks around the hall to the colony.

"Uh, yeah and... w-why is there a Worker Drone with wings?" Rika asks as well.

"Woah, more humans." N says in awe.

"And it can talk."

"Yeah, so can I." Uzi says. "These are the friends you talked about."

"Yeah, that's them." Thomas says while scratching his head. "Look, now's not a good time."

"What do you mean now's not a good time?" Adrian asked. "What the fuck is happening?"

"*GASP!* Profanity!" N says with his hands over his mouth.

"Oh, for the love-Look, guys, we can catch up, but right now, there's a problem with Murder Drones." Thomas says before getting on N.

"Murder Dro-What the hell do you mean Murder Drones?" Rika asks, gob smacked. "Tell us what is going on!?

"Bite me! We're in the middle of our Rebellion Arc." Uzi says as she grabs onto N.

"... What?"

"Look, I'll explain everything when we get back." Thomas says before patting the Murder Drone on the back. "Until then, duty calls... or something."

"Bye, humans. See you after we save the day." N says before dashing through the ceiling vent.

The three humans just stared in shock. Their brains were still processing what they witnessed.

(Meanwhile)

Somewhere in the colony, Thad was sent rolling across the ground, oil spewing along with him. As J laughed menacingly while dropping a drone corpse beside her. Her claws extended and ready for more violence.

"So..." Khan says as he backs away with the group of drones. "They found our evacuation spot. But if we build a quick door-" He started to say before the doctor slapped him.

"We can't build one that fast!" He yelled at the older drone.

Thad groaned, picking up a pipe as he stood up, wiping oil from his mouth before spitting. "Are you kidding me? You're the WDF, right? Defend!"

The drones, however, didn't follow his lead, still backing away before psychotic laughter came from above. V stabs him with her wing, then throws him behind her, sending the pipe he held flying before grabbing him and holding him up to her face while giggling just as crazily.

"HEY!" She stopped and looked back, seeing Uzi and the boys. "Put that conventionally attractive male down."

N was waving happily before he got elbowed. "Uh... J... You're sometimes kind of mean to me, and I wish you weren't. Just some constructive critism." He says, trying his best.

"Nice." She says while fist bumping him.

"It's a start." The human boy says.

"Noted, traitor. We'll circle back after-" J starts to say before doing a double take. "Wait..." She squinted her eyes at the boy. "Is... is that a-"

"Human." V growled with venom.

"Yeah, that's right! Nice to meet you again, bitch!" Thomas called out.

"You know him?" J asks.

"You know her?" Uzi asks.

"Unfortunately." V says.

"Yeah, meet her earlier WHEN SHE TRIED KILLING ME!" Thomas intentionally yelled the last part out.

"You did what!?" J says in anger at her companion.

"You know it! How's your face doing by the way!?"

"You little-!" V started to say.

"Yeah, ya know, I liked it better when it was sparking." Thomas continued before leaning in and whispering to Uzi. "I busted her face off with a pipe."

"You did what!?" N yells, astonished.

"Now I can't wait to claw yours off!" V says while whipping out her blade arms.

"We will talk about this, later." J says through gritted teeth.

"Okay, guys, V or J?" Uzi asks the two.

"Well, I'm down for a round two with that bitch." Thomas says as he tried to kick up the pipe on the ground, only to fail several times before he just picked it up. "I'll take V."

"J, please." N requested.

"Too bad." Uzi then says before clicking the pen she got from the hallway.

Then she chucked it, causing it to get lodged into J's visor as she screamed in pain while reeling back. Before Thomas could say anything, Uzi charged at her chosen opponent, leaving him and N to face the other Murder Drone who looked ready to gut them as she drew her blades.

"Come and get-" The boy started to say before she charged at him.

He seemed about to regret his decision before N got in front of him and blocked the attack, causing him to stumble back a bit. The friendly drone just kept blocking slash, not attacking back or anything before the boy went around him and tried to smash the drone's face in, only for her to dodge and kick him back as he groaned in pain.

Recovering a bit, he heard gunshots and turned back, seeing J firing bullets at Uzi. He was about to help out before V got on front of him and tried to slash him as he bent back as far as he could, avoiding the blade by just inches before he kicked her legs out, stumbling a bit himself before she knocked him back with her tail, sending him rolling across the floor.

He heard another scream before looking up and seeing Uzi had somehow lodged the pen back into J's frontal lobe again.

"DUCK!" N called out.

Thomas looked back and quickly ducked as some energy blade nearly chopped his head off again, cutting a support beam behind him. He held his chest as he avoided near death twice in less than ten seconds before V's giggling caught his attention as she rammed into him, knocking him down and pinning him to the ground.

"Not this time!" She says while raising her blade arm up.

Thomas quickly used his pipe to block the blade, it almost getting sliced fully through. He looked back at the male drone and gestured with his head towards their enemy who was raising her other arm blade.

N quickly turned his arm into a canon and aimed before firing... hearts?

"AH! My mind's in a weird place!" He screamed, catching V's attention and making her turn to face him. "Don't read into this!"

Seeing she was distracted; Thomas lifted his boot up and kicked her in the face, cracking her visor and making her stumble back before he swung the pipe, destroying her visor and causing her to scream in pain that she misfired a missile, that... landed in N's place before exploding.

"Thoma-" Adrian appeared in the doorway before getting slammed into by N and rolling across the floor.

"Oof..." Rika says, cringing a bit.

"Sorry!" N says as he helped the redhead up before dusting him off. "Didn't mean to catch you in the crossfire of our battle."

"What?" Adrian asked, his head spinning from the impact.

Before Thomas could say anything, he heard a whoosh before closing his eyes as a bright blue flash blinded him for a second. He turned around and saw Uzi with a warning sigh on her face before falling over like a ragdoll before looking at J who had her arm up with an electric canon.

Shaking his head, he ran over to help. N looked back and noticed V recovered and looked back at the human boy with rage.

"AH! Explain later! Battle now!" He says before flying over to help.

"Wait, what the hell is going on!?" Adrian called out, confused.

V was getting ready to charge at her target before N got in her way and blocked her blades with his before she jumped back into the air. The male drone looked worried but took to the air as well.

Thomas runs towards J and starting swinging, missing every punch as she dodged them without even trying. Then he tried to swing his pipe at her, to which she didn't move as the pipe didn't even connect with her face. He rose a brow before looking back and finding out the hard way that he had broken it in half from attacking V.

"Well, that figures."

He then chucked it at her as she smacking it midair with a deadpan look before it spun up before falling down and bonking off of another drone's head before he fell over. He stared with concern before slowly attempting to back away before she backhands him causing him to go rolling over to Uzi's body.

He groaned in pain before seeing her railgun next to him. He grabbed it just as the drone's tail and flung across the floor again, slamming into a cargo container by his injured arm causing him to scream in pain.

"Thomas!" The doctor ran over to the boy and helped him up.

"Fuck why?" He groaned in pain while holding his arm.

"What in the actual hell." Rika muttered under her breath.

"We need to help Thomas!" Marnie says before she was about to charge in.

"No wait!" Rika says while pulling her back. "We can't fight those things!"

"Well, that ain't stopping him." Adrian says before taking off.

"ADRIAN! Ugh, what is wrong with boys!?"

N was in a standoff, blocking V's blades with his before he noticed his friends in danger. "Thomas! Uzi!" He grunted. "Sorry. Have fun repressing this." He then licked one of V's blades.

"EW! What the hell!? What is wrong-!" She started to say before he axe kicked her so hard she crashed into the floor, causing the redhead to stumble.

"Adrian what are you doing?" Thomas asks.

"I should be asking you that! What is all this!?" Adrian tells him.

"Holy moly, more humans!?" The doctor says in shock.

"Yeah, shit sherlock." Thomas tells him.

Uzi started to recover, not finding her weapon beside her as J appeared above her. "You got a lot of guts for a barely sentient toaster." Her face said 'PLAYING:/// BestMonologueEver.mp3'. "I've had prey fight back before, but your edgy spirit-" She continued to spout off.

Khan then looked at the boy before at the door. "There's more of them!?" He shouted as his voice echoed.

"Huh?" J stopped her monologue before looking back and seeing Adrian help the other human up then looking at the door, finding the girls. "More humans? How are they-" She couldn't finish as she jumped, finding the other drone had stabbed her leg with her own tail. "GAH! Fourth quarter profits!" She yelled as Thomas saw and grabbed the railgun before running over. "Mother of company leadership retreats!"

She then tripped over a piece of rubble landing on the floor. Thomas stood above her with the gun on his shoulder.

"Uh... mercy?" She asks with a nervous smile.

"Uh... no." He aimed it at her head.

He then pulled the trigger as it started to glow brighter while J braced for impact. The gun then went-*POOF!* and then smoked while sparking. J one of her digital eyes. Thomas looked confused before looking at the gun and smacking it a bit before a holographic box appeared above it saying 'ERROR'.

Everyone looked at them in shock, not knowing what to do. The boy looked down at the drone who stared up at him.

"... Equity Partnersh-" J started to say before Thomas just swung the gun at her head.

Her screen then cracked while showing all kinds of error popups. However, he reeled it back and swung it again, cracking it further while some of the yellow lights on her headband burst, then again, before her visor said 'EMERGANCY SHUTDOWN!' then went black as the remaining lights went out, then one more time, destroying her remaining lights and her face entirely.

Thomas then huffed and puffed before dropping the gun before going over to Uzi and holding out a hand to her. She takes it as he helps her up before he grunts as he holds his injured arm. She runs over to her gun and checks it, finding the same error again.

"Dammit. Piece of junk." Uzi says in annoyance.

Then cheers and applause came from all the other drones as they came out of hiding. Adrian and the girls looked shocked to see so many. Thomas chuckled a bit before Uzi spasmed out with a warning symbol on her face before falling as he caught her.

"You good?" He asked.

"Awesome." She says with a thumbs up before N picked her up and onto his shoulders as V was behind, pouting as she was tied into a ball with her tail.

"Holy, hell. Uzi, that was insane." Thad says as he walks up to them. "You too, Thom."

"Heh, it's Thomas." The boy says with a smirk.

"And you too, uh..." The drone then says while looking at N.

"Oh, I'm N. I'm an angsty, rebellious Disassembly Drone now." The drone says while creating sunglasses on his face.

"Uh, guys." Rika called over while pointing.

J's head was slowly reforming itself as she stood up. The others stepped back in fear while V smirked evilly as the head was fully rebuilt... then all the lights on her head emitted before her face... blue screened... then she fell over.

Everyone looked shocked at the anticlimactic event before she twitched, then her face visor showed 'ATTEMPTING 24-HOUR SYSTEM RECOVERY' showing a bar below the message with a glitched percentage. That made everyone sigh in relief, V in annoyance.

"Woah, there's more humans?" Thad says as he and the drones looked astonished.

"Wow, there is so many of them." Marnie says in shock.

"Yeah, there is... wait how did you guys get here? That vent was like ten feet in the air." Thomas asks.

"We went through the vent on the floor." Rika tells him while pointing back.

"There was a vent on floor?" Thomas asked.

"UGH! Son of uh..." Uzi says while slapping her head.

"Forget it. Thomas, what is going on here!? Why're are there drones killing each other? Why are there any that CAN kill each other? What is happening!?" Adrian asks, losing his mind.

"Yeah, uh..." Thomas says before looking around the room. "Let's just... talk about this at a better time."

The other three humans looked baffled, not knowing what to say about any of what they said. Then they heard someone clear their throat and looked back as the crowd dispersed. Khan started to walk up to them while looking ashamed before Uzi threw his wrench back at him.

"I brought the Murder Drones here accidently." She says while looking sad. "You chose to leave me for dead instead of just frickin' believing in me! And that's not even an edgy teen hyperbole like when I said it last week!" She yelled as the older drone looked away in shame.

"Uh... what kind of soap opera did we just stumble in on?" Rika whispers to the redhead.

Uzi sniffled before slapping her face as her 'EDGE LEVELS' were restored again, then she looked angry. "I'll save you the trouble, Dad. I banish myself!"

The rest of the drones looked shocked before looking over at Khan, the Doctor giving him a glare. Khan tried to think of something to say but couldn't.

"Thomas, N, let's go. Everyone here can bite me." Uzi finishes.

Thomas nodded and went over, picking up J as N picked up V. The boy looked back at the Doctor who looked saddened upon seeing him. He only gave him a sympathetic stare before going to join the other two, figuring he was gonna be gone for a little longer.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Uzi." N says.

"Shut it." Uzi says while smacking him.

Then the drone grabbed the human boy before they flew through the ceiling, leaving everyone else behind.

"... Wh-What the hell just happened?" Adrian asked.

"Sorry!" He jumped as N came back alone. "Forgot you guys." He then grabbed all three of them and flew back through the ceiling as the three's screams faded into the distance.

Thad looked absolutely dumbstruck by what just happened. The Doctor stared up, still looking saddened. Khan just looked down in shame... before sipping a cup that said 'world's greatest dad'.

(Later outside)

Thomas and Uzi were standing in the cold blizzard, outside of the door with the damaged J and tied up and pouting V. N soon floated down with the other three, the girls looked shook while the redhead was clinging for dear life before he let all three of them down.

"Okay... so uh..." Rika says before covering her mouth as her face went green. "Oh god."

"Just do it on the door. We're not coming back here anyway." Uzi says before the girl goes over and pukes on it, coughing afterward.

"So, uh... we're gonna have to find shelter soon." N says while looking up. "Us Disassembly Drones will burn up once the sun is up."

"So... you guys are like... vampires?" Marnie asks as Rika joins them.

"Essentially." Thomas says.

"Great, vampire robots. That's not concerning." Adrian says.

"Forget about that. Where's your secret base?" Uzi asks.

"What?"

"Ya know, where you humans have been staying this whole time. Don't tell me you don't know how to get back, either."

"Uh... I mean... we got a GPS we can use."

"You guys found a GPS in that place that works?" Thomas asks.

"Surprising, yeah." Marnie tells him.

"And now we're taking these things back to the base." Adrian says, sarcastic.

"I mean, Thomas seems to have made friends with them... so I think we're good." Rika tells them.

"Yeah, you can trust me like the rebellious Disassembly Drone I am." N says while making sunglasses on his face again.

The redhead only sighed before he led the group around the place. As they rounded the corner, they came across something that made two of them looked excited.

"You guys got frickin' snowmobiles!?" Thomas says.

"Aw, hell yeah! Let's go!" Uzi says while pumping her fist in the air.

"We found them in the garage. Adrian went through a lot of work to get a card for it." Marnie explains.

"Heh, you're welcome. You guys wouldn't have found it if it wasn't for me." Thomas says smugly.

He chuckled for a second... then frowned when he noticed their faces. Marnie looked glum while Adrian was glaring intensely at him. Then Rika walked up and slammed him hard on his uninjured cheek.

"OW! What the fu-!?"

"If it wasn't for you!?" She screamed at him. "You left us without saying a word while you ran off into this place!"

"I was just-"

"Trying to get help!? Trying to be a hero!? Do you know how worried we all were when you were gone for two nights in a row!? We all thought you were dead!"

"... B-but-"

"BUT NOTHING! You don't know how to get around this place! You didn't know there was a colony of these drones anywhere around here! What if you never found them? Huh!? What if we never found you!? What if you died and we never found your body!?"

Thomas didn't say anything, only stared at Rika who had tears streaming down her face. His face softened before looking at the others. Marnie refused to make eye contact while Adrian continued to glare at him before looking away. He let his hand fall to his side.

Rika wiped her tears before taking a deep breath and letting it out then walking past him. "You're the worst." She muttered as Thomas only looked down in shame.

Uzi looked at him as if understanding what he was going through. N was shocked by what he just witnessed while V seemed to be enjoying the drama. Rika got onto one of the snowmobiles while Adrian got on the other with Marnie behind him.

"If you're ready, let's go." Adrian called out.

"Hey..." Uzi says while grabbing the boy's arm. "You good?"

Thomas looked at her before sighing. "Yeah. Let's just go." He says before lifting the still immobilized J over his shoulder and heading for the free snowmobile.

Uzi just watched him go by. She slapped herself before going over to N and letting him pick her up as he did with V. Soon the snowmobiles take off as the Disassembly Drone flies after them.

(JC Jenson Complex)

"Woah." Uzi says in amazement as they entered the place. "This is frickin' awesome!"

"How did we miss this giant building when we were flying around?" V says.

"Swear this place was farther away from the colony." Thomas says.

"And you guys have been staying here for..." N starts to say.

"Five days. Three in Thomas' case." Adrian explains.

"Gotcha."

"I didn't think that these buildings were even still around." V says. "Speaking of which? How are you guys still alive? The humans being wiped out aside, you shouldn't even be able to survive the toxic air out there."

"Well... wait, the air is toxic?" Thomas started to say.

"Yeah, that's why we were sent here. It's too toxic for you guys to breathe."

The boy then checked himself, looking for rashes or anything.

"You're fine." Adrian tells him. "We'll explain our side, but you guys gotta tell yours."

The girls then looked at them. Thomas, Uzi and N looked at each other before simultaneously agreeing on what to do.

"Alright. Here's what happened." Uzi starts to explain.
